GoodRX is not helpful. I got a UTI. The doctor office was closed so I thought let's try. I explain my medical history including my chronic UTI. I ALSO EXPLAIN I NEED 10 DAY RX. (IT WILL COME BK) AFTER MY DETAILS THEY SENT ME A RX FOR 5 DAYS! Anyone who ever had a uti knows you need at least 7 days and if you are prone you need more! After starting the day worth of pills next day finally wrote bk I needed lab. Um already started meds had to be at wk.
Waste of money and time. DO NOT TRUST THEM. YOU WILL END UP SENDING MORE!

I save 120 a month a on prescription or 50% of the cash price. But some things I have learned and may explain some of the reviews.
1) While goodrx has a partnership with walgreens, most of the time the pharmacists have no idea how the discounts work or are possibly encouraged to be short-change artists. I am hopeful its just the former.
I had one pharm tell me Goodrx doesnt pay their bills so their card is not honored anymore. They obviously had no idea how discount rx programs work.
After i proved him wrong, he apologized.
Another said, "we dont accept that here". If that happens, do not take no for an answer at least for me $120 was worth fighting for. Usually a pharmacy manager is helpful in this instance, ask to speak to them. You can also call Goodrx when you are at the pharmacy and hand the phone to the pharmacist. At first, this whole process is very annoying but as time goes on you will have less problems(provided you always go to the same walgreens).
2) Make sure you tell them that you do not want the script to go against your insurance deductible. I have been told by walgreens that you cannot get the discount/coupon and apply the amount paid against your deductible. While this may be wrong I have found this to be the only way the discount or coupon goes thru.

They pretend they will refill your meds, then they come up with an excuse why they can't, and to contact a doctor in your area...even though they have the medication listed as available to request.

I wrote a review in June 2017 regarding Walmart not having a contract with GoodRx and having Walmart refuse to honor the price on my prescription. After a great deal of research and many hours on the phone, I learned that Walmart had changed suppliers for my medication between the time I first filled my prescription and when I ordered a refill. Their is a code on the box that shows this, but is something the average consumer would not k onto look for and something the pharmacist and pharmacist assistant did not seem to know either. Customer service at GoodRx eventually explained this after multiple calls seeking an explanation for the in tease in pricing. GoodRx representative responded to my online comment that my review was untrue. GoodRx needs to policethe representatives who are responding online with deceptive with deceptive information. I believe they should be help accountable and would encourage all who have a similar experience to share the information online and report the inaccurate response to your state attorney general. Save your receipt and document the names and dates of all your conversations and interactions.

The prices are not that accurate and people get so upset at the pharmacy staff whom have nothing to do with the prices.

Used goodrx recently for the first time and was amazed at how well it worked. Without their coupon the cost was $160, with it the total was under $15. Extremely impressed and extremely grateful!

Do hospitals accept good rx? Pharmacy transactions have not been a problem once I understood I needed to call and remind pharmacy to use Good Rx every refill

Please stop showing people on commercials that they just show the coupon and the price automatically changes. Let them know that we have to rebill the prescription and it will take a few minutes. Smh

I can't say enough good about my Good RX experience. Kaiser wanted to charge $200 per box for Lidocaine 5% patches. I said, heck with that. Out of desperation checked on line and found Good RX. Lowest price was Walmart - printed out coupon and had prescription transferred there. Price has been $70 per box for about 2 years. Had to get new prescription - went to pick up but didn't bring my Good RX coupon. Assumed they had it on file. They couldn't find it and the lady gulped and said the two boxes were now $800. I said - I checked yesterday and Good RX was 70 per box. Home I went - printed out the Good RX coupon and today picked up my usual 2 boxes for $140. Walmart honored the coupon and I'm going to get multiple refills soon as obviously Big Pharma is doing it's best to screw anyone and everyone with these horrendous price increases. That being said, I haven't had to buy anything else as I have Kaiser, but I would have had to just forego the patches at the price without Good RX and that would have been awful.
