Fraudulent organization, I Implore buyers not to do business with this particular organization. They are nothing like Amazon. Amazon is trustworthy, and caters to theIt clients. This particular group is fraudulent. Twice they took money from me without delivering the product. I put them in my spam folder and now their ads go straight to Spam. Thieves nothing but thieves!
Even though ok for Groupon to be late on delivery due to COVID 19 but ask for full refund on defective product one day After allotted 10 day return and told not possible. Don't order bamboo sheets. Waste of money and not as advertised. Throwing sheets out waste of 60 bucks
I've been waiting 3 days for Groupon to verify I didn't redeem a Groupon I purchased for duct cleaning. I bought this Groupon with a credit from another crazy Groupon. That lady wanted me to get a doctor's note in order to qualify for her massage! But not refunds at Groupon, only credits! So I use Groupon's credit to buy duct cleaning for my house instead, and when I go to schedule it, it's listed in my account as already redeemed. I would have thought a phone call could clear this up. How hard can it be to verify I've never contacted this business and they have never been to my house? But here I am waiting days. Looks like I threw good money after bad in buying this second more expensive groupon with the credit from my last deadbeat groupon. I now have trust issues with GROUPON, I trust you understand. Please make it right and right-quick please, Groupon!
I wish Groupon would let you know if the product being sold is being shipped from out of the country. It seems their clothes run so much smaller and you have a harder time getting your money back. Groupon should back you up when you the items sent were not what you ordered instead the seller has to decide if they want to give you your money back.
This will be my last time of ordering from them.
I placed an order for an electric toothbrush. I contacted Groupon after I did not receive it. They told me I would have it in a couple of days. After I did not receive it I contacted them again. They told me I could cancel my order and receive Groupon bucks. I told them that I was not interested in Groupon bucks but I wanted the toothbrush or my money back. I receive an email saying they were sorry that I was unhappy and that we got cut off so they had refunded my money in Groupon bucks. I have filed a complaint with the BBB and disputed the charge on my credit card.
This was my first and last time buying through Groupon. I ordered a sweater and got the wrong item, color, and size. I am not elegiable to receive my money back for some odd reason. I am 100% dissatisfied and I DO NOT recommend doing business with them.
I have ordered through Groupon in past but NEVER again... I had items in cart and before checking out and authorizing transaction, I had a PROMO code to apply, I input code in promo box area and clicked apply, nothing was applied, INSTEAD it charged my card that I used a year ago in which I did not authorize to have saved to my Groupon account. I feel this is scam, c'mon Groupon especially at time like this. PLUS there is no way I can reach anyone from your company due to this pandemic. So you have lost a customer indefinite.
They send you email promos about limited time deals -- then they reduce prices before you even get shipment. I bought an iPad for $249 and by the time I got it four days later it was $20 less... They are hype merchants with lousy service and a crappy return policy. It is impossible to reach customer service in a timely way, and they won't refund money on returns either... They only offer Groupon credit. Why would anybody buy from Groupon when other major retailers and resellers offer refunds and better customer service... I will never buy from them again.
$#*!ty website stay away special if you purchase something. They won't return your money even those you didn't get any services. If you want to wast your money and time go buy from them. They all fake deals
The customer service is horrible and rude. You only have customer support chat online. I purchased an iPhone it came all defective. They gave me a hard time about an exchange and made me jump through hoops. I sent the old one back with there label they issued me. They never sent a new one saying there was a discrepancy but charged me over $500. I've spoken to 8 different customer service reps and emailed the merchant support 3x. I'm out the money with no merchandise and they refuse to give a refund. Theyre still looking into it. I have the USPS tracking # that says it was returned but they said it's not scanned in so they can issue Groupon bucks. The behavior and lack of communication in this company is appalling. 10 weeks later still nothing. I attempt to contact them on a weekly basis.
I purchased a gift for a father's day gift. It was with Waterways Cruise for a dinner cruise. I scheduled as the coupon said. I received an email from the company saying they cannot open because they are having a problem with our port here in Seattle. They rescheduled for June 27. We're not going to need it then nor will I be in town. I contacted Groupon thinking oh they have common sense. I let them know I would not need it. June 6 is when I purchased the item. I asked for my money back. They said you are going to have bucks on your account. I'm NOT using y'all again and need mention the company cancelled, NOT ME. They would rather a negative report than give a customer rightfully their money back and fostering a good reputation. I WILL NEVER USE THEM AGAIN!
Got a coupon as a gift for a hair cut. Apparently, the coupon isn't even sold by the salon and is instead from an employee who hasn't worked there in two years, and it is them who get the money, not the company, they've tried to take it down but can't since they didn't post it. I can't get a return because the customer service page doesn't load no matter how I try and there is no number anywhere to call. Wish I could give 0 stars
Would neither extend the deadline nor reimburse me when a groupon expired during coronavirus. Not to mention the bar was closed by Cuomo during this time. HORRIBLE company. Takes advantage of their customers.
I purchased a bra deal yesterday. This morning I got several emails back to back saying order confirmation for the same deal, showing it had been purchased three more times. I immediately hit cancel [in the two hour window it says you have] got error message. Tried to cancel through the app, again, error message. Tried calling, number isn't accepting customer calls at this time. I got on their live chat and the woman said let me look it up, she then gave me a copy and paste response that it was a third party retailer and they'd call me in 48 hours and HUNG UP ON ME! This was their system that created this error and there is no way to contact their third party. I was SHOCKED at the customer service, how rude, cold and uninformative. Their system took money from my account and then created a loop hole preventing me from getting any help. Having over $100 taken from my account during covid when we're all unemployed and struggling is SHOCKING. I will NEVER use Groupon again, you have failed your customers and clients. And I have filed a report with the better business bureau.
I purchased a very straightforward, detailed offer for duct cleaning services. I called to schedule and the guy refused to honor the Groupon, completely rewriting the terms and tripling the cost. I called the company that he was supposedly affiliated with and the company indicated he had been fired many months prior and was using Groupon to drum up business for himself with a bait & switch type operation. I contacted Groupon, described the issue and requested a refund. Groupon stated they couldn't give a refund, jumbled some nonsensical stuff in there about COVID-19 and apologizing for the "inconvenience". I made it clear (again) this had nothing to do with COVID-19 and it wasn't an inconvenience, it was fraud. They were super sorry, but couldn't do anything about it other than issue a Groupon credit. NEVER USE GROUPON! This situation should never happen with any company. If you pay for something with clear terms, you should either get it or get your money back. This is a horrible horrible company.
Ordered from Groupon, Not delivered... even if goods were over 6 days "on delivery-truck" of Fedex... all hiding behind COVID... where the Virus had/has nothing to do with it...
Refund only possible in useless Groupon-Dollars. I am left without the bought goods (and of course. The supplier was just out and couldn't replace...), and Groupon-Bucks I don't want...
NO service, lots of excuses, and hiding behind COVID... totally irrelevant.
I love seeing the amazing deals that I can score. But when there is an uncontrollable emergency, this company ranks # 1 in being inconsiderate. While our world experience a pandemic, the citizens like myself have been restricted from non-essential travels. Due to the timeframe, Groupon refused to refund me. I requested a manager, two different customer service representatives informed me that there was no such. Eventually I reached out to the CEO, I then received a response from " a manager"! Wow, I was instructed by two reps via text chat that this was impossible. Eventually, the manager was able to give me credit which I accepted. There should have been consideration regarding this worldwide pandemic.
Canceled events, refuse to refund instead refunds with groupon bucks forcing you to buy merchandise from groupon site! Now have 160.00 Groupon bucks and most merchandise worthless.
I have not received my stuff its still in process mode....so I tried cancelling since it has not been shipped, no tracking number, noting...I was told that I could not get a refunded the way I paid, through my credit card. So they offered me only two options, Groupon bucks or they would order the product again free of charge?? HELLO, what the heck!!...She stated once it was shipped they could not refund payment, I asked for the tracking number and she could not give me one because there is not one YET!!! so why cant I get my money back!!! through so many back and forth chats, there is literally no options. So guess I will wait to see if I ever get my items. Once done, I am closing this Groupon BS account!! BEWARE of their deceptive practices
I am very empathetic towards businesses, given I am also a business owner & majored in business. However, groupon has gone to $h*t. They are difficult to reach. The front line people don't have permission to act accordingly and with autonomy to fix situations. Groupon could learn a thing or two on customer service from companies like Amazon, Marriott & Nordstrom, whom I would say have excellent customer service. I hope and expect Groupon to fail miserably during economic downturns. They are HORRIBLE to work with. They need some serious ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE & REFORM MANAGEMENT if they are to survive. Groupon, please fire your higher ups and reform the structure of your business. Your customer service is horrendous.
Answer: Yes, Groupon is legit. You need to read the fine print before ordering live event tickets- -they will not refund your money even if it's there fault. I only buy tickets for activities that don't expire or you can use the purchase price towards a non-Groupon service the vendor offers. Hope this helps.
Answer: Yes, report it but using social media is a very effective way to get a companies attention. Spread the word, Groupon does not honor returns!
Answer: I usually call the merchants I am interested in before buying the coupons, and ask them if the groupon coupons work, and how much more I have to pay. You could do the same, contact the merchants you are interested in and ask them how groupon works for them?
Answer: Groupon usually sends a tracking # via email If not do as the other people suggested, check My Groupons
Answer: I wish I could say why, but a solution might be to contact Call Curtis, or your local News station that helps with consumer issues. They always seem to get fast resolutions, because companies hate BAD TV PUBLICITY.
Answer: I personally do not trust groupon. The question previous to yours printed on this site should answer your question as to its reliaiblity
Answer: The one I took by Holly and Hugo at least were I would research the company before buying. Also about twice a year they put all their courses for $5! I got mine completed it and it helped boost my resume and I was able to get a vet assistant job pretty quickly compared to before where I only got a call back from about one place which didn't lead anywhere. :) hope I could help!
Answer: Well, it's not Ideeli anymore... it's been Ideel for about a year now I think. Yes, there is a customer support phone number. I've had nothing but good experiences from Ideel in all regards - product satisfaction, price, shipping, etc. - but I've never had to contact customer service so I don't know what you'll get, but they're phone number is (888) 835-1719.
Answer: They are the absolute worst about answering customer service complaints. They will lie, they literally told me customer service reps were out sick, thus no answer to my emails for about 2 weeks. But, don't loose hope, the DAY I posted a review on this site, they answered AND gave me a 25.00 credit for my trouble. So write a review on Site Jabber with all the details and a bet a manager will answer promptly. As this is their way, I NEVER ordered from the site again after at least 3 years of orders. Good Luck and don't leave a sordid detail out of your complaint.
