Ordered my food, and they kept on delaying it. I watched my time go up every 30 $#*!ing minutes. Doordash is way freaking better.
Grubhub services have drastically declined over the past few years. It is so unfair that we constantly have delayed orders, but when we call the restaurant we discover that the food is hot and ready, with no driver to deliver it.
Oh my gosh, even getting a practically free meal, I have a bad taste in my mouth. People, we should all just go to the restaurant and get pickup. Then the meal won't be wickedly marked up, no crazy service fees and the tip will go to the restaurant that is struggling.
They hire a bunch of criminals that steals your food and won't be delivered to you this place should not be operating like this I really think they are just not professional at ALL I didn't even want to give them one star period
So I ordered food through grubhub... have done several times before... food was delayed for 2 hours... not sure if it was the restaurant or the delivery after 2 hours I get a phone call... we can not find your address... give it to then again... 15 minutes go buy they call to cancel my order because their driver is a dumb $#*! and can't find my house... so we're going on 2.5 hours of waiting... my address couldn't be more simple... I will no longer order through grubhub... EVER... DOORDASH it is... Thanks Dylan... you dumb $#*!
I placed several orders with Grubhub only to have them cancelled a half hour later. Grubhub is a big waste of time. Call the restaurant directly and place your order or try UberEats, at least they work.
Imagine this: one is at home and chooses to have dinner delivered. Opens account at Grubhub and orders from a known favorite local restaurant. Then checks the order and you see they are delivering it not even to anyone in your town. Goes onto the app, tries to correct the strange address it automatically puts in, calls the help button, and gets a guy who starts calling me by the first name like he's a friend. Says he can only cancel the order and that's all. It will be a week before refunded the $100.00 order. So far, I do not even have an email confirmation of the refund. My next step is to report Grubhub for fraud at the bank where the card was used.
If I could give a zero I would. Grub hub over charged me, it's like they put there own amount on my order. Then when you call customer service to advise them of the over charge they want to say I assure you it wasn't grub hub it was your bank. Like are you stupid? Like I just fell off a water truck. Then they want to tell you you have to wait 48hr till there other dept. gets ahold of you. Then they want to say maybe there was a hold put on the card. Grant it I just used them a couple days ago and they didn't over charge. Be careful customers because grub hub is over charging then they have all these different reasons to tell you or excuses they want to use. It's a good thing we have banks that can stand up on our behalf. I'm done I will not use them again
They double the price of your order, and then try to turn you into a saleable commodity to their list servers. Screw these jerks, take back your takeout.

If i could give zero stars I could. Grubhub accepted and charged me for an order then calls me to say the menu item is no longer available. Spoke to the "owner" at was called JDykes Food court who didn't seem to have a real care or concern at all. She said there was nothing she could do (you sale what I ordered but tell me you have no affiliation with GrubHub SO there's NOTHING YOU CAN DO ABOUT IT). BOTH entities are seemingly only looking out for themselves & the money they make.
It will take 1 to 3 BUSINESS DAYS (and today is Friday) to get my refund but $45 was spent on diner for my family TONIGHT! WTF... are we suppose to wait til NEXT WEDNESDAY TO EAT? How am I suppose to feed my family TONIGHT?

Never order a gift card from DoorDash! They advertise that there are deliveries to a certain location and then once you buy the gift card there are ZERO deliveries to the area. They also then refuse to offer an refund which is fraudulent! Please share. I was attempting to help a family with Covid. DoorDash is a scam!

I have completely removed Grubhub from my phone. I have had two incidents the first time I was sent threatening text messages from the first bad order. It worried me due to the fact that they know my door code and which apartment I live in. The same incident happened today. The drivers will not get out of there car (PERIOD). I requested contact less delivery for both orders and because they where to LAZY to get out of there car it ended up with threatening text messages and countless time on the phone with the company.
Order from Eastern Phoenix at 923 grubhub waited untill 1055 to tell us there was an error and refunded us. At that point all other restaurants were closed. Kinda messed up our movie night.
When watching grubhub commercials I puke. The commercials need to change. They are racist, no white person in commercials.
I ORDERED MY FOOD AT 10:38AM! I GOT NO UPDATES FROM MY DRIVER. THEN HE TEXTED ME 2 HOURS LATER TO TELL ME THAT HE DELIVERED MY FOOD TO THE WRONG ADDRESS! THEN WHEN I TOLD HIM WHERE I WORKED, HE NEVER RESPONDED AND BLOCKED ME! I CALLED GRUBHUB AND THE LADY PUT ME ON HOLD FOR 15 MINUTES JUST TO CALL BACK AND SAY, "WE REFUNDED YOU. ANYTHING ELSE I CAN DO FOR YOU?" THIS IS RIDICULOUS
If I could give zero stars, I would. After an hour we still had not gotten food or heard from the driver. GrubHub customer service couldn't reach the driver. Restaurant closed, we had no food. The only positive is we were refunded. Never using this service again.
I got 4 text with estimated time for delivery because it kept changing. Food was cold. Other food delivery service much better and not as expensive.
My first time ordering from Grub Hub was not a good experience. I've been loyal to Door Dash and they're usually pretty good with orders arriving on time and hot. Today, I chose Grub Hub since the restaurant I wanted wasn't offered with Door Dash. I was told my order would take over an hour to get here, no biggie, I can wait. I now realize its because Grub Hub waited to pick up my order. My food arrived cold, as if it had been sitting around for an hour, which leads me to my assumption that it wasn't picked up until almost an hour after placing my order. If restaurants start my order upon it being sent through the system, then Grub Hub needs to have a driver there within a reasonable amount of time so the food isn't cold. The best customer service would do is offer me a $10 off coupon, as if I'll ever order from them again. If this were Door Dash, they'd probably refund my entire order. Door Dash is WAY BETTER than Grub Hub. Seriously, don't waste your time if you want a warm meal. It seems that cold food is a common complaint with this company. I paid $47 for 2 Waffle House breakfasts with a large coffee. That was $25 of food and $22 worth of fees, tax, and tip. I'll try to hide my shock when Grub Hub inevitably tanks one day. What a waste. Never again!
I ordered food, but had someone else's order delivered to me, I contacted GrubHub and was told I'd be issued a refund. This was Jan 24, and it's now Feb 23. There is no mechanism to contact online (because I'm told I have no active orders). I suppose I'll use the toll free number, and hopefully they'll clean this up. Still, I doubt I'll use GrubHub again. VERY disappointed.

Answer: Yes, it is normal. Original delivery times are almost never met. No drivers, Lost Drivers, Poorly trained or untrained drivers.
