I've used this service over a decade while it was rarely "wholesome" as a lot of people catfish there i had good memories, they added AP and it just became an internet brothel (Litterally Sometimes) about a month ago I decided to delete my accounts, but had a change of heart due to nostalgia and submitted a ticket to have it reactivated, after 72 hours customer Support responded with a copy paste "here's what we need template" okay "here's what I have",...3 days, no response sent an email...6 days, no response sent an email...9 days, no response sent an email
Day 10 I sent a long frustrated email with a request for urgent response. It's ridiculous.

If I could rate this zero stars, I would. Banned my account for 24 hours, because I apparently said something inappropriate in a GA room. I do not visit GA rooms, so I questioned this decision. They immediately reversed the ban, but still accused me of the misdeed. I asked for proof, wanting the evidence they are using. They refused to provide this, claiming it was sensitive information ((Which was apparently my own words)). They are a shady company, who will happily take your money, but provide zero actual customer service. Apparently the next time they claim something happened, I get a permanent ban. I cancelled my VIP, and they are never getting another penny of my money. I warn other against the same

I have played this game since 2015. At first, people were very nice and social. Now as an adult, people are so mean and nasty to you. You basically get booted out of rooms for having normal conversations with people. On top of that, people park there all the time. Nobody actually respects you there. Owners don't really care about if you're getting harassed or bullied. If the bully is their friends, they'll just boot you. If they can make the game user friendly, I'd play more.

I prefer to watch girls live on J4Sex.com and sometimes I get to meet some of them for real (it's possible to arrange it with some of the girls and that's always a lifetime experience every time I go on such a date). Just avoid IMVU. It's bait-and-switch. You'll exchange a few standard canned messages with bots and then these "girls" are nowhere to be found. IMVU is sleazy, phony and tricky. It's not worth a dime. They overcharge you from the first payment. They automatically sign up you for their sister sites against your consent and those sites overcharge you too. Their customer support must be based on Mars, they are simply unreachable. You have to close your bank card to stop these recurring payments.

IM Vu restricted my account because they said. I got too many free credits from watching video eggs. I also buy a lot of credits. They are very expensive and I feel as though I am for you does not appreciate me as a customer they accuse me of exploiting their free credit.

IMVU banned me for the third time. There is one huge and appalling problem on IMVU: they like to ban your account after you make a purchase. Their customer service is dreadful, it's kind of non-existing.

I have reported an account for harassment multiple times but it has never been taken down when reaching out directly IMVU ignores users and forces them to just keep reporting and reporting even if these accounts give out their personal information and tell them to harm themselves they don't accept photo evidence of cyberbullying. They have failed me.

IMVU is dodgy! J4Sex.com is safer. I never had any financial problems with them. Also they never had any security breaches (something that happens regularly on IMVU). IMVU steal your bank information and misuse it. They automatically sign you up for their sister sites and in a month or so they put unauthorized charges on your card, basically stealing your money. They could have been a great porn site, if they hadn't messed things up because of their extreme greed.

Im going to rate it a 1 as it seems they take forever to respond back even after you respond back immediately to them and you can even have 1 single public room if you are not vip... they want all this money but take all the time they want assisting people...

Chat supports are not-so-customer-service oriented at all. They just finding people's reason to ban, ridiculous reason. And took your money out of your card. They won't even bother refunding the on-hold purchases. Well, take my generous donations.

The attached images will speak for themselves. Betrayal is putting it lightly. They don't care about you. They only care about your money. I was locked out of my account, and blamed for the fact that someone had sent fraudulent sites with my account. Do not trust this corporation. When the going gets tough, they will stab you in the back with a gloved hand.

I've had an account on IMVU off and on since the client first started. It was never intended to be for children or young teenage base. Originally known for its virtual reality and the ability to date others (Instant Messaging Virtual Universe) IMVU is just what it sounds like... envy. Since growing with the client, I've noticed it has quickly sunk through the site being slowly directed to a young audience. How did it get to this point? There were times you could bond with others virtually, make long term friendships and join club type groups. You could hang around and hold conversations about almost anything. Granted communication has become easier over the years, instead of silent chats and I do appreciate that the rooms are friendlier than quick boots. Should you let your kids on this client? If they are over 18, responsible and taught caution when interacting with strangers. Is it for children? NO!

I like the pioneer spirit of this site. They have taken what would be just another place to connect through a social network, and have added a visual appeal. While it is true that they really need to continually advance in regards to 3D development they have certainly managed to pull a swath of people looking for partnerships.

It is almost like a 3D dating site. But if they develop their community of users right then they could achieve a more futuristic facebook feel.

There is definitely caution to be had here since we are adding a new layer of anonymity. Now when you connect with someone their traits, likes, and personal info can be fake, PLUS they can make you feel as though they actually look like the character they pretend to be. This will easily fool the young and inexperienced.

So take caution but have fun with this semi-networking gaming-like site!

Honestly Paying for this game is addictive which made me go against buying stuff in the first place,I literally had to take my stuff out of Google because of the charging fee... ridiculous

This is so tedious. I have been going back and forth the whole time in trying to restore my first account back. Luckily, I made another account a few years back, thinking that I would be able to use it too. Unfortunately, my plan did not pan out the way I wanted it to. Instead of making things easier for me, it made it so much worse. Guess what? My new account was restricted as well just because of the fact that I have not logged in for a couple of years. I mean I get it, but why do you have to go so far as to restrict my account? At this point, everyone is being banned/restricted/disabled because of these petty reasons. THEY NEED TO CHANGE THAT. Focus on making the game better instead of these little tedious issues just because you're bored. Like, put your use into something productive. Waste of my time and their time.

It was good at first now it turned bad.
To many rude People and underage players that be faking there age and toxic people and fake all they way around and more I wish I could give It an 0 stars just don't play imvu what ever you do it's nothing but drama if your looking for drama then play it download it

This is a community run by arrogant pricks who assume you owe them something. They are never wrong and when you assume they are they will either ban you or shame you on their social media platforms. If you do try IMVU just be sure to run in the right circles, because not doing so will leave you feeling unfilled in what you have invested. Im VIP and spend a lot of money, however they do not care. They cater to their choose and they dont mind that you know that.

I disputed an unauthorized charge on my bank card and my 2 accounts were disabled. The customer service is terrible. No help at all. I'am permanently disabled on both accounts for questioning a charge. Don't waste your money on this app. I wish I could give it zero stars.
