I tried to place an order and received a message that there was an unexpected error, to try again. After trying multiple times I decided to call them. The agent said the account was shut down for review, to try back is a few days and I should be able to order. The message couldn't have just said that instead of me waisting my time trying to get an order thru? I asked what triggered the review and the agent couldn't tell me. They shut down my account and couldn't say anything but sorry for the inconvenience, I would be upset too. Good-bye GrubHub. App deleted
Zero stars. Horrible service. Horribly expensive. Delivery fees regularly double the total cost of the order. Good luck trying to ask for even the simplest alteration to your order. You'll struggle to get extra ketchup on a $40 order.

There is a great sandwich place down the road from me that serves amazing Chicken sandwiches on Chibatta bread. The sandwich typically runs about $8. I received a Grubhub gift card from my work, so I thought I would grab a couple of these sandwishes for my wife and I for lunch. After adding two price increased sandwiches, service fees, delivery fees, and driver tip, my new total came to over $33, more than double the cost.
I get that I'm paying for a service, but this place is literally 3 miles down the road. Anyway, I used the service to use the gift card, but will never use the service again.
I'm a really good tipper, but that's about to change really quick, I'm probably about to stop using GrubHub all together. Every single time I place an order, every single time, it never fails, the drivers always forget my drink, always! And please tell me, what is the point of having a special instructions prompt for me to type in specific instructions so the drivers can easily get to my house if they never even read the instructions? Every driver I have had that surprisingly gets lost, calls me and asks me where I'm at, and I asked them did you read the special instructions? And they always tell me they never read those. So I always end up having to walk in the middle of the street to meet the driver to get my order literally right next door to my house. It takes 2 seconds to look at the special instructions and see where to go. I thought I made it pretty easy. The few drivers that do take the time to read the instructions, have found my house with no problems. How hard is it to check to make sure someone has a drink? Why won't you read the special instructions? I'm done. Not using it anymore. I'll order delivery directly from the restaurants that deliver. When I asked the driver, where is my drink, he looked at me and said I don't know. What?!? You don't know? And then the drivers wonder why people aren't tipping well anymore. Because we can't trust you to do your job.
I've only used grub hub twice and each time was a disaster. The delivery person got confused - would not answer a phone call or a text and never called ne either. I will never order from them again.
Grubhub charges your card before confirming if the restaraunt is open our closed. Then text and informed me that my money wouldnt.be refunded. For 3 to 5 business days. This organization is more like a scam than a service. I called the restaraunt personally and no one answered or call back
When u have issues with food quality grub hub support shows no concerns and always blames they cannot provide compensation at this time and does a case by case review. Never will I waste my time or money with grub hub.
I had to order from Grubhub a few times before learning it's never a good idea. One time it told me my order was confirmed and that they were making it, but the restaurant was PERMANENTLY CLOSED! It wasn't until 30 minutes after my expected delivery time with no update that I called the restaurant and went on Google to realize it wasn't even open.
Another time I was sick at home and ordered food from a restaurant 5 minutes away from my house. It took almost two hours to get my food because the driver would drive 20 min to the restaurant, sit there for 5 minutes, and then cancel. This happened over and over with 3 different drivers until finally the last one actually stuck around and didn't cancel on me. Why were they cancelling? I don't know. GrubHub customer service couldn't give me an answer. They did give me a $15 coupon but it expired in just a month. I didn't even use it.
GrubHub tends to be the least expensive option when compared to DoorDash, Uber Eats, Seamless, etc. But I PROMISE the few dollars you're saving are NEVER worth the inconvenience.
Ordered only three items from Taco Bell not even 10 minutes have gone this delivery driver lies over the phone saying restaurant is closed. Which is an horrendous lie because it's only 8pm then 3 minutes later I get a call from grubhub support sticking with this same lie both driver and support didn't know I was in that area watching this driver lie his $#*! off. Terrible service disgusted with grubhub find better drivers and support staff!

I ordered $40 of food through grubhub. After an HOUR of no progress, grubhub calls to tell me they are refunding my order and that it was canceled. Problem is, they didn't refund it. I was left with no money, no food, and no way to tell them to give me credit. They STOLE from me and I have no way of recovering without a lawyer. I'm done with them.
My problem is that the restaurant that I ordered from was closed, but that was not on the website from Grub Hub. They called to let me know after I went to pick up my food, that something went wrong with my order, so they are going to refund my money, but IT'S GOING TO BE 3 TO 5 DAYS!
Don't waste your time every order will be screwed up they are quick to take your money but good luck getting what your supposed to We just tried using them again and of course they screwed up while my family waited on breakfast we get a message food delivered yayy unfortunately it was delivered to a different address but it's ok they issued me credit I will get in 5 days my family was able to curb their hunger because of that amazing news
Failed to deliver my order twice in one week - even though I gave them turn by turn directions in the details section. Their remedy: 15% off next order. So like an idiot I ordered again... guess what? No deliver - and to put icing on the cake, the driver actually hung up on me when I tried to explain to him that he obviously dropped order at wrong address. Customer service even less helpful. Kept saying they'd give me another 15% off my next order. Are you kidding me? Door Dash - here I come!
They take forever to help with any type of Grubhub driver help. I've been told to wait 24-72 hours for about a month for a request. I've called every 2 days to check the status of my request but have been given the run around. I hate them and hope they go out of business for not taking driver request and safety seriously.
Not only did the driver lie, the overseas call center lied. According to the restaurant, the driver walked off because he did not want to show the restaurant his cell phone to correct the order.
I sat in the front of the window at my house on Sunday waiting for my order from quoba. The order was late. So I contacted Grubhub customer service and they said that the driver confirmed the delivery. I told them that I didn't see the car coming up on my driveway. The order was not delivered. The driver lied. I won't order from Grubhub anymore.
I'm tired of drivers stealing my stuff I buy. I ordered on order and yet again I'm missing all my drinks and a meal. This is not the restaurants fault at all!
Grub hub is the very rudest company out their. They keep texting and calling the wrong number. Customer service refuses to stop and says that they can't flag the account for the correct number. They don't want to listen so they just hang up on you. We currently had to call and file harassment charges.
Grubhub once more a disaster. Watched on app as driver made multiple pickups and stops, resulting in my meal being delivered cold and very late. Grubhub customer service solution is credit toward future meal. I'd rather take back my tip and delivery fee! Guess I'm a DoorDash customer now.
Answer: I travel for a living and have experienced the lousy service that is Grub Hub. From Philadelphia PA to Shreveport LA and multiple other cities THIS SERVICE SUCKS. There's nothing good to say about it.
