Very helpful customer service rep. Who found a great price for us for an additional night's stay at a hotel in Tampa. We had no problem with the change in reservation and the follow-up email was useful too.
My booking went very smoothly except for one confusing thing. I got a second confirmation but showing US currency. As the booking was made in Australia. I didn't understand what this meant. Overall as I said everything else was carried out excellently
Enjoyed my stay very much - the sign outside the hotel was in tough shape, but the hotel itself quite nice. I also ran into a couple of errors prior to arrival, and it was handled very well by your people. Thank you.
This site gives you complete information on the conditions for the room reservation. I don't see what more I can say, I'm just writing to fill the minimum 100 characters that are asked in order to submit.
I waited until I stayed at the hotel until writing this review. I would highly recommend getaroom. They were amazingly helpful and friendly with my booking on the phone and when I checked into the hotel I was given my choice of floors, not shoved in the corner like some other websites. I will defiantly use them again whenever I travel. Thanks so much they certainly made it easy.

Very helpful. When we had to cancel due to a schedule change, the process was prompt and efficient.
Our stay was cool and cloudy and we still had plenty to do. All but one the pool was heated so the kids were entertained for hours. There are water slides, a lazy river, hot tubs, you name it. Our room was recently renovated and its beautiful. Our view was amazing. We will definitely stay here next time we come.
Not sure how I got to GetARoom site, but I was pleased with the ease of booking the room (at a rate lower than the hotel's website offered!), receiving a confirmation within minutes and with the option of cancelling should plans get scuttled. If all goes well, will keep the site for future bookings
I booked 5 rooms, but was charged for 9 rooms. After being told it was just a 24 hr. Hold, I was hung up on 3 times with customer service. The hotel was pleasant, clean and staff was polite and courteous but the reservation process was unclear, unorganized and very unaccommodating!

My hotel was booked in the wrong state. It was suppose to be Washington and it was Maryland instead. 3000 miles away. Four minutes after booking it they would not let me change it to a closer hotel. No refund either. Nothing. Too bad. Even though the email says I can make changes until tomorrow morning at 10 am.

Update: getaroom reached out to me to resolve my issue. I only hope that, moving forward, they prioritize transparency in regards to them being a third party booking service rather than pretend to be the hotel's own direct site.
For their response to me, I'm upgrading the review, but in fairness, getaroom, be upfront about your third party status to avoid the negative reviews.

Thought I was booking a room directly with the hotel, turns out it was via getaroom, which will not refund the second night of my stay which is no longer needed. No attempt at all, just a flat out "no". Do yourself a favor and call the hotel to book directly.

Be very aware using this company to book any hotel room. They charged over $200 in fees for two rooms that were $170 a night each. Once I realized what had happened I called to cancel my reservation, like any reputable site would allow you to do, and they told me there were no refunds. They'd be happy to cancel my reservation but not refund a single penny. This was after waiting on hold for over 30 minutes. I will never use this site again

After my poor review for the non refund of an instantly cancelled room they reached out and made adjustments which is good, they just need to add place for code discounts and have time limit for money back cancellations.

I inadvertently book a reservation on this site, as the website appeared to be of a hotel chain I use. I immediately contacted their cancellation number and verbally told the woman who answered that I was cancelling. She assured me the reservation would be cancelled, but due to a "slow system" it would take time. I later realized that the reservation was not cancelled and they had charged my credit card.
After a series of email with their Customer Service (ha), an employee offered a refund (June 4,2019) which I accepted. But they did not honor their promise. They are not to be trusted.
Made a reservation with who I thought was Hilton. Was quoted a rate, then charged much much more! Will dispute with Amex. This company has tons of complaints!
Updated: After a couple phone calls, and filing a case with AMEX, getaroom did issue a partial refund. I am happy about that, but will never (purposely) use them again. I wonder if they train their agents to overcharge to see if they can get away with doing so.

Their website is deceptive. It misleads customers into believing they are booking directly with the hotel and they add hidden service and reservation fees that almost double the room rate- don't use them!

I never take the time to write negative reviews but have to this time. I was going through to book a room and when I got to the final steps noticed there was over a 50% increase in price and went to cancel. My bank sent me a text obviously noting some questionable activity with this site. I did not pursue but somehow got charged. I reached out and there was no acknowledgement of wrong doing. I never authorized the payment. No actions taken to investigate where a mistake was made. Stay away from getaroom. There is no interest in customer service just taking customers money. Very upsetting.

I reserved a room on this site today, and was stunned when the $176 room charge ended up being $244. Their fees started at $50 and then more for "extra persons" who won't be there. I'd booked with a hotel that didn't actually charge for the room in advance, so cancelling was quick and easy. Now I'm worried that I gave a credit card number to this company. AND - Chase fraud division refused the charge on the first card I tried to use. Chase knows what they are!

After review was submitted, customer service reached out to me and was able to assist with a successful cancellation for this reservation with a full refund. This did happen quickly, and the customer service worker Jackie was polite and efficient in getting this accomplished. I understand that prior to paying all of the conditions were there but I did not know I was on Get A Room site, so thought I would be able to customize. I will ensure I read disclaimers before confirming in the future. This wound up being a positive experience.

Answer: They are not ethical. For me, they used a website that appeared to be the actual hotel website, did not identify themselves when they should have, and did not mention booking fees while they charged a 30 percent booking fee for a room that was its normal price. They were supposed to cancel charges on my credit card and did not. STAY AWAY!
Answer: They are a site attached to Trip Advisor---- if you see them on screen while trying to book a room-- hit cancel. I'm out over $150 because of their fraudulent cancellation policy.
Answer: Thought I was booking on the actual hotel sight but was deceived in as much as it was Getaroom. Talked to someone else also staying at this hotel at the same for about a third less. Called them right back and had already charged my card and it would be up to 3 weeks to refund. That's about what it took but did get refund. Then checked reviews and no one had anything good to say about getaroom. Go straight to hotel sight of one you know and trust or stick with something like Travelocity.
Answer: I'm definitely in. There's something very deceptive, if not illegal, when you start off on a hotel's website and when you click Make a Reservation, it somehow transfers you to the GetARoom site without your knowledge. I had no idea this was done until I received their email confirmation. I'm thinking of contacting my state's Consumer Protection Div. Of the AG's Office to file a complaint when I get back from vacation.

Answer: Wow. This is one bad company. Made a reservation and then needed to cancel. They gave cancel date all along. I called to cancel on that date and was told that date was only for 1 minute of date they told me. I was supposed to forfeit one night's cost. Luckily I made reservation on AMEX and they'll tell this fraud company to get lost. Moral of the story: make reservations through hotel.
