I went to harbor freight they talked me into buying a member ship. Do I paid 30 for a member ship bought a car charger took home won't come on period nothing take it back now it's 7 to 14 to put my back on my debit card. They take my money in seconds but won't return it for half a month. And there product don't work I threw away money buying. A membership too. NEVER AGAIN.
I ordered a product online and then tried to cancel the order within 2 hours by email. I never received a response for those emails so I called the next day and spoke with a person who assured me they would cancel the order. Next thing I know the item is shipped. Didn't even get notification that the item was shipped. Do not order online because you will not get any help if something goes wrong or you want to change your order. They'll just ship it and totally disregard any communication. I read something about that they charge you 20% restocking fee within the store, if they try to do that I'm going to raise all kinds of h3ll.
Terrible. Bought battery backup for my vehicle. Started making a screaming noise soon after. Told because it was an online purchase that I had to mail back and no shipping company will accept a screaming machine. Got noise complaints at home and had to go through extra to dispose of. Trying to dispute charge through bank, since they made impossible to fulfill return.
What is it that a successful business like yours has such a miserable manager? The white bald-headed fella on St. Andrews road, Columbia, South Carolina store. The man does not even stop to say hello to anyone. He's not very helpful when you ask him everything's a problem. He looks miserable. He is miserable. How did he ever become a manager? The staff in that location are so helpful. Why they are so helpful. Maybe he frighten them into being helpful because they know as well as many of your customers and myself. Know he is a very miserable unhappy looking man. He will not take the time to see even hello. Good morning, good afternoon to anyone I know he's busy. They're busy but there is no need for rudeness I would. Respectfully like your comment back on this matter.
Purchased battery transfer pump. Tried to use but leaked gas on my foot and mower. Took back to store, told their policy was I could send back to manufacturer or buy, yes I said buy another one. I paid $12 for pump. Probably cost $7 or $8 to send back. Who ever makes their policies isn't very smart, should be let go. Must be why people call Harbor Freight the Junk Store. I will not step foot in their store. Glad I don't work there
Ordered some storage containers on 4/26/20 and as of 5/26/20 the order still shows as Pending even though they have already been paid. Cannot get anybody on the phone as they hang up once you get past the automated system and emails are either ignored or answered a week later with a standard copy/paste response. Company also refuses to cancel the order claiming it's processed but order status states pending.
I went to Harbor Freight after seeing that they were giving 25% off purchases on 1/2/2023. I wanted to buy a 5 tier set of shelves. Got to the register for checkout and was informed that the 25% off was for members only. This fact was not mentioned in their ad on social media. Harbor Freight should make it clear in their ads that their discounts do not apply to everyone.
Update: I called up the add which was in effect for the 25% off after Christmas Sale and it did say for Members Only. My Bad
25% off "ANY ITEM". But wait there's more. "ANY ITEM" excludes half the store. Some one should start a class action lawsuit against them for false advertising. Just go to Northern Tool. Much better stuff and thanks to Harbor Freight jacking up all the prices, not that much more expensive.
Paid off my entire $973 credit card balance the automated system told me I had. 6 weeks later I have a mysterious $22 balance they're calling to collect on. I just paid it because I'd of paid $40 to never have another conversation with their barely English speaking representative. Anyhow I closed the card and don't recommend anyone get one ever!
Got email with. Winner of tool box kit. Just pay 8.97 for shipping. If I win in a raffle. I paid the 8.97. Then approx. 3-4 days later my account was charged 104.00 dollars. Called about it. Well no apologies. I was offered 35.00 for my trouble. But, I could have bought that tool set for 99.00 dollars at the parts store. My advice don't fall for the could win one. Not you don't get one even after they steal money to enter you in raffle. Bad service
Worst customer service on phone ever emphatically corrected their idiocy they however we are unable to correct their omn idiocy by entering the correct data under my account. So no $200 reimbursement check was sent to the correct address. They then do a stop payments and tell me another check will be sent... lying P. O. S
I brought it brand new. After 3 uses, it would not hold line. Couldn't find my receipt, they do not make parts. Piece of $#*!e. The problem is the auto feed button (see picture) I'm currently trying to find a new head because I don't like this type of trimmer.
Buy all my tools there. It's hard to find a sales person on the floor, the free giveaways such as mini flashlights, etc are usually gone by the time I get there. Prices are great. They make almost all that they sell. Better than any other tool, supply store I've been to. Easy to buy more than you intended if you're into tools, etc.
Plenty to choose from, cheap prices and quick shipping. Only problem I've come across is the inability to use vanilla gift cards online. Can't buy a Harbor Freight gift card online with a vanilla card either. When they catch up to the 21 century way of doing business I'll add another star.
Called what was supposed to be a customer SERVICE representative, but the last thing that this person was interested in providing was anything close to service, after the call things were just as puzzling as they were before I called and the worst part is this isn't my first experience in dealing with the rude reps that are employed by Harbor Freight. 2 thumbs down for the customer service line. They got 1 star but didn't deserve that. 0 stars
Went in today to buy some 40 by 50 inch packing blankets. The tag said clearance at $2.97 each when I got to the checkout they rang up at $4.79 each. They argued about it so I left the line went back to the store and took a picture of the tag and brought it back and stood in line for 8 more minutes to get waited on the second time. It said the same thing again they got the manager up there they were all frustrated and told me this is the difference SKU number and I said then why did you put this tag under those items. I am so sick of this crap all the time and whenever I check out they always say that my membership is expired and I need to renew it and I told him I have never ever had a membership and please don't ask that question to everybody that checks out. By the way, this is not one pissed off Customer because I've been purchasing stuff here for 35 to 40 years when everything had to be ordered from their catalog and shipped here from California.
Harbor freight took advantage of me. I lost my job and house and made what payment I could it wasn't enough. I lost 148 pts on credit score don't use them. They are dirty and all about money I understand needing money but I thought they was about helping the community I was wrong. If your late on your first payment expect to pay a 150 dollar payment. Harbor freight lost me as a customer and everyone else I can talk away from there go to lowes way better
The store 0700 in brunswick, GA has the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my 30 yrs in retail. The Manager "Bob" needs to attend a seminar related to customer service skills and priorities. Example: 5 people on line, 1 cashier, wait time per customer exceeded 7 mins., line grew to 10 customers. Manager Refused to ring up customers. I advised that 3 people walked out his reply that's a shame And he proceeded to walk to the back of the store.
An absolute joke. They try and give you so much crap at filling out warranty stuff that you enter over and over and the format is very poor for a company like HF. I will never purchase anything that I need an extended warranty for from this place. Time is precious and you shouldn't have to deal with this. Look at the review rating. It should tell you something is wrong. Oh and it says thanks for being a loyal customer. Wow...
Made me wait 12 days after order was placed to see about getting a refund even though the tracking only ever showed label created. What a waste of 2 weeks. I paid for 5 to 7 day shipping. They said wait 7 business days from may 7th lol may 7th is a Sunday. They shipped to me on a Sunday but told me they don't ship on the weekend. I have the email with the date and tracking. I just want my well pump
Answer: I spent 24 minutes on the phone with them only to be told their product was perfect and problem was with my network. The person did not have a clue about what he was talking about.
Answer: I cannot see the particular part you are inquiring about, but could you make something to work? I am thinking you are referring to the notched piece that the handle locks into. Remember, you do not need to duplicate the piece, just make one that works. If you want to send me a picture I would have a better idea. I do have the smaller one which I think is similar. mountainsofwv@gmail, com Jim
