I have booked a trip with GOTOGATE in OCTOBER 2020, and I had to cancel and book another trip one day later. I AM STILL WAITING FOR MY REFUND, which I am entitled to, FIVE MONTHS AFTER GOTOGATE CONFIRMED THAT THEY ARE PROCESSING MY REFUND! The company claims that the refund claim is still pending with British Airways (BA), however, I cancelled another booking with BA in December, and received my refund within five days! Thus, I do not believe that BA needs that long to process my claim. GOTOGATE unethically and illegally claim that there is nothing they can do, as the claim is with BA. When I call BA and ask to get my refund, they tell me that this needs to be processed through GOTOGATE, as the company which did the booking for me (which is correct). BA state that they cannot access my booking refund claim from the private customer service. This makes sense to me. GOTOGATE are simply letting me down, and whilst my hands are tight and I cannot request my refund myself, they pretend not to be able to do anything more than what they have already done. Whenever I write to them, they copy and paste standard responses already provided, i. E. that they already escalated the matter. THIS HAS BEEN TAKING FIVE MONTHS! Trust me, you do not want to book with this unprofessional, unreliable, unethical company. Not if you like to get your money back, get things done fast and only want to deal with a customer service that knows what it is doing.
I have booked two flights with GotoGate for March 2020 that were cancelled due to Covid. Since then I haven't got my money back.
I don't know where my flight info is at.

Quick process. Cheap. Included the 2 checked bags that other sites would charge for.

The worst company ever please don't purchase any ticket from this company is the worst company ever to buy ticket.
I bought a ticket a year ago from Gotogate, but for an unseen event, I had to cancel my flight, I asked for a refund but they said they cannot refund my money back instead they gave me credit to travel with THEM again although it was my money which I had to have total control of it! Although I have paid for late cancellation and other features where they have a long list of promises ( but all chargeable!), yet they did not do as they say! All I have received was this answer: WE DON'T KNOW mum TALK TO THE AIRLINE YOU BOOKED YOUR FLIGHT WITH". To make you buy purchase, GOTOGATE promises protecting your flight, refund your unseen cancellations, APP check in, free customer guide, etc! But in reality this is all a cover up for their airline to sell tickets! They charged me £200 for cancel the flight for admin fees!?
Last but not least, the customer services is untrusted, sometimes you wait on the line for a good 1 hour, and sometimes they answer you after 5 minutes but not helpful.
The prices also are not reasonable compare to other airline agencies.
I will not travel by them again and recommend to avoid it at any costs!

I had a flight to Canada booked for March 21st on Porter airlines. Porter has cancelled that flight due to COVID-19. I called Gotogate, and they claimed that it had not been cancelled, despite the fact that I was literally looking at the statement online. A quick Google search would have confirmed that I was correct.
They said I had to call Porter directly to get 'authorization', so I did. Porter, of course, told me that the travel agent needed to contact them directly and there was nothing they could do. So I called Gotogate back (each of these calls, of course, took a very long time.) Again, they claimed that my ticket was non-refundable, DESPITE THE FLIGHT BEING CANCELLED. I remained polite (I am Canadian, after all), but the agent became very aggressive and began talking over me and yelling. They again tried to tell me I needed to call Porter. When I told them that I had ALREADY called Porter, the lady again got very surly. Now I'm on hold with Visa to get the charge removed as fraud.
I sincerely hope that Gotogate goes out of business. During a global pandemic they made it impossible to obtain a refund to a cancelled flight. Even had the flight not been cancelled, THE BORDER IS CLOSED! I cannot cross the border! None of this logic seemed to be of any consequence to anyone I spoke to at Gotogate.

I request the airlines to ban them from spoiling thier customer case.
My flight was canceled due to covid and I'm still waiting for my refund since May 2020! Stay away! Customer service is a joke
They make so many mistakes, and then they hold your money and charge fees even though it was their mistake.
