Fraudulent website

Don't shop here they take your card info a sign you up for a membership for free shipping that costs $19 a month even though they admit to a lesser monthly fee in their email correspondence with me

I ordered a winter jacket several months ago (February 2022). It was towards the end of the season, so no big deal that it was out of stock. It was initially supposed to be back in stock June 2022, then July 2022. This morning, I received an email that my order has been cancelled. I'm quite familiar with both inflation and supply chain issues, not to mention the cost of bringing containers from overseas costing up to 5 times more than pre-covid shipping rates. The parka was on sale at the time for $59.99 plus shipping. It looks like I can re-order the same item, but now it would be over $100. This is the email I received.

This was not my first problem with this company. About 2 years ago, I purchased 4 pair of pants that were on sale. I paid to have the pant legs shortened. One pair was out of stock and when I received it a few weeks later, that pair had a 38" inseam. It hadn't been shortened. I spoke with customer service and returned the pants. They did come back properly shortened, but I was charged $5 more than the original sale price of the pants. It seemed silly to argue anymore with their customer service. Fool me once... well, they got me twice.
I am in the furniture business and we bring 95% of our products from China and Viet Nam. We honor the prices we quote. We'll adjust our pricelist for future orders, but we prefer to keep our customers.
I have attached the item that I purchased, as it appears on their website today, 7/18/22. As you can see, I can re-order the same item for double what I had ordered it for. Never again.

Beware of the Kingsize Rewards Scam

I ordered a coat which I have not recieved yet. I noticed two charges from paypal, one for the coat and a day later a charge of 1.99 for the Kingsize Member Rewards. A recurring charge that goes up to 14.99 a month. No where id I see anything that said I was signing up for a paid reward program and it's impossible to find details about it on the site. In my opinion a total scam.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE & RETURN POLICY

I am usually not one to complain, and most definitely not online for the world to see as I'm usually a very understanding person. However, after my last experience with KingSize Direct Customer Service, I feel as if I must warn the public.

I ordered two Christmas gifts for my husband on October 25th. Only ONE of the shirts ever arrived, although it states both were shipped. Immediately following Christmas, and finding out the shirt was sized way too small, I proceeded to return the one shirt I received and process a refund for the shirt that never arrived. While doing the return online, there was no mention of the VERY STRICT 60 day return policy (Or the fact that there is absolutely NO consideration for the holidays!), and that returning the item & requesting a refund 63 days after purchase (63 days ONLY because items were purchased as gifts FOR THE HOLIDAY!) is absolutely not accepted. Upon receiving the shirt back from KingSize Direct, I called customer service. I was very rudely told by not one, but THREE, people (yes, ALL were very rude) that KINGSIZE DIRECT DOES NOT CARE when or why you ordered something, holiday or not, and that they absolutely CAN NOT help you in ANY WAY... even if I would have called on the 61st day.

I do most of my shopping online from various different companies. I have NEVER encountered such rude and terrible customer service. I have also never dealt with a company that does not take holiday shopping into consideration. I also can't believe processing this return was such a big deal. It probably cost more in manpower & materials to accept the return, completely repackage it, print a new invoice with a reason for the returned shirt (which did NOT match the actual reason, by the way), and then add the cost of the actual shipping. UNBELIEVABLE! I WILL NEVER SHOP AT KingSize Direct, or it's affiliate companies, EVER AGAIN!

King Size Duh-Wrecked

KSD Customer service is a joke. Don't get me wrong - I have ordered many things from this site and I have enjoyed their clothing for the most part, but the customer service in itself is aristocratically, presidentially and royally sharty. I have returned items to KSD on 3-4 separate occasions. Either they give inbred chimps wet cardboard and broken crayons to keep track of customer orders or these people are boneless blobs flesh with 9V-powered central nervous systems. They never, ever notify me when I get a store credit voucher for a return, they never can seem to track down any of my past orders (hell, my Gmail account keeps a better record than their databases!) and they ask several times for the same information. I have sent screenshots of their Gmail order confirmations and was even told that they didn't send it - it was from someone else!

For example, I have returned stuff in 2018 and they reply with "we credited this return to you last year"... WTF? You can't find the right order, but you can time travel? Yeah so it's these types of shennanigans I cannot/will not tolerate from any web-based retailer. I asked the CSR to delete my address and stop sending me catalogs in the mail. Many of the of the clothes I bought in the past fit horribly and the measurements were always inches off. I have gotten better stuff on Ali Express ordering in the total blind! The only thing King-Sized about them is their collective incompetence! 3-4 years later and all the over-priced stuff in their catalogs look the same - bland, boring and a weak imitation of more authentic fashion trends that you could find more better-looking / fitting examples of at Wal-Mart or Target and not to mention for 1/3 the price.

Not to brag on myself, but what makes this separation of business even the more sweeter is the fact that I have lost so much weight that I can't even wear their stuff (anymore) anyway - so good riddance ++... in an empty pizza box sort of way.
