Grub hub messed my $70 order up. I was supposed to be refunded but Grubhub gave me the run around and utilmarely I never got my refund. They lied and acted like they gave a refund but on my banks end they had to proof of a refund at all. They will mess your order up and KEEP YOUR MONEY! So $#*!ed up! DONT USE GRUBHUB
Had a baby in January. Cancelled our account, deleted the app. They continued to charge us. They refuse to give us a refund, because of their apps malfunction. We haven't ordered since Jan, and we will never order again. I recommend ubereats.
I usually use Doordarshan but for some reason whataburger was not available on there. So I used grubhub. Absolutely worst idea ever. Way more pricey it took them an hour and a half my food was cold. My drink was missing I asked for condiments had none. NEVER AGAIN
Yes you get the convenience of having your food delivered but the prices and fees are outrageously asinine. Absolutely not worth it. Won't ever use Grub Hub again.
I ordered from from one restaurant and got food from a completely different restaurant. How does that happen? Items I recieved are not even on the menu from the restaurant I ordered from. They have gotten my last 4 orders wrong. This time not even from the right place. I will not be ordering through them ever again. Especially since I told them what happened and got a partial refund. Wrong food items, wrong place, partial refund. Zero rating was not an option unfortunately.
I dis like how if you stay on a busy street they don't knock on your door they just leave your food on the front where anybody can pick it up and go
I've always had a positive experience with Grub Hub. The drivers and customer service agents are professional and the food is always delivered in a timely manner.
FOOD IS ALWAYS LATE AND COLD. YOUNG DRIVERS WHO HAVE NO IDEA WHERE THEY ARE GOING. THIS HAS HAPPENED MULTIPLE TIMES NOT JUST ONCE.
Make sure you double check the location that they give you, even once you put your address in. They had me put in an order for somewhere that was 2 hours and 30 minutes away. It never showed the town or state, which it was in a completely different state. I tried to get a refund and they wouldn't give it to me, also the guy I was speaking with couldn't even tell me why it would show up on my grub hub since it was so far away. I will never be using this business again, and I would advise you to double check locations before you order your food. Even if you have put in your location. They will not help you at all.
I was told I'd get "free grub". They sent me a ten dollar coupon. When was the last time any meal cost ten dollars.
These people are scam artists. They don't deserve your money,.
When you're not directly responsible for anything your business actually does, what pressure do you have to do anything well? GrubHub is a shining example of this, being easily the least reliable, most commonly refunded delivery app I have used. Restaurants would do well to consider using any other delivery methods available considering how may times they've gotten ripped by this website, too, as I know people who flippantly use it to get refunds when the issues they experienced were not significant enough to warrant this.
I hadn't personally used Grubhub in about a year and they new it because they emailed me a $15 off coupon. I felt lazy today and clicked the link, which told me it would apply at checkout. I put in my order and was at a page with my total that once again said it would apply the coupon at checkout. I clicked checkout and wouldn't you know it didn't apply the coupon! I immediately cancelled my order as their system does not allow you to retroactively apply coupons (ridiculously absurd in this context) and decided I'd just get takeout from the restaurant myself. This saves me money even if the coupon had worked and the restaurant will get all the money rather than having a third party leech their profits.
Absolute joke of an app and company but when you aren't obligated to be anything more than that and you're making bank why try harder? Safe to assume they never will.
Odd additional note but apparently their order history doesn't go back much more than a year! Would love to see and show the massive amount of refunds I got in 2020 but perhaps they're hiding their shame.
By far the worst delivery experience I have had. Waited an hour for my delivery, then I see him going the wrong way on your app. I call him, and he tells me where he is going which is not my home. I told him over and over where to go, so he wanted me to text the address. I did so, and instead of responding, he simply cancels my order and will not get back with me. Bad business. It will mean nothing to your company, but you have certainly lost my business.
U don't get ur food! It's either "thrown away" at an "unknown location"? Or stolen! All them discounts only for 1 purchase u can keep. DOORDASH BETTER
Very disappointed with the customer support system! They told me that it was the restaurant's responsibility to make sure that the driver does not deliver the wrong food/mix up orders when all they could do is give the food to the driver (the restaurant even stapled the order items onto the bag). Grubhub should be the one who makes sure that stuff like this doesn't happen and they refused to give the restaurant a refund although it was not their fault
Customer service is lacking severely. I had one refund because I placed a duplicate order in one sitting and they called that unusual activity. When the driver didn't deliver an order the next time they said it was unusual activity and they could not refund my money because the system would not allow them to. The supervisor said that they could not transfer me to anybody else they had not the capability to do that. Worst customer service situation ever worse service of anything I've ever experienced in my life they should be run out of business

I've ordered from Grubhub numerous times and they consistently forget a part of my order. Not only do they not bring everything but all they can do is refund you money. They won't even try to help and get the missing part of your order. It is very inconvenient and not a trustworthy food delivery source. If you want to deal with customer service all the time and never get the correct order then Grubhub is for you!
