Call 800-468-3578 but good luck. They are scammers

Call the 800 number, and request a supervisor. Don't let them talk you out of your complaint!

You have to call and pretend like you're booking a new reservation to get past the automated answering service. Once you're finally connected to a person you can ask for customer care. I have NEVER gotten a reply via email from their customer care email address. Every call I have made (and I've made a LOT trying to get my money back) has taken over an hour each time. You're put on hold, calls are dropped, and there are no supervisors to help you with your problem, no matter how big it is.

They added an outrageous 'service fee' to my reservation at a high end hotel -- also thought the web site was the hotel directly but it wasn't and they even answered the phone as that hotel (must be a dedicated 800 number for that hotel). Did not realize it until I got my bill. Hotel could not help bcs room was booked thru GET A ROOM. I fought for over 2 months and finally got American Express to refund amount by disputing the charge. THEY ARE SCAMMERS! DO NOT USE THEM! They actually lied when I called them to say the hotel forces them to charge this service fee -- which was more than one night's stay at the hotel!

Good luck trying to call and get any kind of normal customer service response. If you booked through Kayak or another company that then passed your reservation through to Getaroom, try calling them directly instead. When I called Getaroom they were rude, unresponsive and condescending. I spoke with supervisors and they were the same way. If you are being scammed, like I was, report them to the Better Business Bureau. If the BBB receives enough complaints, perhaps they will eventually be able to shut them down so that innocent travelers are not taken advantage of any further.

They won't provide answers. I spoke with a very rude guy who said his name was JK. He was awful. I asked to speak to his boss; he said, "I don't have one." Someone should take the time to take them to small claims court. They are owned by two men in Texas. They get away with cheating and scamming because we don't go after them

All these people are right. You need to call. They actually offered me a $50 credit on my next reservation but I didn't want to take another chance.

I kept calling. Guy I finally talked to was a total jerk. Probably the rudest person I have ever dealt with. I disputed my credit card charge and won.

I found by email was best! They are scammers! I hope you get the result you want!
