The drivers never read the special instructions. My orders are ALWAYS late. Restaurants never read the special instructions either. Packaging is horrible. They leave your food on the wet pavement. GrubHub is pitiful. The drivers are the face of your company and they don't look that great. Vet them better.
We ordered a meal that should have taken 45 minutes to be delivered and after over two hours of waiting we finally gave up and cancelled the order. The kicker was that it was a quiet evening in town. No concerts, big events and even our football team had a bye weekend so there should have been no issue with on time deliver. They charged our account anyway, twice!
They may have given me most of my money back, but they did not bring all of what I ordered & charged me delivery fees. Thumbs down to you grubhub I should have gotten a full refund... smh
First time using the service and recieved scattered meat on a tortilla. No toppings or anything no sauce, just a dry taco. What a shame.
Our order was marked as delivered and never arrived. We got a message saying it was delivered "next door" although there was not one car shown on the security cameras during the time given. We finally were offered a refund but this was not worth the inconvenience at all.
They will never call you back and have no interest in hearing about issues you may have had. A waste
This is the second time that GrubHub had not delivered my order! The first time I thought OK, we all make mistakes, but today it happened again and when I contacted them about where my order was, I was told by Carmen, a customer service rep. That it showed the order had been delivered. When I explained that I had not received it she told me that she cancelled my order and would send me a link to subscribe to a GrubHub subscription. I explained that I didn't want a subscription, I wanted my lunch and she told me there was nothing she could do about that and I could just re-order.
Worst customer service ever missing so many items from each of our orders and they did not care. This is not the first time this has happened. I will never order from them

Orders placed by mistake can't be canceled, I placed my order my mistake and tried to canceled a minute later and I could not. I called Grub Hub and they refused to cancel indicating that the food was already on his way. Then, I called the restaurant myself and cancelled the order with the restaurant who said the food was going to take 45 min. Then, I had to dispute the Grub Hub charges with my credit card company. Grub Hub has horrible customer service. DO NOT use Grub Hub.
The 2 times I've ordered from them they delivered to the wrong location. The first time, I had to drive all the way back to my home from my office. The second time I had to do the same except the bastard driver didn't even leave my food on my porch at my house so I drove back for nothing and didn't even get my food!
Both times I had specified the food be delivered to the office, not my home address. Both addresses were present in their database. I assume, due to some computer error on their end whenever I call the driver, the computer is telling him to go one way and something else must be telling him to go another way or specify a different address or something. As soon as I call them to ask what location they are going to they say "oh no" and start to get all nervous realizing there's been a mistake. They seem to know there are 2 addresses and they are going (or being lead) to the wrong one. I know for a fact that the address was correct when I ordered as the second time I knew to double and triple check the address and yet again it sent the driver to the wrong location. Whether it's a computer thing - or an error on their website, an app problem on the driver's app or just plain incompetence on the part of the driver - it's still that... incompetence and it will not be tolerated.
I also wouldn't put it past the drivers to intentionally "mis-deliver" things to get a free meal - while the hungry customer gets a refund (maybe).
I hope grubhub get forced out of business so no more restaurants or customers will be INFLICTED by their incompetence.
Grub Hub charged $7 to deliver food and the driver left the food on our porch without ringing our bell or knocking. The dog was outside and promptly ate the food. Huge waste of time and money. Never ordering from Grub Hub again. Idiots.
I ordered 2 main dishes with 2 sides. I did not receive the main dishes. I wasn't able to just order the main dishes, sides were required. I called the restaurant thinking it was their fault that I didn't receive the main dishes but was informed the Grubhub places the order to the restaurant. This is my 2nd time ordering from Grubhub but will be my last time. Someone from Grubhub really dropped the ball on this one!
I would give them a zero if I could. For the last year, I have received text messages from customers that order through Grubhub and are given my cell number to text the driver if need be. I have called Grubhub customer service several times to report and they can not find anything with my cell numb or the customer that order cell number. This is poor customer service and I feel for the customers waiting for their food that are given the wrong information. Nice job Grubhub! It surely explains your poor star rating.

Grub hub takes your order, credit card info, then doesn't place the order. You run around checking the other stores and nothing. So you go home hungry, and pissed!
I ordered with grubhub and paid my money with card. And was told my order was in and its was coming then hour later they cancelled my order and said my money will be on my card in 5 business days. I didn't pay them in five days. There service is really bad. I will never order with them or tell anyone I know to order from them. They should take there service dow.
That's the worst of it really. Sometimes the order is good and sometimes there are items missing. It really depends on the restaurant and driver. The timing is what doesn't work for me. I don't like a bait and switch.
I placed an order with grubhub for delivery feom subway at 6:49pm. Guaranteed delivery was said to be by 7:40 at the latest. A few minutes after 8, I messaged customer service. I then got am updated delivery time of 9:39-9:49pm. I messaged again to address this as subway closes at 8 and food was already picked up. A few minutes later they assured me several times if I didn't cancel, it would be delivered within 40 minutes. It's an 18 minute drive mind you. Driver shows in route. At roughly 40 minutes I look at the tracking my order option. The driver showed several miles away. So I checked after no notification, ans tracking shows the driver in same spot. I get a message after contacting customer support that the driver is not responding, but he is still in route. Finally another 10 minutes later I check again, and the driver still had not moved on the track my order. At that point I call the customer support # and within 2 minutes the order shows delivered and they assure me it's delivered. I look everywhere and there never was a delivery, in fact the driver never got within 5 miles of the house where they has stopped, also the place it show when it shoes delivered. In one order, Grub Hub assures me 3 times a time. Well after anything else is closed, and I let them know I need dimmer with my medication. Their solution was "well we can refund you". Well I sure hope so, whats your guarantee worth, 3 of them in fact; if what I receive is a delayed refund after 3 hours of waiting for food I pay them well for. A service that handles people's meals that could very well be affected health wise of grub hub services failed to come through. A liability in my mind. They offered no solution to a speedy alternative other than 20% off my next order. That doesn't set well, and I assured them that will not suffice. I will never recommend ot use their service with guarantees that guarantees absolutely nothing but false advertising and offering a service that people can amd do depend on their ability to produce the service at hand. Next step, Fox bad businesses news.

They cancelled my order after an hour and the driver took my food. I called the Salt Grass in San Marcos TX and the lady said the driver tried to take the food without paying then he paid and took the food and cancelled my order.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
