Normally a good store. Today who were those people. Trouble with checking out. Checker so concerned she cleans her key board while waiting on you. No member prices. Electronic failure with NO backup plan
Like strangers had taken the store. Sure hope this is not the NEW Harbor Freight.
HarborFreight is a great place to buy power tools along with random home and industrial products. Their prices are often better than what you would find at Home Depot or places like that. I can't lie, I'm a Harbor Freight fan.
Harbour Freights (1803 Vance Jackson Rd, Suite 105, San Antonio, TX *******) has a small variety of accessories in categories including automotive, air and power tools, storage, outdoor power equipment, generators, welding supplies, shop equipment, hand tools. The only motivated employees are the cashiers, don't ask for support no employees care. If your live close, it's a convenient place to physically go to. They're always restructuring with management/employees, which is characteristic of managers/employees leaving due to poor situations. Anyway, it's just another mini Walmart with higher prices. You get more variety and pay less at Amazon. If you feel sorry for them, stop at the store and buy something.
Bought this paid over a thousand dollars for this All forecasters dis integrated won't replace under warranty or defeat.
Steer clear of buying anything from Harbor freight in toolboxes. You pay for what you get
It was my first time in I had just open a credit card for the 10% off I just purchased a table saw as it had wonderful views for the price. Really nice and friendly group at the Eugene Oregon store. I will be back to purchase more things. Love this store
I bought a few items based on the shelf price. At checkout I was told I had to sign up and pay an annual fee to get discounts. Amazon will be my first choice. I will not step into Harbor Freight again.
I have dealt with the customer service dept. 3 or 5 times and always found them to be 5 star. They are always knowledgeable, courteous, and prompt. Today, I had the pleasure of dealing with Esperanza. She had all quality that make it a pleasure to deal with customer service. It disappoints me to read some of the unfair rating by others: for example, one person lost his job and home. He didn't pay his credit card and his credit score dropped 150 points. He blames Harbor Freight for this and gave them 1 star claiming that they are not about the community. Another person misused a product causing damage to it and expected it to be accepted as a return. Be very careful with some of these negative reviews... they are unwarranted and unfounded!
I have shopped Harbor Freight for a lot of years now and I personally like them. Their tools may not be as good or last as long as your $100-$200 tools but when money is an issue they work just fine and last long enough.
The ITC membership does not give you the stated benefit of "No need to save coupons, the best deals are automatically applied for Inside Track Club members." So if there is a coupon offer you don't get it unless you have the coupon. So my membership is a one and done.
The Pittsburgh hand tools are quality hand tools. I wrenched for the better part of 50 years. I am a double master certified ASE technician and purchased Snap-On almost exclusively. Save your money and purchase Pittsburgh hand tools when possible.
You can usually find what you're looking for if you see it online at Harbor Freight.
The experience I've always had at Harbor Freight, is they are not very forthcoming in helping you find something. They are as bad as Home Depot.
The other thing is, they are as slow as molasses in February when it comes to checkout. OMG!
I grew a beard while I was waiting to check out.
I purchased a battery-operated liquid transfer pump. I installed the batteries and it simply did not turn on. I went to the store to return and was asked: "Did you put any liquid through the pump." My response, "it never turned on, how could I put liquid through the pump?" They then held the tube to the light, smelled the ends, and wiped with a cloth. Basically, calling me a liar. They said the pump cannot be returned in-store. I said why?, I purchased it in-store. The manager came over and asked me, again, "did you put any liquid in the pump?" Same answer, "how could I if it NEVER TURNED ON!" After 10 minutes, 2 employees, holding up the rest of the line, they reluctantly refunded my purchase. All this for a $9.00 item. Oh my God, they really need lessons in customer service. I will stick to Home Depot or any other supply store before stepping foot in this place again. Can't stand their attitudes!
Bought 150$ worth of gift cards and they were shipped to the wrong address. This place won't provide tracking and says they can't do anything. They refuse to get back to me and their customer service is the absolute worst. I'd not buy anything from them if I were you. Worst company I've ever dealt with by far.
I had ordered 9 boxes of gloves, The air bag for lifting things, and a work light.
I never got the work light, was never in the box. Im far from impressed.
Customer service is a joke after waiting a half hour or more. They where no help at all. One option and nothing more. Being blasted in the ear with that garbage music high to low and back again for that amount of time. Just adds to the aggravation. Besides it being late and hanging around in mass for two days. Yeah i lost my cool with them, after a run around and no real help in the first place. As well as my ears hurting from that non-sense that kept blasting my ears. Partially def as is and they just made it worse. I'm not here to give my money away.
I only say what i see and what is.
The lovely people there cancelled my credit card account w/ no late payments and in good standing due to inactivity. Then hit my credit rating on all three reports. Scam artists. Not the last time you hear from me.
Purchased a generator. Used very little for 4 months and always stored inside. Pull cord broke and ordered a new assembly which stated in stock. It's been a week and they still haven't shipped. Extremely long phone hold times. Their service is the same garbage as their cheap products. Spend more and buy elsewhere.
Really good prices and sales. Quality isn't the greatest but you get what you pay for. Something’s are better than others you just got to know how to find them. I’ve been a long time customer mainly because of their customer service. Very reasonable company, never had a problem.
So last night I purchased the Chicago electric Flex 125amp welder.Today I go to use it and I'm getting 0 arc.Its feeds but absolutely no charge.I tried different thickness of metals and different outlets around my house and still nothing. So right away I go to return it and by "Right away"i mean the day after I bought it and im told at the store that because I didn't buy their warranty I'll be charged a 20% "restocking fee".So even tho the welder didn't work right out the box I was still charged the $21 restocking fee.I didn't make a scene because that's just not my style, but believe me i was seriously pissed off.So my advise to anyone buying any complex item like a welder or a generator or any electric tool, its in your best interest to buy the extended warranty. This is honestly in my opinion just bad business. So home Depot here I come...
I am very displeased with their shipping time, It has almost been a month now, and still hasnt shipped from their warehouse. How freaking long does it have to be? I've already surpassed their maximum delivery time. This is ridiculous... I've called them and all they did was put it as an urgent shipment... THAT WAS 2 WEEKS AGO. >;[ don't buy anything from them online..
The Synchrony Bank that is with Harbor Freight credit card has terrible service. Send them a payment 8 days before due date, and they didn't get it applied by due date. Minimum payment was $65 and I sent $200. They wanted to issue me a late payment fee.
I then did the electronic payment method instead. Got confirmation number, and the day after the payment was due, they send me a payment past due notice. They claimed payment was reversed, and was not applied. Again $65 due, payed $200. Why wait until after payment due to contact me? They wanted a late fee again. This credit card bank is very questionable. Would never recommend them…. August 2022
Trying to talk to someone about this was also a complete joke. The automated system sucks!
Almost everything is poor quality, but they fill that niche - when you need a one time use item or, for me, extra tools too keep in the outbuildings & sheds. Since they are only occasionally used, I do not want to duplicate with the type of expensive tools I keep in the shop, so Harbor Freight tools fit the bill.
As many have said - expect to get what you pay for.
Answer: I spent 24 minutes on the phone with them only to be told their product was perfect and problem was with my network. The person did not have a clue about what he was talking about.
Answer: I cannot see the particular part you are inquiring about, but could you make something to work? I am thinking you are referring to the notched piece that the handle locks into. Remember, you do not need to duplicate the piece, just make one that works. If you want to send me a picture I would have a better idea. I do have the smaller one which I think is similar. mountainsofwv@gmail, com Jim
