When you go to cancel a flight, they tell you the amount they will refund, but not the difference between the refund amount and the original price. Thereby making it very easy to cancel and have to pay a cancellation fee instead of simply transferring flights. This is very unfair given the amounts of money involved, and is clearly a way to make antsy planners (like myself) pay extraneous cancellation fees. A very dishonest practice. I lost $300 due to the above. DO NOT use GoToGate if you can avoid them.
It's a big scum company dont ever buy a ticket from them you will have loads of problem in airport at the counter.
I bought extra 15 kg laggage on my ticket. When I went to airport to the counter they said your 15 kg is not added to turkish airline system they said contact the travel agency I was calling those scummers for half
Hour no one pickup I was getting late and I threw all my gifts and items in the Bin they said at the counter you have to pat 250 pounds more if you want to take this luggage.
So my advice never ever even don't think about buying a ticket from this Scum gotogate Company.
This company is an absolute disgrace. I have requested a refund as Air Canada have cancelled my flights. I have to go through GoToGate as I booked my flight through them but they are charging £30 to request a refund even though the flights have been cancelled by the airline. They can give me no idea when I will get a refund and were extremely unhelpful when I challenged them on this cost. These are difficult times and this company is making money from other peoples distress. I will never use this company again and if I could have given them 0 stars I would.

My father was order a ticket from them and the website shows that the credit card not pass,
So he tried another card, and now he paid twice for the same flight!
It's really unable to reach them not by mail and not by phone.
After 25 minutes, someone answer my call, and said that it's not refundable and he didn't received our mails.
More than this, while I tried to talk with this agent named Aninda, he was put me on waiting music while I was talk, and just didn't come back to the conversation, after again long minutes of hoping, I hang up!

Horrible company. Book direct with operators if possible. I booked and paid for an internal flight within the UK. When I arrived at check-in the ticket wasn't valid and had to buy another ticket in the airport. Customer support told me that my order number wasn't valid and failed to respond or refund my payment. £200 down the drain, absolute crooks
Gotogate take your money and then pass you off to the airline for any complications. The airline can't help because the booking is not through them.
But my review is even more serious than that! They cancelled my return flight without telling me - not the airline - Gotogate themselves cancelled my flight due to an administration error at their end! So, I paid again at the airport to fly back on the same flight I was originally booked on and then waited four months for Gotogate to resolve it.
They didn't.
So, I took them to court - and won.
Use them at your own peril.
Definitely a fraudulent company. Accepted money, tickets never sent, every time I call they say they are still processing my refund - it's been 5 months. DO NOT PURCHASE. Read previous reviews, this is not a legitimate business, Pay that bit extra for a reputable company or book direct with airline. These are a fraud.
No sense of behaviour with Customer. This company should hire good people or better to close the company. They don't know the correct rules and regulations and bring their own rules. Waited for 1.5 hrs on call and got my life's worst experience with Customer care. They don't have basic sense while talking with Customer. Agent named Deepak is a crap behaviour and it was an argumentative call. Regret booking here.

Eventually, I received an email stating that my flight had been canceled by the airline. I called customer service multiple times, spending hours on the phone trying to resolve the issue. After paying for your ticket, you have to pay for your seats, too! I clicked "no" for all for-a-fee additions, so I have no idea what this travel experience will be like.
Do not ever to think to buy any tickets from this company you will loose your money it happens with me so I want warning everyone to not to use this scammer please safe yourself and your money.

Stay a way please.
I booked a flexible flight so I could change the day of my return: turns out (after 20 minutes of waiting on the phone and 20 minutes of the woman telling me "Oh, sorry, give me more time there's a technical problem" obviously buying herself time, thinking I'll hang up) they wanted me to pay £185 on top of the initial price just to let me change the booking. Although when I called the company directly they said I didn't have a flexible ticket and would have to pay the supplement again to make it flexible! Massive scam, they obviously book the cheapest price thinking you won't notice so they can have more of your money. Don't book through them.
AVOID AT ALL COST!
I am not even complaining about the lack of service during and prior to my travel with them, this is about my refund that have been due for over two months now. Not even a single line of correspondence during that time.
When you email them, the standard response is that right now they have a longer than usual response time, and that is it, no further communication for months unless you email them.
Not too mention that their customer service on the phone is completely unhelpful, usually spending about 30-45min on the phone with literally no better or different outcome than prior to the phone call.
I will keep putting up this review on as many sites as possible.
The only reason why I'm giving this a 1 star is because I can't give 0 stars. They have put me through the wringer on this one. I tried to search flights via google and I'm ashamed for them directing me to Gotogate for my flight. Yeah, it might be a cheap flight but you get cheap service too. It's not worth it. The airline cancelled my return flight and since their system doesn't show it being cancelled I had to call the airlines back to be directed back to gotogate. I was on hold for a total of 4 HOURS and got no where. My flight leaves tomorrow and after the flight passes and they have no confirmation that it was cancelled then I am marked as a no show and can't not receive a refund... so I'm to go to the gate and show up even though it's cancelled?! Just book direct with the airlines, even if it's a few more bucks, I wouldn't wish this experience on my worst enemy.
It only took me 2-3 minutes to book my flight after google found me the cheapest fare. Super easy!
Horrible! I cannot get a refund on a flight that was cancelled by the airline because supposedly they cant contact the airline to confirm. It has been 2 months and they are refusing to refund my cancelled flight. I contacted the airline multiple times meanwhile and was able to get a waiver code and emails for this company staff to contact. I did this a month and a half ago. Still nothing. Cannot reach a supervisor, and always am told that my request is "escalated" but nothing gets done. I am always told that someone will email or call within 24 hours. Been told that about 8-10 times, ZERO calls or emails.

We understand that in the pandemic situation there are cancellations and changes, but that GOTO GATE sends us an email within hours of taking a flight, that the flight has been cancelled, when we have been able to take the flight perfectly to the destination, leaves much to be desired. They did not have updates from the airline
Luckily we ignored that outdated email, and were able to fly home after 3 long years. Improve!
These people were extremely unhelpful. The trip ended up costing me $200-300 more than if I had used a quality company because I had to buy a last minute ticket due to their incompentance/lack of support.
