The flight cancelled one day before and they didn't help me. They demanded from me i pay extra 30 euros so they may change my ticket for another day

Worst travel agency ever, Have to wait on a queue more than a couple of hours every time before they can pick up the phone and they charged the price difference between normal fare and rebooking fare.

I purchased Virgin flexi ticket (no cost for rebooking) through Gotogate and I had to reschedule it due to COVID pandemic. After I called them to rebook another date, they said that I have to pay a $972 fare difference plus $55 admin fee, so I asked them how much is the price per ticket (I purchased 4) they told me $489 and when I went to THEIR website and put the exact same flight (destination, time, airline) it was $390. When I tried to talk to the guy why there is the difference between the price they charged and the price shown on THEIR Website. The guy got very rude and defensive and told me there is a price difference between normal fare and rebooking fare so I asked him where I can see the rebooking fare so that I could make sure i was not been overcharged. He said he only could see the price on their system and there is no other place I could check for it.
I called Virgin Airline after hanged up with Gotogate to find out if Virgin charges any price difference or fees on rebooking. The Virgin customer service replied me that there is no any fee involved during my rebooking based on my fare type.
Gotogate is a complete scammer, Completed ripped off! Why don't any airlines company, government agency take action against them.

My frustration with the lack of quality and the level of unprofessional behavior showed by gotogate.com call center agents is almost impossible to describe by email.
Following my latest telephone conversation with a gotogate phone agent, I believe his name was Micheal, it has become evident that I have been lied to the entire day.
I have been following up and chasing multiple times today about a way to contact somebody with a minimum expected level of customer service and professionalism, however, my expectation has been disappointed at every step.
I have requested multiple times for a call back from a person in charge of the call center to express my disgust with your practices and operational procedure, and despite having been reassured that "a call from a supervisor will follow within 30 minutes", I'm yet to be contacted by a capable individual.
In addition, it was to my surprise to understand that despite having requested for a refund on the 30th Aug, the request has reached the airline only on the 4th of September (5 days later).
I expect to be contacted via phone at the earliest and furthermore expect not to have to repeat my experience.
As I have mentioned previously, I will no longer accept any apologies or empathy, I want prompt solutions and end my dealing with your organization at the earliest."
Needless to say that the email address I was provided by the call center agent is another scam.
I have just received an auto-reply telling me the my "request via email cannot be processed and to call the call center".

Almost impossible to contact them if you have a concern or any questions that need to be addressed. Will never use them again.
Even if you do not use their customer service for cancelling, they will charge you huge service fee and hold your money until you agree to their fees
I love the process of booking, very simple and easy.
Booked a flight with gotogate and had multiple problems:
1. Purchased travel insurance via the gotogate platform, but they didn't give me the insurance number. Contacted their support team and the lady in the other side was the least helpful possible, even sounded like she was doing me a favor. Not to mention she gave me the wrong email to contact the insurance company.
2. On the way back had a connection flight with easyjet and had to purchase extra hand lugage. Now, because gotogate books flights in a stupid way, they assign the easyjet reservation with an email I don't have access to (diogo.raposo1(at)booktripairlines.com) nor can I use to login to easyjet. Now I need the invoice for that luggage that was sent to the above email. Contacted their support and once more they couldn't have been of least help, refusing to listen to my explanation.
Highly disadvise that any reservations are done via gotogate as not even their support team seems to be internally hired. Just some random people following scripts that could easily just a be a robot.
I scheduled a trip in May to go to Vegas this weekend. Last week, I couldn't recall if I had scheduled a trip because I had no emails and when I logged onto the Allegiant site, only my trip in December was showing (I did NOT make the trip in December through these gate keepers). Funny that. I kept running searches in my inbox for allegiant and nothing showed up... just the trip in December. I found a text from gogatego or whatever they call themselves and got the first trip cancelled. Sounds easy but it wasn't. I had to dig through crap trying to find a confirmation number. GoGator says they can cancel but they refused when I asked. They also said that they saw this flight info on Allegiant's site.
Yeah, well, I have a screen shot that says otherwise. Since I received no emails from them, it was no wonder I couldn't remember if I had booked a trip through them. No matter, I won't be doing the Gate people anymore. Because of my faulty memory, I don't get a refund so I hope the Pearly Gates and Allegiant enjoy the money that should have been reimbursed to me. Lesson learned... GoToThatTheirGate sucks with their communication skills. They should take that money and teach English to their employees.

Answer: Passengers' money is too little, who cares. Even if you were cheated, as an individual passengers, you won't shake the whole tree. They want your money, nothing else, like a pirate or thief.
