GoPro used to be good but lately they will not support their own cameras. Just look at the people complaining about not being able to like to an Android 12 phone! When I contacted them about this they just said to buy another one. What? Why would anyone ever buy another GoPro product with an attitude like that? How could anyone ever trust a GoPro product again?
GoPro has quite the scam going on. Apparently you buy a go pro and automatically get signed up for the subscription. A year later, they charge you a renewal fee that they refuse to refund. Be warned. Extremely disappointed. I've never used the subcription - didn't even know I had it!
The absolute evil/worst out there. Almost 2 months, the money gone, the package lost, the costumer service the worst of all. Id rather die then ever looking back at the worst capital corporate gopro. Get a way from this miserable empire
I purchased the hero 9 and the subscription service as a safeguard. Within 9 months it developed faults and stopped working altogether.
I spent several hours over two weeks attempting to seek help form their customer services. I experienced people not getting back to me when promised. When they did they would ring for two seconds and ring off and record that on their system as attempted to call the customer.
In brief if you have issues you will not resolve them quickly, it will take numerous attempts to resolve the issue, long waits in their chat system, unreliable call back system.
I am still waiting for a replacement also an email re compensation from 13th Sept, I dont hold any hope.
They have my camera I have proof of delivery, however to date I've not received a replacement as promised absolute disgraceful way to treat customers.
I only wish Id read trustpilot reviews prior to ordering my camera etc.
My advice is to seek out a UK supplier instead of using their website.
Faulty product (Dive Housing) first dive after purchase has leaked and now distroid my camera. Customer service are only offering a discount on new one if I purchase. What a joke. This company is going down the drain. Stay away and don't get ripped off... They do not care about customers. I can believe the CEO does not see all these complaints that are being posted as it is damaging the company. Are they that pig headed that they don't care?
Terrible customer service. Over $1000 dollars spent on GoPro and acessory, all batteries totally died 2 years old, and customer service slow to process order, doesn't honor 24 hour processing and laughs in your face when you complain
The gopro is nice but beware of the scam they pull on you. They give you the "free" subscription and then charge you $50 the next year. It says one year subscription but it doesn't start when you get the camera, it's on the order date, which is a week before you get the actual camera and a day before a confirmation email. Even if your one hour late they don't give a..., too bad they say. Would never buy anything from this company stay far far away. Nice product terrible, terrible, customer service.
There is no customer service at all.
I tried to contact them, you can fill in forms on their website to request a callback. No response at all.
The chat on the website doesn't work.
On their own forum no reply.
The only thing left what I can do is ask my credit card company for a refund.

I bought a bundle for GoPro Max. Then I return it since my friend gave me another one for free. But they asked me to contact Canada Tax Department to ask for refund. Isn't that funny? They are saying they don't refund tax. And the more interesting part is they DO refund tax, since I got fully refund from the subscription I paid WITH TAX. And they charged me the tax with the item's original price, even I bought the item with discount. Trust me, GoPro is the funniest online store I have ever met. And the customer service just keeps saying sorry without listening what you say. The guy I talked to asked me 3 times why did you say? And continue saying I m sorry. That s all I can do. How easy they can make money.
I ordered a camera on February 3. On February 10 ups tracking number Said the camera was dropped off at a amazon facility south of where I live about a half hour's drive. Don't know why gopro sent it to an amazon facility in the first place. They had the correct mailing address. On february 13 I called gopro and got a case number said it would be resolved in 2 to 3 business days. Call back again on that friday and got the same b s. Today is March 1st and I just called them again took 13 minutes to get somebody on the phone gave them my case number and they said somebody would call me. Back within five minutes and I never got to call back. So in conclusion GoPro in my opinion is going to be short lived company do not do business with them for they do not care about customers. OK they did get back to me and it took another 20 minutes Being on the phone and they said they're going to refund my money within 7 to 10 business days. I will believe it when I see it.
Two years ago I subscribed to their yearly subscription. A year ago when it came up for renewal, I cancelled. They offered me a discount to stay, but I refused because I didn't use the service. Now another year later, I see a charge from gopro. My credit card had expired so how they managed to charge me is bs, but I called. I've never dealt with such horrible people. They do not care. They have a fast answer for everything you try to say to them. They send renewal emails (they didn't. Yes I checked spam. I didn't check a box that allowed them to send me a renewal email) They can't transfer you. They can't see that you haven't logged on. Whatever you bring up, they have a fast answer. After getting a callback from a supervisor and getting treated even worse than the front line idiot in spite of me doing everything I could do to be polite, the only way I was going to get refunded was if I had a screenshot from a year ago that proved I cancelled. They do not care. They will treat you horribly if you call them. You might as well go straight to your credit card company and open a dispute. It's your only hope and it will save you from just being treated poorly by gopro. They will NEVER get another penny from me. Absolute horrible human beings.
GoPro support team not take customers issue seriously. After at least reaching out to GoPro customer support, I have been told that some executive or manager will call me. And never happened. I provided my phone number 4-5 times at least. It's a waste of time.
Before you buy any GoPro product think twice of what kind of customer service you will get. Very Very poor customer service.
GoPro renewed my storage subscription without my authorization for auto renewal or giving me any prior notice of their intent to do so. When I contacted them to cancel the subscription, on the very first day the renewal began and I noticed the charge on my credit card, they would not cancel and refund.

This company is a scam, they hide subscriptions to charge you, when you realise they already rob in your bank account. I will never buy any product from this company again. They manage without any honesty, be careful.
My camera itself was wonderful, that is, when it worked. I've had nothing but issues with it, and nothin but issues with GoPro customer support. Not only did I but the extended care for GoPro I also bought their monthly membership, and I still can't get a call back.
Absolutely awful experience. Have been attempting to purchase a large number of GoPros from their website but was forced to do them 1 by 1 until they stopped allowing me to purchase more. Since then they have accused me of being fraudulent and rejected payment from 4 different sources and not offered a solution. Terrible customer experience and awful website and customer service.
I was appalled by the service of Go Pro. They took forever to cancel my order, did not communicate with me that they had. In which I had to call multiple times. Their poor service caused me to miss promotional deals. When I called them, they ignored me on my call. The worst service. I expected so much better for go pro.
GoPro is not interested in satisfying or even communicating properly with customers in paid replacement device exchanges. They miscommunicated and even mislead throughout the entirety of an unecessarily long process to replace one device.
If you beat a group of amebas around the head and then got them to run a company you'd have a better operation than GoPro. Ordered over £400 worth of kit and card was charged. No order confirmation. Contacted the amebas and they tell me that the order failed. Didn't think that this was worth flagging up to me since they had my money.
Answer: Yes, surprise there is a single word good to say, the success is that I learned a lesson, GoPro is dirt.
