I had bought my glasses through here and was pleased with my purchase. However, I had referred my boyfriend and my dad to buy their glasses from here. My boyfriend had received his glasses first and I contacted customer service immediately when we found that the wrong prescription was sent. I was told to fill out the return form and send the glasses back. Which I did and I also included a copy of the correct prescription. I didn't hear anything from the company for about a week and half so I emailed customer service again and was told to send the prescription AGAIN. After sending the prescription for the 3rd time, I didn't receive a processing email until 5 days later. Currently, still waiting for the glasses to arrive HOPEFULLY with the correct prescription.
With my dad, I had helped him place his order instead of inserting the script ourselves while ordering we uploaded the prescription. A few days later we receive an email saying that the script was not received! We upload another copy of the prescription. My dad received his prescription today and was ALSO sent the wrong prescription. The prescription was completely wrong.
It's disappointing that they had spent so much money and wait so long for the glasses to receive the WRONG prescription. Now my dad, has to continue wearing broken glasses as we wait probably for another MONTH for these glasses to HOPEFULLY be sent with the correct prescription.
It's ridiculous, how the money for the order comes out of your account so quickly, but the company fails to provide any type of customer service. Maybe they should add checking the prescription before sending the product to the customer to their process'.

Tldr: Ordered contacts in April, never received them due to being "out of stock" although the website claimed "in stock" entire time. Phone CS claims contacts are in stock, but would then receive email from email CS that they were out of stock. Wasted 6 months getting pushed back and forth, supervisors never calling back as promised, etc. Have filed for refund but have yet to receive it.

I ordered contact lenses from GlassesUSA in mid-April of 2020, and as of September 24,2020, I have not received them. The contact lenses were marked as "in stock" when I ordered them, and I received a confirmation and an email stating they were on their way. However, after a few days I received an email stating the contact lenses were unfortunately out of stock. When speaking to customer service on the phone, they gave me the option to wait for the contact lenses to come back in stock, which I chose to do as my contact lens prescription had by that point expired.
Five months later, where I followed up with customer service each month over email, I had still not received my contacts. Throughout this entire period, the contacts were labeled as "in stock" on the website. I started calling instead, and one day received the surprising answer that they were now in stock. Great! I was happy to finally have this resolved, and hung up the phone with a promise that the contacts would be shipped out the next day. I never heard anything back. This process repeated itself four times before I started losing my patience. After speaking with a supervisor about my frustration, he promised to do an internal investigation to see what the status was, and he'd call me back by the end of the week. No one ever called.
After once again calling them back, I spoke with supervisor Maverick Anderson, who kindly apologized for the back and forth. He promised that this would be the last time, and that he was 100% sure the contacts were in stock. He even confirmed it while we were on the phone. I told him straight out that I didn't trust him, as it had gone down so many times prior, but he asked me to trust him one last time, as he was so certain.
24 hours later, I received an email stating the contacts were out of stock. At that point I gave up and requested a refund. I have spent countless hours on the phone and writing emails, trying to get a clear answer as to whether I would ever get these contacts or not, and now am going to have to get a new prescription ($125) as my prior one expired in this hassle.
Do not ever order from this website.

Answer: Our production times vary between each prescription and lens type we produce. By far our glasses are produced and delivered before the times stated in our shipping policy. In some cases, unfortunately, glasses might not pass quality assurance, which means they need to be remade. This unfortunately means that we have to start again from scratch, but as a rule we do not send out any glasses that did not meet our quality standards. Shipping times are unfortunately mostly beyond our control as we depend upon our carriers to deliver the products in a timely manner. Answer: I ordered a pair on 3rd Nov and was still waiting on 20 Nov. I canceled them On the 21st. A rep called and convinced me to give them a second chance...big mistake. I gave them a second shot and resubmitted the order on the 21st. The rep assured me that the glasses would be shipped in 6 days. Taking into account Thanksgiving the glasses should have be shipped on the 30th but they were still in production and, again no real customer service. I canceled and drove to America's Best. In 15 minutes I ordered glasses and they were $30.00 less than glassesusa. I don't recommend that company.
