UPDATE: Customer Service representatives contacted me and gave me a full refund with apologies and no request for a return of the two items I purchased. The refund was processed immediately and I even got a phone call all the way from China to ask if I was satisfied with the service. I am now satisfied (and I would have been happy to return the veils, as they are of no use to me), but I do wish that the refund policy were updated on their site to prevent such experiences. It would save both parties a lot of unnecessary trouble. Nevertheless, thank you Adam C. For making it right.
This company is terrible. They have a vague return/refund policy that they do not honor if you do not like your items or if they are of cheap quality. I ordered 2 veils with the intention of returning the one I didn't like once I got them, but then ended up hating both of them because they're cheaply made. With every other online business, there is a return policy. Their policy says that they do not take returns for made to order dresses. There is NO mention of veils being included in this. Otherwise, the policy says to contact them within 7 days to initiate a return/refund. They denied my request and stated you can't simply return things you don't like. Are you kidding me? First of all, if this is the case, it's a terrible way to do business, but a great way to lose customers! Second, then make your return policy clearly state that they just don't do returns! If you make this clear from the outset, then there won't be people buying things an attempting to return them only to be denied. After the numerous complaints I've now read about this issue, it's obvious that the simple fix of making a clear return policy on their site has not be done because they just want to make money off as many people as possible, regardless of whether the items will actually be used. If I get some fake polite response to this review from a customer service rep, it better not just be empty words. Step up and do something to make this right. Ladies, please just stay away from this site. Weddings are stressful and expensive already, no one needs this kind of treatment.

Not only did I order my dress but I ordered my shoes, and my hair piece from their. I did give them my custom measurements because to me, it was cheaper to pay $20 for custom then get a standard size and pay a tailor to fix any issues. I can honestly say, everything I got was exactly as a pictures, beautiful, and the LEAST stressful thing about my wedding. I had no idea what to expect with buying a dress from a company where i couldn't try it on but it fit perfectly. The shoes were awesome, and everyone as asking me about them, and my hair piece was a great added piece to compliment my dress. Everything came quick too! I have no complaints!
Couldn't find this style shoe in the UK so took a chance and I'm so happy I did. I ordered a 6 and they only just fit, could have done with another half a centimeter but I do have long toes! They are actually quite delicate which surprised me as I thought they'd be more bulky, and don't feel too high (although I am used to wearing heels). They also came with replacement heel tips and party feet for the soles which I thought was a lovely touch, although they will be needed to stop me slipping through but then I have that problem with this type of shoe! All in all a very good purchase and will finish off my wedding dress perfectly!
I am so extremely pleased with this company! Top reasons:
1. They have a bajillion styles of dresses, including ones with sleeves in a variety of silhouettes, and many happen to be on sale right now by +50%
2. They are dedicated to their customers' questions and concerns--I've had 3 questions to ask before and during my transaction, and each one was answered individually via email in less than 48 hrs
3. Top quality--this dress is absolutely beautiful! I paid the extra $20.99 for custom measurements, and it fits so perfectly that I don't need any tailoring (which would have easily been far, far more expensive than $21)
4. They worked quickly and updated me on the progress the whole way--I've been excited about this dress from the start, so I've watched its progress each day for a week, and it arrived to my house roughly 10-12 days after ordering it from scratch
5. Expedited shipping is spot-on--once the site said they shipped, it arrived in two days--also it was packaged very carefully so as to not be damaged in the mail.
I wish I could include a photo of how perfectly the dress came out--I look so very elegant in it and I am SO pleased! I am my brother's "Best Man" for his wedding, so I really wanted to make sure I look smart.

I ordered my wedding dress and 3 bridesmaids dresses less than 3 weeks ago. I changed some of the detail on the bridesmaid dresses a couple days after the order was placed. I received my dresses yesterday. The were PERFECT! Color, detail change, size, workmanship and customer service were all above and beyond my expectations. I cannot express how pleased I am with the whole experience.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY, IF YOU DO YOU WILL BE SORRY! My mother ordered from here. When they attempted delivery she was told she needed to pay an extra $49.56 for a Broker Fee. The dress was already expensive as she is on a limited income. She refused shipment because she had already paid a high price for the garment ordered. She emailed the company to advise of the shipment refusal and about the extra money. She received a broken English reply saying the additional money was for import and duty tax which is disclosed on the FAQ page of their website. Ummmm... NO you need to put all fees on the FINAL sales receipt. That is what shipping and handling fees are to cover. It is not the consumer's fault if your fees are higher than your handling charge. Either add it to the cost of your dress or disclose it on the final sales receipt. There as no mention of a COD on the final receipt. In the response from JJ's they said pay the fee and then submit proof and they would split the cost. NO you don't ask your customer to pay and then get a refund. We will NEVER EVER attempt a purchase from this company again. She was able to find 2 dress from a better, more reputable company and the two dresses together were half the cost of one dress from here. Trust us - word of mouth is strong - I will be telling EVERYONE not to order from here. Worst shopping experience.
I ordered two dresses for two weddings and they were horrible. Not only did I have to pay $58.30 for brokerage fees that I did not know about but the dresses were poorly made. This company is a complete knockoff. After reading the reviews, I realize that none of the dresses are their own designs and they have no idea how to make a dress. I would be able to give them a pass if the dress actually looked like they were suppose to but they do not. The quality of the dress is reason alone to get a refund.
UPDATE: I was able to get a refund. After seeing my comment on this website, Adam Chen contacted me and issued me a full refund for my order and reimbursed the shipping costs. I still would not recommend the company, but Adam was very helpful and prompt.
The website was very easy to navigate and find the dress I wanted in the preferred price range. They state they will answer questions within 24 hours, but mine were answered in less than 12 hours on more than one occasion. I was worried with the idea of working with a company in China (everything cheap seems to be 'made in China'), but they had a reasonable return policy so I did. The dress was perfect and custom made quickly! Great experience!

I'll be marrying on the 1st April 2014, and due to the fact that here in Aruba wedding dresses are sooo ridiculously expensive, I decided to look online. I found different website and look for the reviews. I was not totally convinced at first, but I gave it a try. I can recommend EVERYONE to order here with them. From the moment I ordered my dress I contacted customer service, and they replied everytime withing 24 hours! I got my dress within 14 days, All the way from China to Aruba (caribbean)! The dress fit perfectly, the material is as is described on the site, very well tailored (perfectly) and better than it appears on the pictures :) I can't wait to show it off! I will be ordering my gown for my Church wedding in Ocotber.

Answer: It's risky. They have a NO RETURN for any reason policy. Doesn't fit - too bad. Doesn't look like picture - too bad. Don't think that Paypal will help you, they will usually rule that what you got is "substantially similar" to what you ordered. I paid for custom and told them that I am a size 4/6 in the front and a 10/12 in the back because I swim and that I have small bubbies and wear an A cup. I sent multiple measurements, taken by a professional. I got back a dress that would fit a 6 foot tall Dolly Parton. Maybe if you are perfectly proportioned, or if you are ordering something that isn't a garment, you will have better luck. For me, they saw a 38 inch bust measurement and assumed that I am a DD cup. They didn't listen to anything that I told them. I know that there are computer programs that you input a bust, waist and hip measurement and it spits out a pattern. Maybe that is what happened with me. My A cup bubby in that DD cup dress was certainly humorous. On the plus side, it did look good from the back. You should also know that it costs about 5.00 to ship something from China to the US, but that it costs about 45.00 to ship the same thing from the US to China. I had no complaints about the fabrics used, or the amount of time it took to arrive or the packaging. My complaint is that they totally ignored my description of my body. I recommend that you just pay a little bit more and drive to a store and try on dresses if you aren't a perfectly sized body. The "Norton Secured Seal" that JJ's employee is talking about has nothing to do with the merchandise, it just means that the website is safe from malware.

Answer: I cannot speak for the location as I live in the UK but I was very impressed with my wedding dress - I did pay the extra 20 pounds or so for them to use my exact measurements, however. The dress was stunning.

Then when I posted a bad review they said they would give me a refund and sent me a returns form with an address to where to send the dress. I sent this recorded delivery as JJS house requested and when Royal Mail went to deliver it they refused to take it. Avoid like the plague

Before you decide to purchase from this company, look up their reviews and complaints on JJ'S HOUSE.
