The driver sent a pic of the delivery clearly showing a pizza box being carried at an angle causing all of the topping to slide to the side of the box and being stuck there. This pizza is inedible. I tried contacting the driver to ask how to get a refund and he responded defensively saying it was my fault. First and last time I ever use grubhub.
Took 2 hours to get an 40 minutes deliverya nd the food was so cold and nasty you could not even eat it. They offer to refund me first 5, then 7 and then finally on $10 to make this right. We order from them at least 1 time a week. Guess we will now see how Doordash works :(
Tried ordering several times and everytime the system would let me finish my order. It will only let me order fast food but if I want anything else I am S. O. L. Apparently. Crap service, doesn't work.
Grubhub has twice in a row had drivers "run off with my food." They have a reputation for not qualifying their drivers. Horrible. I will never use their services again.

I ordered my food for delivery. Waited 2 hrs then called restaurant they said no one came to pick up. I called grubhub they said restaurant delivery service ia supposed to deliver. I called restaurant again and they said it is through grubhub. I called grubbub second time Nd they said oh yes it was delivery order. I said I will pick up the food bevause guests were waiting but they needed to refund the order amount. They just refusned delivery and tip fee that was not even theirs bevause they didnt deliver. They said max they could do it $10 guarantee perks. They are horrrrible. My guests waited 2 hours for cold food. It was embarrassing

Waited an hour for my order the drive was 3 streets away for 15 minutes then it said my food had been delivered! No way to contact the driver on delivery! Then had to go through support kicked me off the chat after 10 mins back to chat page then had to wait in a 11 person que then another 15 minutes talking said would redeliver refused to offer me any sort of refund in the order if I was to still have it either cancel our have it redelivered I then agree to have it redelivered an they then tell me it can't going to have to cancel order!
I ordered a dinner with other items from a local restaurant. Grubhub kept changing the delivery time, until approximately an hour and a half later they canceled my order. I currently can't walk or drive, even though it's temporary, it's extremely frustrating to be jerked around.
I just placed my first Grubhub order. It was for two dinners. They delivered only one of the dinners. The delivery person said "sorry, the other meal was sold out. Talk to GH about getting a refund." No alert that would have given us a chance to order something else. The delivery person received her full tip. We shared a salad. We will not be ordering through GH ever again. Only one chance to make a good first impression. They failed miserably.
The driver picked up our food the went to another food establishment and waited 20 min for that order. He then delivered that order first. Our cold food was delivered 39 min after being picked up.
They have charged my card fraudulently over 100 dollars for memberships and deliveries that I never signed up or used. When told about the fraud they refuse to stop the charges or refund me. A membership is a reoccurring charge so even if you cancel your card and get a new one it will
Still go through your bank. This is how they get around it and keep the fraud charges coming.
Worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. 3/4 of my order was not delivered. I asked for a refund and was told they couldn't refund me but offered a 35$ credit which did not come close to the amount of money I was out for the food that was not delivered. I asked for the order to be redelivered and was told their system was not able to do that. So here I am out the money no food and hangry and pissed. I would stay as far away from this company as possible. I've never had an issue getting an order refunded or redelivered with Door Dash. Grub Hub is a crap company with crap customer service and crap solutions. Stay far far away.
I got told that since I have gotten (so called numerous amounts of promos and refunds that i could not get a refund for my order when my order was not fully cooked the meat was half raw and I am 8 months pregnant. I told grubhub i do not want the refund I JUST want my order re made! They rejected me and said they can not help me. They treated me wrong and unfair i gave been ordering through these people for many of years and this was the treatment I received. I ordered Grubhub 1 time on 12/12/2022. They have been taking $10.86 for 9 months out of my Venmo account. I didn't authorized this. I called their customer service to make a complaint and have this stop immediately. I asked for a refund they said they would only refund me for one month subscription to their program. I never signed up for a program or any subscription on their website. I ordered food once and that was it. I am now in the process of contacting Better Business Bureau and a lawyer. The customer service woman told me I could not talk to anyone else it was just her and that she would not refund me for the last 9 months subscription. And once again this is why I don't shop online and don't use these applications. They are thieves. What has this world come to. Full of scams and thieves. And they can get away with it. Who's going to put a stop to all the nonsense and people being taken advantage of us.

Orders are always late food is cold customer service doesn't care just don't use this service. I contacted them to get help with an order told me nothing they could do.

I understand mistakes happen but you're taking an extra risk ordering through GH! They don't really refund! I had 2 items missing & got a $3 refund. I will absolutely never order through grubhub again. This isn't the first time! You'll literally loose your money if the restaurant & or driver screws up.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
