My camera itself was wonderful, that is, when it worked. I've had nothing but issues with it, and nothin but issues with GoPro customer support. Not only did I but the extended care for GoPro I also bought their monthly membership, and I still can't get a call back.
Had cameras since the 3rd version in my posession. Never let me down. And buying this thing kind of makes you do something worth filming *-*
Faulty product (Dive Housing) first dive after purchase has leaked and now distroid my camera. Customer service are only offering a discount on new one if I purchase. What a joke. This company is going down the drain. Stay away and don't get ripped off... They do not care about customers. I can believe the CEO does not see all these complaints that are being posted as it is damaging the company. Are they that pig headed that they don't care?
My family and I recently took a trip to an island for he first time last week. Wanting to "capture" every special moment, I decided to purchase a go pro hero. It was fine, and I was able to capture some photos and videos. Until the day before our departure from the island. And after all the sight seeing done, my go pro would not turn on. Tried to reboot it... but was unsuccessful. Instead... ALL my photos and videos on the memory card turned to 0. YES. All of those memories supposedly captured are now gone. Worst investment. Waste money. And now wasted memories I'll never be able to retrieve because this device failed me..
Terrible customer service. Over $1000 dollars spent on GoPro and acessory, all batteries totally died 2 years old, and customer service slow to process order, doesn't honor 24 hour processing and laughs in your face when you complain

Copy of my complaint: "Hello, I've ordered a GoPro HERO3+ Black Edition on your web store on 11. 3. 13. My credit card was charged for $399 and I received the message that my order would be shipped soon. From that moment nobody from your customer service contacted me first and explained why my order was not shipped. After I sent 3-4 tickets to your support center I received either no explanation why my order is not shipped, but they recommend me to contact your financial department by phone only. OK. I called to your support center and had a conversation with Ian. He said that he needed a confirmation of billing adress, shipping adress, credit card info. I confirmed all of this info. He said that everything is OK and my order would be shipped on Friday or Monday. My item is not shipped yet, nobody contacted me first (as usual), a new anwer of your support center: "It appears your order has been cancelled. I would recommend purchasing through one of our retailers." You charged my money and wasted my time. I've spent a week contacting your customer service and the only thing I received is cancelled order. Do you have such attitude to all of your customers? Don't you think that some actions should be applied?" Nobody answered on it.
I bought a GoPro3 and I am very happy with it. It makes amazing great shots. And the website is great, you can find all the information about the camera and find solutions if you have problems.
2nd time now i have ordered product from this company. Not only is there product the best on the market for the price you pay but customer service was helpfull and product was recieved very quickly... thanks go pro!
