If you write a room is refundable I expect it to be refundable for more than just 5 hours.

Telephone operator is not fluent in geography: thought I wanted some place out West instead of in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts.
I was led to believe I was dealing with Hilton Reservations direct. Because of this I do not receive my Hilton Honors points.
I tried many times to book and failed. But you have helped me to do it faster thanks.

Amenities are poorly listed. To know this there was a pool I had to look in the reviews.
It was good took a few extra min to fin the information at the hotel when we arrived

Booked a TripAdvisor hotel with GetARoom and it was much less expensive than the the other travel websites.
Tried to book at this hotel with cpl of other sites but was told it was fully booked..

GetARoom saved me and the wife enough money on a room on Lake Shore Drive in Chicago for the two nights we were there to pay for all of our meals!
Will NEVER use this company again. Hotel charge was $200 LESS than getaroom charged us. Of coarse, NO refund.
Noticed a charge on my credit card for this company for 272.00. Contacted the customer service department who quoted me a wrong e-mail address and informed me that I agreed to the terms and conditions, ONLY PROBLEM IS I DIDN'T. I informed them that I never booked, never gave my credit card and never signed anything. Again they sent a long blubbering e-mail back that included that they sent me an e-mail verification code only problem is it WASN'T my email. This company is a scam. I called the Hotel that I supposably reserved a room and they said somebody called and canceled it and no one even reserved the room. This company absolutely refused to help. I was scammed out of this money either by this company or an outside person but I am paying the price. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE.

I booked a room at the Best Western Hotel and Convention Center in Lawyon, OK 6 weeks in advance of my Grandson's BTC graduation. The reviews online for that hotel were good. When I called to make reservations they automatically connected me to this third party booking company, which I wasn't even aware of. I had made reservations for 4 days originally then called and extended for another day. They immediately withdrew the full payment from my account both times. When we got to the hotel, it was horrible! There was mold and mildew on the walls and growing on the windows. I am highly allergic to mold. We went to the desk to cancel the reservations, they didn't seem to be surprised or bothered. By that time, I was already having problems breathing and my throat was getting scratchy and my voice going. They said I had to go through the 3rd party to cancel. I had to get out of that building so I went outside, After waiting on hold for 30 minutes, the girl cancelled out reservations but was rude, and very unprofessional. She said I had to wait 7-10 business days to get my refund. Here I am in a strange town, 1800 miles from home with no place to stay and limited funds because my hotel expense was already paid for in advance. Now I have all those funds unavailable to me and no place to stay! This was unexceptable! I had asked to speak to a manager and she told me "the manager is just going to tell you the same thing". When I insisted she allow me to speak to a manager, she the manager is in a meeting and hung up on me. What a nightmare! That's a lot of money to be designated and prepaid for a vacation hotel only to find yourself with limited funds and trouble trying to find another place on short notice. I had to have a family member back home transfer some money to my account so we could get a place to stay. Never again! This was embarrassing and humiliating to have to ask for help from family while I am supposed to be on vacation. Totally ruined our vacation!
It was simple and easy and fast And also the cheapest at all the other prices but I would like to see if I can get an upgrade when I get there

Answer: They are not ethical. For me, they used a website that appeared to be the actual hotel website, did not identify themselves when they should have, and did not mention booking fees while they charged a 30 percent booking fee for a room that was its normal price. They were supposed to cancel charges on my credit card and did not. STAY AWAY!
Answer: They are a site attached to Trip Advisor---- if you see them on screen while trying to book a room-- hit cancel. I'm out over $150 because of their fraudulent cancellation policy.
Answer: Thought I was booking on the actual hotel sight but was deceived in as much as it was Getaroom. Talked to someone else also staying at this hotel at the same for about a third less. Called them right back and had already charged my card and it would be up to 3 weeks to refund. That's about what it took but did get refund. Then checked reviews and no one had anything good to say about getaroom. Go straight to hotel sight of one you know and trust or stick with something like Travelocity.
Answer: I'm definitely in. There's something very deceptive, if not illegal, when you start off on a hotel's website and when you click Make a Reservation, it somehow transfers you to the GetARoom site without your knowledge. I had no idea this was done until I received their email confirmation. I'm thinking of contacting my state's Consumer Protection Div. Of the AG's Office to file a complaint when I get back from vacation.

Answer: Wow. This is one bad company. Made a reservation and then needed to cancel. They gave cancel date all along. I called to cancel on that date and was told that date was only for 1 minute of date they told me. I was supposed to forfeit one night's cost. Luckily I made reservation on AMEX and they'll tell this fraud company to get lost. Moral of the story: make reservations through hotel.
