I ordered from applebee. First off i Got over charged thru grubhub & they didnt even order what i ordered. But got charged for a large Platter & i didnt even get what i ordered including didnt side, dressings or extra sauce just 3 lil ribbets. $21! I called the store manager he said none of what i ordered was on the request. Unbelievable because i read to him my order right from my receipt. Never again will i order thru Grub hub. Even the manager at store told me he didn't suggest them.& i should use Door Dash! Now thats bad. Well this is my first & definitely last time.
I don't know how many times my order has been either delayed or I've had to cancel due to seeing my delivery driver being on the opposite side of town. I just don't get why they can't hire decent drivers. Or even tell me in the app that they're doing a delivery for someone before mine. I've been a loyal member but not anymore, I'm sick of this app.
The driver Dianna *******565 refuses contact less delivery. She is unprofessional and Grubhub deserves better employees. This says my order was delivered and that was a lie. She refused to deliver to my door and texted me to call customer service. I certainly did. They canceled my order. I ordered from an actual restaurant that delivered without a problem.
I should have my head examined for ordering from Grub Hub after they failed to deliver my last 2 orders. This is the third time in a row now. Last time ever... They just extend the delivery window 1 hour at a time... Customer Service is Horrible. Thankfully AMEX will easily refund the charge. Since they deal with this all the time.
Grubhub has been stealing money from my restaurant for the last two months. They stole my restaurant phone number and replaced it with a number that rings in another county. The people that answer the phone cannot speak any English. My customers I have had for over 20 years think they are calling my restaurant but they are being transferred to a third world telemarketing company. Grubhub is killing the small restaurant owners. Please do not order through Grubhub they are thief's and will not even get back to me after 2 months of trying. Please support local business
I use GH 3 to 4 times a week and 90% of the time I am satisfied. Today, I ordered and received the call from the delivery driver who could not speak a word of english. I would think that this would be a requirement since it is our universal language. The only words he seemed to know is "Grub hub". I work at a dealership that is off the beaten path and sometimes a navigation system will take a person in a different direction. As a result, They wind up behind our building. I specify in the notes as to which street we are located. How can someone who cannot speak the language read these important instructions? On top of it all, He was extremely rude & nasty and expected me to go to his car to get my order... I thought he might have realized he os in the DELIVERY BUSINESS! Grub Hub seems to have removed the option to complain... They must get a lot of them.
Tracked my order, watched the driver stop twice for 10 minutes each time, drive about 10 minutes away, came 40 minutes late. Food was ice cold
Once your food is ordered a driver can claim the delivery. Then they are free to wheel around town making many stops prior to delivering your COLD NASTY food. WASTE OF MONEY!
I've placed 2 orders using GrubHub and 2 I had issues with. First order all went well, then a week later I see a charge from GrubHub. I checked to make sure it did not post late, it did not. This was a second charge that I never made. Then this week I placed another order thru the restaurant website, they use GrubHub. I called the restaurant, they never received the order. I drove there, placed a new order, paid for it. Then I see a charge from GrubHub on my card. I contacted GrubHub to dispute and ask for a refund. They refused. I had to place another dispute. I will NEVER use this company again, even though it means I'll drive to pick up orders myself. It's not worth it.
My order keeps getting refunded due to an error in processing. Whenever I try to contact customer service for help they keep saying the same unhelpful thing: wait for the investigation team to review your account and until then, you are unable to place an order. What is the point of a food delivery app if I am unable to place an order? After TWO WEEKS, this issue is fixed. However, after a while, this issue arises again. This is honestly the worst food delivery app, or honestly any service company in general.
I order from them every now and then because they send so many coupons. The problem is drivers multiapping. I understand why many do it (base pay is too low) but even on well-tipped orders ($5 min/$2 per mile), some drivers will run all over the town while your meal sits in their car for 30+ minutes when you're 5 minutes away from the restaurant. This happens nine out of ten times. Doesn't matter if the order is ready right when the driver arrives at the restaurant or not. I'm aware some places have started to confirm orders when the driver accepts the offer so it's understandable they will multiapp while waiting to pick up the food but not after they have it and certainly not going in a different direction! There are just too many drivers that are terrible at multi-apping but can get away with it on this platform because there is no rating system.
I used GrubHub's chat feature to ask if I could order from out of state and was assured that I could.
But nope, putting my son's address into the app still gave me local restaurants in my state. I called them and was told to try their website instead. I told them I'd be paying from one state and ordering from another. They said, "No problem!"
I carefully ordered a long list of items for his large family, to be delivered at a specified time, entered all my credit card info, gave them specific instructions on where to leave the food and gave the the driver a nice tip.
Then when I hit "Place Your Order", it was declined. I called their Customer Care number and was told there was "suspicious activity on your account from another state and you are now blocked from ordering for 48 hours." In addition, they DID charge my credit card, and say it will refund it in 5-7 business days.
I will tell everyone I know what a disaster this place is. Never again.

This has never happened to me with Doordash. No notification or picture of food delivery. Half of my food order was missing. No answer when I called driver. I texted immediately about my order. I was told through text to let customer service know so they can issue refund. There is no customer service on their app or phone number so I called the restaurant. Manager got on the phone and said that he prepared my order and know that my order was fulfilled. I told him driver's name who was supposed to pick up my order. Manager said a woman picked up my food order (not a male) and believes that driver took half of my food order. This food delivery service is the worst! I will not order from Grubhub again.
Never use Grubhub! Worst customer service and try's to rip you off in anyway possible. They literally should not even exist they are a scam company.
Last two orders have been severley lat and cold! Customer service in different conutry and had no responsibility. Done with out sourcing customer service etc. Bye grubhub!
I was done with Grubhub long ago bc they are a trash company that hires trash drivers and everything is always SO LATE, but i digress. My account was hacked bc i still had my paypal attached, and someone made a fraudulent order on my account for $85 worth of food. Let me note, i live in Philadelphia, PA and the order was made and delivered to Los Angeles, CA. I called/chatted 15+ times only to get the same bull$#*! answer of "we escalated your case, please wait to hear back from us in 24-48 hours" It has now been a week. I still dont have a refund. I spoke with a supervisor who was basically USELESS, telling me i need to wait for the legal dept to finish their investigation. What a $#*!ing joke. $#*! GRUBHUB
What is it with Grub Hub drivers? In the past year I haven't had one easy Grub Hub experience. The drivers have taken 2 hours to arrive (admitting they are waiting for more orders) and my food was cold and soggy because of it, had me walk blocks away from the drop off location because they didn't want to drive down a street (I even had to leave work), had rude customer service, and when I call Grub Hub customer service they are completely unsympathetic... All for double the price of just going to the restaurant. Not worth it.
