I go here for everything for my home! They staff is also well trained and very helpful.

. 6rhI ordered windows from Home Depot on May 18,2018. I had some questions about two windows and didnt order them till 3 days later. I was told that ALL windows would come together and they would be installed in about 3-4 weeks. They remeasured to make sure the first measure was correct. Well, on July 9 they brought out only the ones ordered on the 18th of May. THey had no idea where those two windows were and reordered them. The main window a huge picture window was 3" too short after TWO measures! The installers left massive cuts in the support frame of the picture window and 2 other windows. When I say massive, they were approximately 3" by 3inches, by 2.5 inches which we found when we inspected the install. THey put the too small window in and put a board over the top to keep the air out. We were trying to rent and that made the rental look funky. They assured me they would reorder the picture window and the two other windows. They promised to adjust for the damage if I sent them pics of the damage.( I did and so far nothing). Again, they came out twice to measure the windows... They came out Sept. 6th with the large picture window but the two other windows were missing. Again, they reordered the windows and again came out twice to measure. Here it is now 11/26/18 - OVER SIX MONTHS-and NO one knows where the windows are, and frankly, I dont think they care. I have asked to just forget the windows and settle up so I can go some place else to get the two windows installed correctly and even that is on deaf ears. I have called till I am as sick with them as they probably are with me. I will just wait until they want to be paid and call me... It has been nothing but a very frustrating cluster of errors. I give them a score of 1 star because I cant go any lower!.
THIS COMPANY DISERVES 0 STARS.
November 9th i ordered a frigde and oven. First it said it would be delivered November 26th. Then it jumped too February 4th then on February 3rd they called us and said sorry February 5th. Then February 4th comes and they say sorry its pushed back again to February 26th. February 25th they call me and confirm both applinances was going to be delivered for sure. Then 26th come and they come and they deliver the fridge but not the oven. So i call them again they said oh sorry we put a hold on it because they didnt check the order number and so now it got pushed back to March 5th. We spoke to a manger they also confirmed it would be delivered march 5th. I called them yesterday the 4th they said yup it will be here between 12:30-4:30pm the 5th. So my gut said call an double check because of all the issues we have had. Well today the 5th they told me ohhhh they didnt put you on the schedule so no its not being delivered today now there saying it will be tuesday march 8th. And to be honest i dont believe it will be delivered that day either. Im sure it will be pushed back again since no one knows how to do there damn job. Mind you its been 4 months of dealing with this bull$#*!. And not even the managers know what there doing. If you dont want to play games with this company then dont get appliances through them because there fast to take your money but wont deliver the appliances. So yeah never using this company again.
Purchased a Maytag washer from Home Depot late Nov 2016. No salesperson on the floor to ask questions and offer advice. Found employee walking past the appliance area who ordered the washer I chose and set up delivery. The only positive about this experience was delivery was on time. Washer is beyond AWFUL! Wish I could show the photos I took of the unbelievable result I got on my first dark load. It appeared someone poured baking soda or flour on the clothing, wadded it up so all the powdery mess remained in the creases, and called it good. From the first load I knew I did not want the machine. Washing a set of king sized sheets the sheets wadded up in a ball and rattled around so hard in the spin cycle, it moved the washer across the basement floor so far, it pulled the plug out of the wall. Delivery was Saturday. Monday I was at Home Depot asking to return the machine. I was told emphatically, no returns on appliances. Too bad that wasn't mentioned or posted in the store when I made the purchase. NO MATTER HOW GOOD THE SALE PRICE, DO NOT GIVE YOUR BUSINESS TO HOME DEPOT. THEY COULD NOT POSSIBLY CARE LESS ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. I was actually told by an employee that if I was so unhappy I should try to sell the machine on Craig's list and get enough to put a down payment on a machine that works! I wish I had been warned about this disaster. There are plenty of places to buy appliances at excellent prices other than Home Depot. I am stuck with a washer does not clean my laundry and takes over an hour to run through a cycle. Believe me, I have tried to work with Maytag and they too have been completely unhelpful. I will be posting a review on Maytag as well. I wish I had been warned. Please don't make the mistake I made. Buy anywhere but Home Depot! I just spotted the option to add photos. I'm not very tech savvy but am going to try to add them. They are unbelievable but absolutely authentic.
"I purchased washer and drier to replace existing appliances. Sales person convinced me to get a new cable for a washer and vent duct for the drier claiming the installation comes with these parts. This was appealing so I agreed. He also notified me that I will have 48 hours to test both appliances. If anything goes wrong, Home Deport will replace it, otherwise I will have to deal with manufacturer's guaranty service. Delivery people came in time, removed old appliances and brought in the new ones. They connected power cord to the washer and informed me that they have no vent ducts left so the will give me a credit so I can get this part from the store. They placed word "credit" on corresponding line in delivery papers. Here the fan starts. I ran to the nearest Home Depot store and after 15 min of waiting at so called Service Desk guy with named Jesus on his uniform listen to me and walked away for another 10 min. When he came back he looked into computer screen for another 5 min and said that I bought drier in another store so he cannot help me because they have no required part. Store of sale should either give me this missing duct or credit back the price of the duct. So I go to the store of sale. There I waited another 15 min until local clerk paid attention to me. Obviously he sent me to appliance sales. Where clerk stated that I will have my money back from delivery and in turn I was sent back to the Service desk where clerk claimed that I will have credit from delivery. I assume they have no idea that Home Depot subcontracts delivery. At this point I asked if I can simply buy this duct again for $24.99. This duct was found at sales and I paid for it. Unfortunately, it turned out that this particular duct model is only 8 feet and too short for any basement installation so I tad to return it and buy another one but finally, by midnight, I managed to put drier in working order so my wife could test it the next day. Fortunately, it worked OK.
I see more then few problems in this story:
1. Customer service is absolutely inefficient. They just waist consumers time and have no idea how to deal with delivery problem.
2. Sales push consumers into buying wrong parts under the pretense of free installation.
3. Delivery have no desire to get involved into free installation and I am sure that sales clerks perfectly aware of this.
4. There is a lack of communications between Home Deport and their subcontractors.
5. Home Depot pocketed my $24.99 and this is a clear robbery.
I will eventually get my money back but I strongly advise everybody who is going to buy any appliance from Home Depot to be extremely vigilant. Personally, from now on I will try to buy everything online. Appliances included.
Be prepared for your nightmare.
I am having the worst experience with home depot appliances. Their service sucks, every one is unprofessional, and don't know how to do their jobs.
I first placed an appliances order H1041-******* for a washer, dryer, and refrigerator. The first time the delivery people arrived on December 23rd and refused to deliver. They said that I should reschedule as it might rain, and they will destroy my carpets. I had to travel from next day, and I told them that they should install appliances today but they didn't. I went to homedepot to complain but nobody was there to listen to me. I then talked with online customer support, well they suck as well with an additional 2 hour hold to totally waste your day.
I then tried to reschedule delivery to Jan 10th, nobody called me and I called them to ask for it. I was told that delivery missed me and left a tag but there was no tag. Then I was scheduled for Jan 13 for refrigerator. The freezer wasn't working which I came to know after couple of days and I complained but its still in my home and I haven't received any service. Now the fridge is not working either.
Now about washer, and dryer; delivery company told me that they don't have dryer for me. Do I only want washer or both washer and dryer. I told that I want both. So, they said that they will call me back with more information. Next day I called home depot and they said that my dryer is canceled. I should come to homedepot and re-order it. I went there to re-order dryer. I was told that for now, I should receive only washer, otherwise it will be canceled as well. I received the washer and now waited for dryer.
On 1st Feb (now over 2 months since my order and about 40 days after my original delivery date) the delivery people came with the dryer but said that I need longer pipe, though my order has 8' pipe. They said they don't have them, and took the dryer back to cancel it.
Homedepot is a mess. Please stay away. They owe my money for 3 orders of washer, haven't refunded me yet. Gave me a faulty refrigerator, and there is no service to fix it or take it back. The washer is un-installed and I still haven't got as dryer even after ordering it for 3 times.
I spent a few thousand dollars on supplies for a new bathroom I was having done at Home Depot in Peoria, AZ. Back in November, I was purchasing floor tiles, wall tiles, faucets, sinks, etc., one of which was Daltile 3"x6" subway tiles for my bathroom walls. Not knowing how many in the end I would need, I specifically asked the manager in the tile dept. at that time if I bought more tiles then I use, as they were open stock could they be returned. He told me absolutely that the Daltile I was purchasing—a 3" x 6" bright white subway tile—could be returnable as you could also purchase them singly. I purchased many boxes of this tile as my receipt showed. No one ever said you couldn't return 30 of them if they were bought by the box and not separately. Who would buy hundreds of tiles all separately? That only a full case could be returned. A case of 100 tiles sold for $15.00 so $1.50/tile. But, if you bought them singly, they were $. 15. At first, the customer service cashier Reagan in fact was going to give me back the cost of one entire case—$15–but I was kind enough to point out to her that the $15 was for 100 tiles and I was only returning 30 tiles, not 100. From then on, Reagan was completely belligerent, snickering and laughing with the other customer service cashier as she said she wouldn't refund less than a box of 100. I was refused from returning 30 tiles for a credit on my credit card. They put up such a fight over $4.50. I wanted the refund on my credit card not cash in hand, but was only granted a gift card in the end which I didn't want as I'm done shopping for the bathroom. Why should I have to spend more money in the Home Depot rather than receive a refund? It made no sense. The cashier Reagan working the service desk was so beyond rude. Reagan then called a manager in tiles over at my insistence and he was very willing to do the refund on my card until Reagan put up such a big fuss with him saying it can't be done that way and saying she didn't have the code for single tiles only cases! I will never set foot in another Home Depot again. To treat a customer in that regard that has a slew of receipts with her for hundreds of dollars spent in that store, and over $4.50! It's Lowe's for me from now on.
They have great selection of products. I just wish they had more friendly people working there
They have a wide selection of home repair tools and materials.
A little high pricing though.
We buy a lot and love to shop here because they have such a great selection
I ordered a dishwasher and told the sales clerk that my dishwasher had a switch that turned on the dishwasher as well as the needed water hook up. Stephanie, the name of the employee that helped me, told me no problem, Home Depot could send the right people out to get that done. Great, we set up the delivery date, I paid for the dishwasher, and went home. Today was the big day - delivery day - when I could finally stop doing dishes by hand and I would have a new dishwasher! The truck pulls up, two guys get out, and come in to make sure the original dishwasher was placed the right way. It was. BUT when I pointed out the light switch, they said they didn't do electric and that someone else was going to have to come to my home and do the electric. And since they didn't do electric, I have a dishwasher sitting in my kitchen and the old one still in place. The delivery guys told me they'd put on the paperwork that they couldn't install it and I would be contacted. BUT I was told by Stephanie that delivery day would also be INSTALLATION day.
Not one to sit waiting for people to contact me, I called the Home Depot store in Wake Forest and talked to the manager. This is where this story gets EVEN WORSE. I have to have both a plumber and an electrician come out. I could have my installation fee refunded of $149 BUT I could be charged EVEN MORE by the plumber and electrician. ALSO since they didn't take the old dishwasher with them, I would have to talk to the plumber and electrician about removing the old dishwasher and - wait for it - PAY EVEN MORE THAN HOME DEPOT CHARGED ME FOR REMOVAL. The Home Depot manager was USELESS. "I can't help you" "I have contacted the referral service" BUT I WON'T DEFRAY THE COSTS FOR THE SCREW UP MY OWN STORE CAUSED YOU. All buyers beware - you will be screwed over the same way I just was!
I used Home Depot in Montgomeryville to design my kitchen cabinetry on the recommendation of my contractor. I was introduced to designer Maria. We worked on the design for several weeks, I provided pictures from the Tomasvisse catalog and other resources showing exactly what I wanted. I thought we had everything worked out until the contractor was ready to install the product. Central to the design were two products: a pull-out pantry and a utility closet. The cabinetry was delivered with no pull-out pantry just a regular tall cabinet with stationary shelving. Second, there was to have been a utility cabinet that was supposed to be 12" deep. A 6" deep utility cabinet was delivered. My kitchen is a galley of 6' by 9', so space is a premium. I now have cabinets/drawers that are so close my contractor had to lift the stove so that the will open some of the drawers. One is so close that the contractor would not risk putting a cabinet knobs on the cabinet for fear that the knobs, which are made of glass, would be damaged is I tried t open adjacent drawers. Worse yet, when I called to try and solve some of the issues, Maria would not speak to me and her colleagues protected her by answering the phone in her stead. They told me making the corrections would cost a lot more money. When I agreed to pay the extra money, they said that the manufacture didn't make what I wanted. When I found alternatives they wouldnt discuss them. I gave them the product numbers and everything. They told me it wouldn't work in my plan. Finally, instead of trying to address my issues the supervisor told me that I had signed off on the plans so there was nothing they could do to correct the situation. I would tell anyone remodeling their home to avoid Home Depot in Montgomeryville!
I bought 5 gallon of painting, I bought it three different times. The last customer service lies to me. The 5 gallon of painting cost around $174, but the last customer service charge me around $200 and I told him it not the right price. I told him to decrease the price and he decrease it to $190. I told him again to decrease the price again cuz it's not the right price. Hr decrease again to $180. I told him again it's not the right price and he decrease again to $178. I've done. I be like ok I'll pay with The Home depot credit card and after that I'll pay off the bill with my debit card. He was like oh yeah and then I used my debit card to pay off the bill. After that he said u paid off everything and u don't have any bill to pay, I ask him r u sure cuz I want to pay off everything including the future bill. He told me that u won't have any future bills cuz u just paid off everything. I wasn't worried cuz I thought I already paid off all my bills, but after 4 months I found out I still have to pay one more bill with alot of late fees and I called the customer service directly unfortunately I got the very bad customer service again, I explained her everything but she didn't want to listen and she kept explained me something else and repeated again and again and she kept telling me that I didn't understand what she explained and didn't care and listen to what I said. I've done with her too. I told her that I want to pay off my bill, I gave her my card info to pay off my bill but she was like why I can't submit to pay the bill. And then she transferred me to another customer service and then no one answered the phone. Humm. IL have to go to the The Home depot tomorrow to pay off my bill.
July 4th, 2020 weekend, we purchased a 4 piece appliance package; delivered about 1-2 weeks later. Boxes appeared to be in good shape upon delivery. They were stored inside our main home, boxed, as the backyard guest home was still in construction.
Two months later, our builder dollied the appliances out with my wife present. The refrigerator box was removed and there was an 8-10" significantly crushed-in area of the refrigerator. The dishwasher had mild blemishes on the front surface as well.
We immediately let the Spring Cypress (Cypress, TX) Home Depot know of the refrigerator issue and their response was, "Sorry it's been over 48 hours. Nothing we can do." They then said, "Call Samsung." And, "At delivery, you have 48 hours to register any concerns."
We never were advised, informed, or told by anyone at any time, that Home Depot has a 48hr return appliance policy upon delivery. We never signed anything nor was it ever presented to us that that was their policy with appliances. We were made aware of their appliance policy after the fact. Very disappointed by Home Depot's gross omission as it should have been clearly stated to the buyer very easily. It wasn't though.
That same day, my wife drove to the Home Depot, spoke with management, and after 2 hours and then a few more hours spent on phone calls trying to resolve this major issue, Home Depot said they would take the refrigerator back only by charging us a 15% restocking fee and also charge us $79 for picking up the refrigerator! That is unconscionable. We wanted what we paid for; an undamaged refrigerator.
It is unreal that Home Depot summarily blew us off. They acted as though we were an inconvenience. After lots of time and energy on my wife's part, they grudgingly allowed the return less the fees mentioned above. All we wanted/anticipated was a replacement of the same product. After all, it was an unused, brand new refrigerator, delivered damaged under their entire control.
How does this billion-dollar company get away with screwing people over like this? It is a brand new refrigerator, which we ordered in good faith. They took the money, delivered the product, and then washed their hands of any responsibility.
It arrived crushed and yet we are penalized and blown off by management. Had we known of the 48 hr policy, we would have removed all the boxes immediately upon delivery to inspect the product. Nevertheless, Home Depot is shameless and demonstrated its easy ability to take advantage of their small customers.

SHOCKING TRUTH ABOUT HOME DEPOT!
Home Depot doesn't care about their customers! They took a Christmas gift and obliterated it:
After spending almost $5k they show customer appreciation by missing MULTIPLE delivery appointments, repeatedly lying to me, never following up, dropping the ball repeatedly, trying to pass off a used/damaged toolbox as 'new', and making their customer come pick up their 3 pallet flooring "DELIVERY" order themselves (by which we had no other means than to unload one 30lb box at a time!). Why? Because we couldn't wait yet another week not even knowing if it would really show up AGAIN! Oh yeah did i mention the lies? Or that management agreed to a deal with me, after which corporate called me and retracted from it!
Most importantly to me, the toolbox i got for my fiance (something he's wanted for a long time) was a Christmas gift! I was so happy to be able to give him this gift this year, the look on his face was unforgettable... But now I just feel bad for it because all it has done is cause us stress and waste our time and money (3 days off work for missed appointments!) The most crushing moment was when he made the decision to pick up the flooring and deal with his gift later. He called me after they tried passing off a damaged box as New, and he said "i don't even care about the toolbox anymore, let's just get the floors done" every shred of glamour and glory this toolbox had to him was stripped away by this careless company!
They dropped the ball over and over and when it came down to it... I got a call from corporate (they sold me a box they didn't even have!) and their way of fixing it (after management and i had an agreement for how to fix it)... they gave me a refund and washed their hands! Don't shop here, they are liars and thieves!
DON'T MAKE MY MISTAKE... The hours spent on the phone, the numerous trips to the store, the countless emails, the stress, the heartache, the days missed off work, the time wasted waiting around on them, IT'S NOT WORTH IT! JUST GO TO LOWE'S!
IT IS NOW MY PERSONAL VENDETTA TO ENLIGHTEN EVERYONE I CAN ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE. YOU SCREWED UP HD, WHAT I EXPERIENCED IS DISGUSTINGLY UNACCEPTABLE, AND I INTEND TO LET THE WORLD KNOW... LOWE'S IS THE WAY TO GO!
Home Depot needs to step up their online game to stay competitive. I ordered 2 toilets online for delivery. The app did not give me any options for delivery other than it was "free" but then HD shipped the very heavy and fragile items via UPS Ground from Florida to Texas. Neither arrived as they were too damaged for UPS to deliver. The driver told me this is COMMON issue with Home Depot who does not overpack or change packaging when shipping heavy items and does not ship from locations near to destination so damage is frequent. Chat support on my order took an hour and then they had technical issues and disconnected my chat before we got a resolution. I ended up doing a phone call to support next who recommended I AVOID chat support if it is anything complicated or important and was super helpful and kind in ensuring my damaged items were on their way back and starting the refund request. They also said they could copy my existing order and have it delivered from the store on the following business day. We went over details and they had be pay via secure link and said I was all set. What should have been an easy fix then became a bigger problem as apparently the associate didn't copy my previous order or remember any of the times I verified my address verbally but let their system default the address off their profile for me which was in another state and from multiple years ago. Even though the online rep 100% agreed it was their fault, they could not resolve my issue because they had it delivered by the store so it was on the store to go collect the goods and issue my refund (or not). The store said it would be a week to go get the items which means it is going to be sitting at a strangers house on the curb for a week and we think it will still be there and in good shape? They also said that if the store didn't get the item back then it would be up to them what to do - whether to give me a refund, not or maybe store credit or something. Keep in mind this is $250 for each item. So while the online reps will offer to help take your money - they do not take full responsibility for you receiving your goods or refund if your goods are not delivered. It's how Home Depot works so buyer beware if you buy online you are giving up more control than you know. If you want something from Home Depot go to the store and arrange everything in person. If that isn't an option or they aren't helpful, then maybe go to Lowes or see if Amazon sells it.
Answer: Hi Betty, you can also return without receipt if you purchased using your credit card. Give them the same CC and they can tell the price you bought at.
