Shoes are dreadful, business is a scam not worth trouble to jump thru their hoops to return. Don't waste your time or money and do your research before ordering. I will be more diligent to not order goods that come from China in the future.
DO NOT BUY from this company. It took 2 months for one bra to arrive and it did not fit as advertised. OK so I made a mistake. Cups were very small for a XXL size bra. No way was it adequate for a D or E cup size breast. Unable to return. They will not refund even after many, many e-mails and responses. Web site states, "Buying online can be a daunting task, so we want you to realize that there are ZERO risks in buying something and trying it out." Don't believe this. The risk is if you do not like the product--tough luck--no refund.
Terrible construction, plastic and rubber, no support, nothing orthopedic or premium about these shoes. Sloppy fit. Contact your cc company or bank for your money back. Jane closet will not refund you! Also contact the better business bureau!
My 72 year old Mother ordered a pair of walking shoes Jane Closet listed as "orthopedic". They arrived and were made of cardboard and plastic. She can't stand in them, let alone walk in them. Don't waste your hard earned money on items so Cleary made in a sweatshop of degraded materials by people who are nothing more than swindlers.
I got really worried when the "shop" tracker kept telling me that the shipping label was created but not loaded. I had ordered my Shoes on June 14, expecting that they would take a couple of weeks. I got the order confirmation but no indication whatsoever when the shoes were targeted to arrive. Not even a range of dates. Then I started writing notes and I got responses, but none of them answering my question as to when I might expect a ship date. Then I saw the reviews on this site and got worried.
Long story short, the shoes did show up, they look fine and fit fine. But it took 3 weeks, and the "shop" app never worked properly for tracking. So I'm replacing my one start review with a 2 star since I did get the merchandise. But their customer service and shipment tracking is pretty horrible.
I almost thought I had been scammed because it took almost 5 weeks to get the shoes (just like they advertised) but they are absolutely wonderful. I have a high arches - check - need cushion for lots of walking - check - feet swell sometimes, but not all of the time - check - don't like an orthopaedic look - check. They arrived today and seem well made. When I emailed asking about tracking, I got a quick and complete response. Worth the wait.
So I finally got my shoes. Won't be keeping either pair. The blue Maryjane sandals are a disaster. The lining sticks out at the toe and looks terrible. The strap is not long enough to cover the velcro strip. And they are not comfortable. The green ones are cute, but are too small (my fault). I wear an 8.5 but ordered down to an 8 instead of a 9. Too much trouble to return them to China. I'll be donating them to Goodwill.:-( Do not recommend Jane's Closet. Buyer BEWARE.
I ordered three pairs of sandals from Jane Closet June 24th and It took almost a month to receive them. I never received any information that would enable me to track my order. I did receive them and I do love the sandals but Jane Closet needs to be more on top of timely shipping and tracking. It is not a scam but it does take awhile to receive. Sandra M.
Hi everyone! Don't give up on Jane Closet. I ordered my sneakers on June 5th 2020, it is now July 10. As of Thursday July 9 I was really getting anxious WHERE'S MY SNEAKS? ON JUNE 3 I sent e-mail asking where are my Sneakers? Well guess what came today? Yes and I love them, the color, size, fit, and comfy! Thanks Jane!
... but I LOVE the shoes I purchased. Yes, they came in a bag, yes they take FOREVER to ship to you, but they are comfy as hell and look just like they did online- I think they were worth it.
Well they are very light and pretty... but NO arch support. I will have purchase arches to glue in. And the right shoe is floppy and loose and the left fits. I have read that there is no use trying return to China!( it took 60 days to arrive so I guess no use trying to return for the postage cost and likelyhood of never seeing my money.and will have to re sew them myself. Not worth it... really
I would rate them a ZERO if that rating were available! Non-existent customer service and absolutely inferior product. Cheap Chinese crap! The site leads you to believe the product(s) are located in the continental US, but the order, which took forever to be placed and subsequently receive, came from SHANGHAI, CHINA! ABSOLUTE CRAP!
Do yourself a favor and stay away from these scammer RIPOFF artists!
I ordered the so called "seamless lift bra with front cross side buckle". When in 3 months it still had not arrived I emailed a notice to CANCEL the order. They sent it anyway claiming it had been sent long before but the worst part is... that bra wouldn't fit a 12 year old! My bad for dealing with a company in "CA" because that is usually just a mailing address for overseas SCAMMERS like JaneCloset. Anyone from this country would know to spell it JANE'SCLOSET! I cancelled the charges but they responded with a book of paperwork. I'm ill and just going to let them have their way. Not worth my pain right now and it all comes back to bite in the end anyway.
It took over 5 weeks for my order to arrive, only to receive the wrong sizes. One pair way to small, the other pair to big. They ask you to send pictures of the packaging, the shoe sizes, etc. I've done everything they've asked, and still they refuse to give me an address to return these items too. I will be contacting my bank, BBB, and who ever else I can contact! There should be something consumers can do when your completely ripped off..
Again it's probably a want to be shop in China. I ordered orthopedic sandals in my size absolutely too small and I don't believe this sandal was intended for a human foot. I returned them and they told me (of course) they never received them. So $40 down the drain then $15 to return... what like thy never existed BEWARE
Update 7-9-20: Shoes arrived yesterday. They're definitely not worth the original or sale price. Didn't even come in a box and they were scuffed. Haven't decided if I'm going to go through the hassle of returning or just going to wear them around the house. Either way, it was a waste of money.
My shipment is showing that it is now in LA. That's progress. I will continue to update until my order is received. Too bad I still haven't received any responses from their customer service team.
Tracking on the Shop app shows that the order is moving still. So that gives me some hope. I would've felt better if I had gotten some responses to my emails though.
Ordered shoes - 5/22. It is now 6/5, still no shoes. Product is shipped from China, which you don't know until you receive a tracking number from Yun Express. The tracking number came on 5/25 but it's still not showing any movement. Email sent for a refund on 6/3. No response. I will post updates if I get any. If you don't see an update, it means I never got my shoes and they are a fake company.
Update as of 6/22 - if anything was actually shipped, it's now showing In Transit. I will continue to update.
I ordered 3 pair of shoes. If you buy 2 pair you get 40% of. Well that didn't happen. I ordered my shoes July 21,2020. I have at least 4 emails with concerns, percentage off, where's my order and you took the money as soon as you received. Unbelievable, this was a gift for an elderly woman who needed orthopedic shoes desperately. I'm so upset that this has happened. The problem with places like this makes me want to just stick with Macy's, Amazon.
Bought a pair of "orthopedic support casual shoes." Thank God I didn't pay much for them. They are too short and have absolutely NO support built into them. I waited 25 days for the shoes to ship from China. When they came, I immediately emailed Jane Closet to see how to return them. AH, there starts your problem. Received notification that shoes are supportive and are therefore rejected for return/refund. Thank you VISA for crediting my account. DO NOT BUY from these people! Save yourself a lot of grief, They should be be out of business.
On June 4th I ordered two bras from Jane Closet and it is now July 1st and have yet to receive them. I have sent two emails to customer service. One I received a response that it was shipped out and the other no response. These products come from China. My account was debited immediately when placing the order. I requested a refund with no response. I would recommend ordering from Amazon since they seem to have their ducks in a row. They respond when their is an issue and they do not debt your account until the product has shipped.
Their items are not what they claim to be. The quality is below par. They also answer your first customer service question and then don't answer any other ones. They haven't refunded my money, even though I have followed their process. Do not buy. The shoes were too small also.
Answer: Their items look great online but they must come from another country for it to take over a month to receive yet their shipping company is in California. They are like an export and import company. It's less of a headache if you don't purchase from them!
