They are horrible 3rd time I've ordered third time I got someone else's order their response thays what the restaurant gave me. I have in notes check order. After going thru hell to get someone to refund 2 hours later I still have no food. Never again I've said it before this time I mean it
WHAT A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE! I ORDERED LUNCH JUST SUSHI NOTHING CRAZY FANCY THE FOOD WAS BURNT AND COLD AND TO ADD INSULT TO INJURY THE DRIVER CURSED AT ME AND WAS VERY DISRESPECTFUL! AND THE CUSTOMER CHAT TOLD ME THEY CANT DO ANYTHING ABOUT IT! THEY HIRE SUCH UNPROFESSIONAL PEOPLE!
First time using these guys so I ordered pizza and It was delivered to the wrong address! Called customer service and I was on hold for a while and after I explained that he delivered the food to the hotel next door she had me a conference call with the driver. The driver was rude and said he followed the instructions, and I told him he didn't and explained that he left it at the hotel next door and then he said he would go back and to wait 5-10 more minutes. Once he finally delivered the Food he didn't apologize for the mistake or anything. I saw an extra cheese pizza but overall the food was cold and there was no apology so at the end I wasn't happy at all.
I've been in a mood for ice cream the past week or two. Ordered once from Friendly's and once from a local ice cream place, GrubHub delivererd for both. Both times the order was delayed by 30-40 minutes, and you can probably imagine the result. I got soup instead of ice cream with both orders. Absolutely disgusting. The second time was last night, and I was watching in horrified fascination as the driver meandered his way through the area, I don't know if there was traffic or if he just decided it was a pleasant night for driving through several of the local neighborhoods, but the result was the same: the ice cream was inedible. I won't be using GrubHub again.
$74 order I never received. I was hung up on when I called the driver and will never order from there again. Marilu was driver name and who picked up my food but a man answered her phone. They are scammers!
I've had several orders with stuff missing or them simply abandoning the order upon delivery. On top of it, the restaurant also has a surcharge of up to 30 percent. Simply put, they screw the customer and the restaurant. Never again as I cancelled my service.
They hire unqualified and uninsured drivers.
Their driver backed into our five ft rock planter and shattered it. She ran away and refused to stop. We immediately filed a police report. They refused to take responsibility. The police department tried to get information from them regarding the contact information of the driver, they refused to give it and refused to take responsibility. Shame on them! They have so many bad reviews I don't know how they stay in business.

Like many others, I had a missing item in my delivery. Also like many others, this is not the first time it happened. In fact it was the same item, on two different occasions (with one successful delivery in between). When I called, grubhub offered to refund the price of the item (not the delivery fee, nor the service fee). They certainly do not offer to correct the situation and have someone pick up the missing item (my dinner).
I realize fried chicken is not a big deal in the grand scheme of things. But, when you order dinner, pay fees, taxes and a tip, wait 45 mins and then not only not receive your dinner, but spend time arguing with customer service about why you want your chicken cause you can't eat a $10 refund, it's frustrating to say the least.
Not only that, they have outsourced their customer service to the Philippines and leave them without managers or any sort of authority to make you whole, you can tell how much this company cares about people.
After 2 consecutive days fighting with some poor customer service agents (3 am their local time in the Philippines), I got the chicken refunded and the service and delivery fees.
I'm going to just go pick up my food from now on. It's better for all involved.

After reading some of the reviews, I see people have complained about the food, and it's presentation. Takeout is not known to be beautifully plated... it's usually shoved in a box.
They've also complained about the service... this persons job is to pick up the food from said restaurant & drive it to you.
My suggestion if you want 5 star service is to unearth yourself from the rock you've been hiding under since April and go get your own food!

I ordered some food here in Birmingham Alabama around 10:45 10:50 a.m. it is now 1:34 and my order has been pushed back three times the last time it said my order will be here between 1:10 and 1:20 I called the driver I text the driver I didn't get no response I still haven't gotten my food as I am writing this review I called the customer service and ask him you know is there any way they can call the driver he said they don't have any contact with the drivers they issued these drivers phone but they have no contact with them I will never use GrubHub again these outlandish prices for delivery and then the food doesn't get delivered
Order from a local sub shop, tracking showed that the driver was about five minutes away from the restaurant. Long story short, more and more time was added to the delivery as I tracked the driver only, going in the opposite direction of the pickup place. Called GrubHub, the lady suggested I wait, I believed the order would never be delivered, she suggested I call the driver... totally unacceptable. No offer of coupon or discount just, "you'll see a refund in up to five days." I'll never order from Grubhub again. They just don't care, won't even pretend to provide anything that resembles customer service.
After waiting for my children's food for almost two hours, it just does not come the third hour grub hub calls and says it's not coming they can give me 20% off next order like I would ever use them again. I just want my money no it will take 10 days for your money to go back wtf GRUBHUB IS PURE TRASH

But if you mess up, MAKE IT RIGHT. Don't wait and then cancel without explanation after the restaurant is closed. MAKE IT RIGHT. Ferpetes sake. What a crap business practice.
I dont see what the taxes and fees are, your all ready getting 4.49 for delivery and tip is added, but what the hell is the 8.75 taxes and fees.

Ridiculously unreliable and overpriced. Often will just wait an hour or more and spontaneous cancel orders - will keep the money for several days, just not deliver any food. Can rack up delivery fees of seven or eight dollars with no driver gratuity. Customer service is a joke - it's a crappy call center that doesn't have native English speakers. Makes DoorDash seem like Herman Miller in terms of customer service. Total garbage.
2 for 2 getting it wrong and late. Never again. Ordered@ 11:40 with a "Grub Hub ETA" of 12:40, driver finally showed up, dropped bag outside my work place on an aggregate scale@ 1:35, found it at 1:50pm. We'll stick with Door Dash going forward!
I placed my first order from GrubHub and almost immediately realized they had charged my account twice for a single order. I contacted the restaurant and they sent me financial documents proving GrubHub, not they, had put the charge through so they couldn't fix it. Upon contacting GrubHub, they told me to dispute it with my bank and they refused to do anything about the double charge, they won't even acknowledge that it exists. They're basically thieves and won't even acknowledge the money they stole from me. Disgusting service.
I ordered from krab Kings threw grub hub the driver knocks on my door I got up to go get my food and he's parked in front of my house then drive off and they updated the system saying that my order was delivered they don't deserve one star they trash the worst I've ever seen
I received gift cards through my college to get through my required hotel quarantine, and 2 orders were cancelled. I was supposed to receive two refunds, but GrubHub kept telling me that they had confirmation that the orders were refunded. I did the math on my side multiple times, but they refused to double check the discrepancies. I spent hours on the phone and online with customer support, only for them to give me a $25 gift card even though I lost more than that amount. I spent time I could have used doing homework and studying, but instead fought with multiple customer service employees. GrubHub is sleazy at best, and I'm quite honestly shocked that I haven't popped a blood vessel due to their horrendous customer service.
I ordered $53 order from Cupcakes & More and Nyima the driver delivered a box (can you guess - they were supposed to be cupcakes). The cupcakes were turned over, frosting near melted; a large glob of cake and mixed frosting... Happy Birthday indeed. The Bakery "well we put a liner/rack in the box, it's not our fault." The driver: "I put them in a cooler box, I have a clean heart." Well maybe turning a cupcake box on end to put it in a cooler was not the best move regardless of your heart. Bakery and driver with no apology - neither one bothered with an "I am so sorry." no, " let us make it right" -- a blame game. How nice they are both paid, grubhub gets the delivery fee and the damn driver gets a tip for poor service! I will never use either service again. Had some big birthdays and anniversaries coming up, I order for local businesses all the time - not going to be from Cupcakes and More.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
