I need to cancel the last two nights of a 3-night prepaid reservation and hotel policy allows this. But hotel told me they can't cancel, getaroom has to cancel and refund my money. Getaroom represented themselves as being Holiday Inn reservations then when there was no room at Holiday Inn I wanted to book they told me they could reserve room at another Holiday Inn brand - Candlewood Suites. Which is not true. I did not know I was being scammed. What can I do to get refund for last two nights? I am at hotel now staying the first night.

Wow. This is one bad company. Made a reservation and then needed to cancel. They gave cancel date all along. I called to cancel on that date and was told that date was only for 1 minute of date they told me. I was supposed to forfeit one night's cost. Luckily I made reservation on AMEX and they'll tell this fraud company to get lost. Moral of the story: make reservations through hotel.
