I'm definitely in. There's something very deceptive, if not illegal, when you start off on a hotel's website and when you click Make a Reservation, it somehow transfers you to the GetARoom site without your knowledge. I had no idea this was done until I received their email confirmation. I'm thinking of contacting my state's Consumer Protection Div. of the AG's Office to file a complaint when I get back from vacation.

I am in...quoted $179. Charged same day $261.42. This was from a Wyndham site. The pop up on their site said "special...book now , " I pressed the Book Now right while I was on Wyndhams site. I couldn't believe I was charged when the site gave 24 hour notice for date change. I was a month ahead !

The customer # was a boiler room. Got 5 different reps.....not from Texas. Their billing is CCI Res.*

Pissed beyond belief !

I'm in - they pretended to be the hotel, didn't mention that they would automatically charge me the full amount at the time of booking. never sent a confirmation receipt. when I finally - and I do mean finally - reached someone they said they couldn't provide a detailed receipt for my stay, room rate, tax etc. Only after I told them I'd be reporting them to BBB and FTC did she give me the room rate and the absurd "tax and service charge" ... a scam.
