No, Played around 6 years, and despite all bad and broke non-sense moral they had, I never stopped to log in at least 1 time at year or invest in the game because in despite of all it was a good "game" for chat and meet people. But since this last year that they Deleted... No, Erased my account with no way possible to recover it. So I got 2 alternatives forced by them: 1st Create another account with no refunds or no help such more initial credits etc... or 2nd Stop Playing.
Fair, isn't it? All the careless about my account (going to be selfish now) I had PA with ID confirmed, The money expended on credits and VIP all gone.

Since you pay to be respected (PA and VIP) your account should be treated respectfully, very lack of commitment and respect for the player... 6 years All gone in a twink of an eye.

I've been on IMVU since 2009-2010. I was a 9-10 year old kid playing this game and I still hop on to this day (a new account though since I can't remember what 9-year-old me used for an email). I've played on and off (due to school) through my teen years and now as a 20-year-old, let met just say this.

Staff doesn't care. They really don't. If your account is hacked then that's it. Say goodbye to your account! If you're dealing with a stalker or harassment, staff won't do a single thing. Pedophilia is a HUGE HUGE HUGE problem on this game and as someone who has AP and is age verified, I've had to kick minors from the AP rooms I'm a mod in. I've emailed IMVU staff before with chat logs and photos and all I've gotten from the staff is a copy-and-pasted message about how they can't do anything unless there's chat logs -- WHEN THERE WERE CHAT LOGS.

Toxicity is another huge issue within the community but that's expected with any community. It's very much like an early 2000s high school film if it was a game. Transphobia is rampant throughout the game and if you're trans, like I am, get ready to deal with creeps wanting to fetishize you and jerks who like to harrass you.

I really would NOT recommend this game for kids at all. The biggest and most important issue is the pedophilia and it's obvious staff doesn't care about it. They'd rather not deal with it and pretend like it doesn't exist despite this being a problem for YEARS. As a kid when I first started playing, I remember 30-40 year old men trying to groom me. It's just insane.

454 credits went missing from my account. I checked the balance logs no purchase was made, my account was not hacked. I contacted support with screenshots of the balance log to show that on the 29th I had 564 credits and on the 3rd of the next month had 110. The logs showed NO purchases made during the time between these dates.

Support came back telling me to check the credit logs and turn 2 factor authentication on. I responded explaining that it was not hacking and that I sent screenshots of the logs already. I then explained the problem again.

Support shut me down, closed my ticket and told me my account was already checked and refused to help. I am missing over 400 credits, no hacking, no purchases yet they refuse to help or give them back.

The right thing to do is if you see no purchases made, I see no purchases made, I've not been hacked and you have not taken them for any reason is to give them back rather than run me in circles.
I have provided PROOF, I have explained and re explained the situation. So its obviously a bug in your system if you didn't do it. How is that hard to understand?

Shes also in the military and shes bullying people online and you guys arent taking actions on this matter i have proof shes in the military and also she makes rape jokes and all you guys are gonna do is disable my friend who didnt do anything?

It was overall good I like meeting new people but when someone takes your account or it gets disabled and you connect them about it's like you never get it back they never answer you I feel like they should work on that I have spent and gave imvu so much money just for it to be striped from me.

This site is nothing but drama and cyber bullying. It's full of little kids posing as adults who can't tell the difference between real life and fantasy. Also there is no good customer service. No matter what you do to stop harassment or fix problems imvu staff won't ever take you seriously. Not only that but they expect you to buy VIP to live chat them. Completely stupid and a waste of time.

You can get banned for posting pictures of things they have on the site regardless if it's Ap or not without any warning. Then when I called and asked about it the guy was RUDE AF. Honestly I wouldn't waste a dime on this trash. They don't care about the users they only care about censorship. They are biased as well. I spent too much money on this stupid game and nobody else should give them anything else.

I would give it 0 stars if I could. Don't get me wrong the shop and everything is amazing, I used MY own card for MY account and it got locked I called and somehow I owe $77? Through PayPal? Lmfao what a sham bye imvu you do this to so many people, I've been playing for id say 7 years I've had so many accounts because of this exact reason. Even sometimes I wouldn't even buy or get credits. It would just be disabled so they can extort money.

IMVU IS A HEADACHE

This is so tedious. I have been going back and forth the whole time in trying to restore my first account back. Luckily, I made another account a few years back, thinking that I would be able to use it too. Unfortunately, my plan did not pan out the way I wanted it to. Instead of making things easier for me, it made it so much worse. Guess what? My new account was restricted as well just because of the fact that I have not logged in for a couple of years. I mean I get it, but why do you have to go so far as to restrict my account? At this point, everyone is being banned/restricted/disabled because of these petty reasons. THEY NEED TO CHANGE THAT. Focus on making the game better instead of these little tedious issues just because you're bored. Like, put your use into something productive. Waste of my time and their time.

The staff like to roadblock their costumers. The customer service is very poor and the staff members do not listen when you are speaking. When I was on the phone trying to take my account off hold I told the lady on the line my name and then she quickly jumped to what my imvu name was and I repeated it twice speaking ALOUD in my bedroom at 12AM because that is the only time that their customer service is available in my country. She still did not hear what I said and she told me I needed to speak louder which was ironic because my voice was echoing off the walls I was that loud which was a clear sign that she was not listening to me. Customer service also takes days to get back to your cases when you report an issue or need help with something. What is most stupid about this media outlet is that their live chat for costumer service is also VIP. Which means if you're an unlucky user, you have to purchase the VIP membership for the Live chat to be accessible. Other than the costumer service you can meet good people but a lot of the people on the game are rather rude and insensitive. You barely get enough credits to buy one outfit or even half an outfit due to the products being overpriced and the free credits being very little. You might be able to earn free credits in the app however you don't win very many credits and sometimes you may not receive the credits at all. Call me angry but I wouldn't recommend IMVU at all. It's a waste of time and a waste of money, simply because I was one of the unlucky customers who got to see the side of them that I never thought I would see ever.

Worst Game Ever

These people are psychopaths. They wait until you get attached to the game and then maybe you're a year inor like i was3 years into playing and BAM they ban you. If you want to get your account back you have to use a new account and submit a case through their website. This is no way to treat people and this game is gonna die because of it, and I will not feel bad when it does. A fun game, terrible company.

So I had an imvu account and let's just say they stole all of my money and they will not return it. Do not waste your time on imvu its pure garbage. They stole over 6 grand. I have to tell everyone because no one deserves this. They are thiefs and I wouldn't curse even my most hated enemy with imvu. I think imvu should be shut down. Its not a safe place for anyone they get your identity and they steal all your money. They ask for your ID to verify your age on the account and proof of who you are so they can take everything from you. Don't make the same mistake I did. I regret falling for there trap.

Imvu Is Complete Trash & Needs To Be Modified INDEFINITELY. You Cant Even Decorate Your House On Mobile. They Treat Their Customers Like Trash. I Got Permanently Disabled For Payment Fraud When There Was No Type Of Foul Play To Begin With! They Refused To Retrieve My Account After I Filed 14 Support Tickets. I Made A New Account & It Got Disabled Today After A Month & A Half, Approximately The Same Time As My Old One. I Called Them & They Said " The Account Was Linked To Your First One So Any Account You Make After Will Be Disabled " Which Dont Even Make Sense! They False Advertise. They Say " File A Ticket To Try & Repeal This Decision " & They Won't Repeal A Permanently Disabled Account In Reality! All They Gonna Do Is Say How Sorry They Are. They Don't Care About How Much Money You Spend. & I Even Bought AP This Time. They Just Don't Care. Don't Waste Your Time Or Money.

I think this site, should be band. It has silly kids on abusing people with there words. I made 3 fake accounts to test out this site.
All I got was 17 year olds joking about rape and the black lives matter. Which is absolutely out of order. Calling people horrible names. People are dumb on it and don't know how much it effects some people. I can't believe it actually allows it, no wonder cyber bullying effects or scares people. It's easy for a 50 year old man to pretend they are there friend when they are not! They can easily hide there age too. It's scary and not good for kids. An 11 year old was on it too. Like who's parents actually let there 11 year old something like this.
Very Inappropriate, people call you ugly and tell you to shut up all the time. And come out with silly things too.

Scams, lies and threats:
At first I loved the game even though you have to spend a lot of money to get a decent looking avatar, so I spend over 100 on it an just bought AP before they banned my account. The reason for me being banned is apparently that I tried to get free credits in a way that violated their policies even though the only free credits I tried to get was through their offers on the game! Staff doesnt want to help nor send proof to me or even explain what exactly I did wrong". When I called them out in the public discussion they threatened me with "further disciplinary actions"!

Customer service is awful, if you submit a ticket, make it very simple as they either can't read English or the more likely fact that they don't care to read much at all, you will get generic copy and paste responses tens of tens of times and half of what you asked will be completely ignored.
I asked at least 6 times why my account was disabled, all completely ignored, I still don't know! (Yeah, I'm talking to you "Prence"!)

After a while you will get passed off onto a staff member who seems to care enough to do a proper job and you can get some things done.
Until then, good luck!

Mobile app is utterly awful, missing most of the simple features found on the desktop app and the websites not much better, it's become some awful mashup of a half-assed new and an old website.

The "new" site is missing most of the olds features and tabs and often jarringly redirects you to the ugly and in much need of an update old site.
