I found this site without time to order a custom dress. I managed to find a dress and placed an order. They responded already out of stock, please provide alternative or cancel your order. I found others that would work and was supposed to get a response in 24 hours. 2 or 3 days later, sorry out of stock, can we cancel your order. I tried several more times and the same customer service agent says again, can we cancel your order? They had no intention of helping me. I asked several times that someone call. They are liars and cheats! Now, I'm two weeks from my daughters wedding and I don't have anything. Don't use this company. It's a scam!

I have to say after a very nervous wait for my order which arrived the day before my daughters prom (which is the only thing I could fault this company on it should of arrived the week before) the dress was absolutely spot on. We paid for the tailored fit and it fit perfectly, she looked and felt beautiful in it.
We were charged an extra £32 shipping fee from courier and had to pay it to get the dress, however, I contacted JJsHouse and they promptly refunded that payment. So I would definitely recommend this company after a hesitant start!

Customer service does not exist on this website. I ordered a bridesmaid's dress but need to return it because the color clashes with the flower girl's dress. For a legitimate company this would be a piece of cake. Not with this company. No phone number to call them. Reading between the lines of the return policy it basically says that if something doesn't fit - too bad - you ordered that size so it should fit. Color wrong? Too bad! Their not responsible for the quality of your computer monitor. I can only assume this is a Chinese company because the dress came with a return address from China. The company does not operate as a legitimate U.S. or other nation's operation that cares about its customers. Stay away! I wish I had checked out this website before buying from them. Lesson learned!

This dress is as beautiful as pictured and the fit is perfect. It is true to US sizes. It arrived even sooner than I expected which was great since I was worried about receiving it in time for an upcoming wedding. I now have a chiffon jacket to match on order to cover my arms. I can't say enough about how pleased I am with my order and would recommend JJ's House. Also, this dress is very flattering if you have a tummy that fitted dresses tend to accentuate.

Do not order from this company! I order a dress for a wedding I am in and there return policy states they except returns as long as the tags are in tacked and it hasn't been warn that is how my dress is I tried it on and needed to exchange it and they offered me 10% off to buy another one! I was willing to eat the shipping cost just to get an even exchange but I still got a big fat no! Poor customer service on top of do not hold up there end of the dill on returns!

Fantastic service and quality

I love JJ's House. I've bought quite a few dresses from them over the years and their quality is consistently outstanding. There was a slight issue with the measurements on a custom order and they contacted me to make sure everything was right before making the dress. Everything was perfect in the end. I will definitely be purchasing more dresses in future when I need something for a formal event.

Should have known.

It seemed like an overseas company... They don't always think like we do. So of course the word "return" to them means "exchange". They were full of tricks up their sleeve when I wanted to return a hat. I was smart in that I only spent $38. I also knew there was no customer service number which always additionally worries me but I took a chance.

They pose two options for returning an item: Option 1: Keep the item and they will give you a coupon for 50% off a future purchase or Option 2: Return the item and get a full coupon for another item (essentially an exchange). So I told them I am opting for Option 3: Donating the hat to charity and never using their service again because I feel tricked. I gave them this website and showed them how much everyone hates them.

Well live and learn everybody... I should have looked them up before buying but I really thought I'd like the hat. So chalk it up to experience

I have ordered 2 dresses for my wedding and I am more than satisfied. First of all, affordable price. Second, grate personal assistance who is always on line and helps you to proceed your order. Third, timing. My dresses were done very fast. And last is delivery, quick and safe.

Terrible site

This company is a rip-off. I ordered a bridesmaid dress from JJshouse as it was where the bride chose. I picked an a-line dress due to not wanting anything tight. I paid for custom sizing as I had read that the regular sizes come small. Dress arrived and it was skin tight to mid thigh and the fabric at the chest area stuck out in different places. Also the built in cups were very low. Contacted them the day I got it and was told I could only get 40% back. I accepted it for alterations, but found out the dress could not be fixed, so I contacted again and they said they could only offer 10% of a coupon for my next purchase. Now 2 months later I am still fighting to get full amount paid returned to me, which I was promised during communication through PayPal.
I would highly recommended never using this site. I went to a local dress shop and got a beautiful dress that was made perfectly.

You do not deserve this 1 star, but it was my only option. I've tried for 3 days to cancel my order and all you do is ignore my "ticket". Your live chat is worthless, it's like talking to an automated system. I want a complete refund and I will never order from you again. I will definitely make sure to warn everyone about your business practices and how you ignore your customers. Why have a cancel button of it's not even truly an cancel button. It's amazing how quickly you took payment though. Shady business that needs shut down.

Loved my experience

JJ's House offers dresses to try on. Pay $10/dress, my shipping was free and fast. They arrived in a few days. I tried them on and my final decision was complete! You must send them back within 7 days, but that is plenty of time. I then ordered the dress in the color I selected and had peace of mind that my decision was right for me. The quality was very good too. The lining was soft (not itchy), well. Made and they offer custom sizing if you're hard to fit. I highly recommend JJ's House!

Such a Scam
May 2, 2015

I bought a dress- that didn't fit, they refuse to exchange or return my money. Claiming these dresses are custom made, Not! All I could do when ordering was choose a size and a color.
Their solution for me to sell it on E-bay or go have it tailored. The dress is super long, and it doesn't close (too small) they don't have a phone number, and they only communicate via e-mail. I already have a dispute with my bank. Total cost for my dress $163.18

We ordered dresses from JJ's House and they are horrible. Out of 5 dresses NONE fit! I am a professional seamstress and they do not take into account the shoulder measurement and this should have been my first red flag, but because we were pushed for time we thought we would go for it! WE WASTED $1000! The dresses are garbage. Garbage material, garbage workmanship and 10 inches of missing material in the back! Then they offer me 40% to take it somewhere to have it fixed? Where am I going to find fabric to match and fill in 10 inches of fabric? NEVER order from these people!

I just received my 3 dresses! Just Beautiful! I did not get it custom made I used the sizing and it fit perfectly except for 1! It was slightly too big on the bust, no big deal will get it altered! The dress does smell a bit fishy and I am presently airing it out! Should be fine after a few days! The zippers are hard to zip up. I was surprise of the additional Custom I had to pay! So with all this I will give JJ's House a 4 star

Bought a gorgeous chiffon and lace dress on final sale. I was nervous because I knew I could not return in. I followed the measuring guidelines, which indicated I should order a 6. It arrived quickly, as promised, and was so pretty! The bodice needed to be taken in a bit for the best fit, and the dress is designed with alternations in mind, so I was able to do it myself! As I'm 5' 1-1/2", the dress needs to be hemmed as well unless I plan to wear stilts or stand on a small box throughout the event. Buying this dress on a terrific sale gave me insight for future orders. Get out a tape measure or a piece of string and a yardstick and take careful measurements! Do not order based on your usual clothing brand size. A custom option is just a little more and might be the best way to go--check the size guide. I am very happy with my dress. The details are so pretty! I will definitely be back!

I ordered a custom measured gown for a black tie affair. The dress came in 5 days! It was beautifully made, lined and fit like a glove. Customer service was top notch and answered my many questions promptly. I would highly recommend this site and actually have to all of my friends and family. I'll be back to order a Christmas dress!

Shoddy work...

This is the most shoddy work I have ever seen on a dress, raw edges showing and without the bling even glued on... horrible! There was also a small cut in the material, right below the place where the embellishment is suppose to go... let's just say that I will never buy from JJSHOUSE again, and I will warn my friends as well. Luckily I may have enough time to repair and embellish dress before the wedding!

SCAM COMPANY

I purchased a dress and paid extra for custom measurements, however they did NOT use the measurements of hollow to floor or my height, so the waist is in the wrong place and cannot be fixed. When I notified them they said I got what I ordered (FALSE) and they would refund 40% so I could get it fixed. No. I showed pictures proving they did not use my measurements.

This company is a scam.

They send out wrong dresses and then keep half the money because it is impossible to return. Out of 4 dresses ordered for this wedding, 3 have been unusable and 1 has been too long but that bridesmaid was able to have it hemmed thank goodness.

I was a bit worried about receiving my order as i ordered $300 worth of stuff for my wedding after reading all these reviews. But i now have received my order and am so pleased with everything. Such good quality, affordable price, great customer service. And they helped track my order the whole time. Overall great experience with JJHouse.
