Too little too late

I ordered food not knowing it would take over an hour to be made and delivered. 5 minutes after my order should of arrived I contact GrubHub ( it's 9:15 by time this happens I ordered at 7:35) they tell me that the restaurant most of been closed because they never received my order... I ordered at 7:35. Since when does a restaurant close that early? So they wanted to make an excuse for it and then gave me $5 off my next order. Keep in mind it's 9:30 and I have not eaten. So now I guess my family and I will go get fast food or something. Next time I will use UberEATS like I should of to begin with.

WORST SERVICE EVER!

It was my first time using foodler. I placed my order online and received an email receipt that my order would be delivered by 7:00 PM. At 7:15 I called to check on my order and they said that they had to cancel the order due to billing issues. They said that they did not and could not notify me in case it was a fraudulent order. Then they told me that i would have to contact the billing department to straighten everything out. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!

I proceeded to call the restaurant i ordered from to see if they had any other delivery options, while on the p hone with them i mentioned my experience with foodler. Just so happens that the food i ordered was ready and waiting for pickup for the last hour. The delivery person never picked it up so it was a lose lose for me and the resturant that prepared the $45 worth of food.

Do not ever try this service if you are expecting to receive your food

Lousy customer service.

I was not advised that the provider could not fill my complete order. When I called grubhub they seemed surprised that I hadn't accepted the incomplete order only wanting to refund for the item that was not available.

This is the FIRST and LAST time I'll utilize this service and I will NOT recommend them to anyone.

Cheapest people ever

Had a 15 dollar order that was 1.5 hours late and cold. All they did was waive the tip and delivery charge. Couldn't even comp a $15 order that was extremely messed up? Never again

Grub hub is a big dud

Ordered food at 7 pm. It is going on 10 and i am still waiting. Food was tracked being made at 712 so now im about to eat my dinner which has been sitting for 2.5 hours. What a joke.

So basically my boyfriend didn't get to eat a first meal of the day before going to work in Escondido (live in Temecula) and unfortunately I had to be picking someone up from the Ontario airport during the time of his dinner break. So what I did was go online and look for places delivering near him. So I set up a delivery for a later time of 8:30pm, making the order official at 4pm by the way...
8:35pm and my boyfriend says they're not there... I look at my email to see my order tracking and it's telling me that it will be there as early as 9:18pm and as late at 9:28pm! I'm sorry but is that anywhere near 8:30pm? No!
I called grubhub right away and said what's the deal? I made this WAY ahead of time. And the woman apologized for the trouble, she will call the driver to see where he is. She gets back on the line to tell me, yes the driver is going to be there in about 15min, I look at the clock and it says 8:40pm... I remind her how this is my boyfriend's 30 min whimpy lunch break and he won't be able to come get the food. She says she'd be able to get me the food for free and give me my money back. So I said ok thank you I'll take it.
Yes she fixed my problem, thank you, but guess what happened, my boyfriend didn't get my message saying the food will be free so take it, he turned the guy away when he finally showed up and he's too busy with patients now to go get food. Apparently the delivery guy didn't say anything about the order being free either... I was EXTREMELY upset about the whole freaking situation. FIRST time user of grub hub! Sucked

Never got my food!

I placed an order online. I was given a delivery time of 9:23-9: 33.at 9:40 I received a call from the driver that he was just then on the way to get the food! At 9:56 I received a call saying my order had been sitting there for a while and they had tossed it out and now they were closed! This was my first time ordering with them and will be my last!

Don't Bother

This company is unbelievable! Their website 'offers' Pay Pal, but then it doesn't work. They offer credit/debit card payment - same problem. It tells you that 'a menu item you ordered is no longer available' but won't say which item is the problem. After 30 minutes of trying to order, I searched - and searched - and searched - and finally found a 'customer care' number where the person's idea of 'help' was to be exceptionally condescending and then tell me to 'use another browser' without even knowing what browser(s) I had already used. So I wrote to the company and after a trite apology, they said their site was working and recommended that I contact Pay Pal since it was 'obviously' their problem. They also said I should use another browser. They are rude, incompetent and unhelpful. I have the top used browsers on the internet - Explorer, Chrome and Firefox. My histories and cookies are deleted every time I close the browser. The problem is THEM and their attitude. Don't waste your time or your money of this useless company. Put them out of business so someone reputable can take over.

This is the third time I've used Grubhub. This is the second time my order never came. The other time the order was 35 minutes late. There are too many other food service delivery options to keep dealing with this.

I ordered food from Thai Kitchen 4 in Southington CT via Grub Hub on 2/23/2017. Today, 2/28/2017, my wife found an odd charge of $7.17 from La Quinta Inn in Vermont with a restaurant category. I then reviewed our account and found another charge of $1.00 from Square*SQ*Lori Bar out of Pennsylvania also a restaurant category! I reviewed Grub Hub online and found they actually had a Class Action lawsuit against them in 2011 for fraudulent charges! This is unreal! DO NOT ORDER FROM GRUB HUB EVER!

This was a terrible experience. I can't give it zero stars so they get the 1 star by default. After waiting for 2 hours for a VERY expensive meal, one of the entrees was missing. That's someone's entire dinner. We were unable to get the restaurant on the phone and could only leave a message. The delivery person came back with another appetizer and still no second entrée. So 3 hours later, no dinner for someone and it's almost 930pm. The food was barely warm and the cheese sticks were hard and not even close to melted. The food is $20 per entrée. We shared the one entrée that showed up but it was a pretty small portion for the price. We ordered an appetizer and 2 desserts as well. So for close to $100 bucks we get a portion of what we ordered at room temperature (after two trips by the delivery person) and 3 hours later still a missing entrée but tons of cheese sticks. Oh, and the dipping sauce for the cheese sticks came with the second delivery attempt an hour afterwards. We also called the "manager" at GrubHub. It sounded like we woke him up! He answered by saying "hello" and for a minute we thought we dialed the wrong number. Zero help here. After this both this restaurant AND Grubhub are off our shopping list for good.

I ordered my food and it said it was sent to the restaurant and was being prepared, an hour goes by and I received a call from a very rude amd unprofessional employee saying well the restaurant is closed so you aren't getting your food. Worst customer service I've received, food has been cold in the past as well. Would not recommend to ANYONE

Forget about this site

THIS REVIEW IS FOR THE DESKTOP SUPPORT TEAM. So I placed my order, unbeknownst to me that I wasn't placing it directly with the restaurant. Anyway, I signed up and filled out all the required/applicable information--including my FULL address. I capitalize 'full' because I live in an apartment. (Keep in mind that I'm at work, ordering this food for my husband and child who are both home.) I fulfill the order and was satisfied that it all looked great. I go to my meeting that lasted an hour and get back to my desk with my personal cell phone and find 10 missed calls and 2 texts. (I give them credit for trying to reach out to me.) The food ended up not being delivered because there was no apartment number attached to my address. I quickly jump online and go to my settings--apartment number is missing. I then edit my address and submit with the apartment number and save---apartment number is missing once again. I then try alternative methods of adding the number to my address. Meanwhile the eat 24 rep is telling me that the driver is back at the restaurant with the food. They can go out and re-deliver, but the food is cold. Ummm, no thanks. DESKTOP IS TEAM--get on it--this is not OK

Grubhub is the WORST
February 22, 2017

This is my final time ordering from Grubhub. I placed my order at 7:33 PM tonight, and my food is set to arrive at 10:00 PM. Original quoted delivery time was between 8:18 and 8:28, but it kept getting moved back. Part of this order is for my kids, who have school in the morning and are now up past their bedtime so they can get something to eat. Grubhub has burned me similarly in the past, but like I said, this is the last time.

I had mistakenly thought that late deliveries were most frequently the fault of restaurants giving unrealistic times or misplacing my order in a stack of others. However, I just learned that the restaurant I ordered from (and had several poor reviews for delivery time) had the food ready for delivery 30 minutes after the order was placed. The GrubHub driver would not be able to pick up the order for an hour and a half after it was ready. If I hadn't called the restaurant, I would have blamed it on them, when really it was poor organization of GrubHub. Cancelling the order only hurt the restaurant, but getting delivery of cold food and a melted shake could have led to an unwarranted poor review on an otherwise good establishment. They need to either ensure an adequate delivery force, adjust times to be realistic, or find a different approach to delivery. While I have never written a poor review on seamless/GrubHub, I have used other reviews as reasons not to order from places because of lateness/cold food... now I have to reassess it all.

When eat24 started out, their customer service was AMAZING. If you mentioned your drink was missing, they'd send you a coupon without you even having to ask. If you had a worse experience, they'd totally refund you, no questions asked. They were like the Macy's of food delivery. Well, this has apparently changed. Now they basically throw you to the wolves and tell you to call the restaurant yourself, and when you challenge them on this they reluctantly ask if you want a coupon. Why would I use a third party instead of ordering direct if the middle man can't even help me when my scheduled pickup makes me wait for half an hour? I will never use them again.
