Scammed!

Carol Wright got me! I pressed the $10.00 off button and knew I had to cancel it soon.
Six days later I did. Free Shipping said you are "Unsubscribed" and nothing else. No email... Nada
Now I'm being charged $12.97 a month on my Visa.
This is too much of a hassle! After getting the run-around, I was finally able to cancel it AGAIN on the phone. So Long... $12.97... Live and Learn!
I really thought "I knew them all" but this is a new one on me.

Shame on a company that's been around forever to associate themselves with such LOW LIFES! I'll never do any business with them again.

My wife purchased an online item from Walmart in December 2014. She was unaware that she had somehow also signed up for "Freeshipping.com". As a result the company billed us 12.97 a month between 12/14 and the present time when I called to inquire what we were being charged for. Freeshipping.com never contacted us by mail, email, or phone regarding their "wonderful" savings despite the fact that we frequently shop at several of the stores they are affiliated with. To the best of our knowledge we never received any "member id" or any other information about the service. As far as we're concerned it was a gigantic ripoff and I feel Walmart and the other retailers should be ashamed of their association with this company

I was charge $19 this morning via my Paypal account. I questioned it, and was given no date or seller name of a purchase. I asked for reimbursement, which they refused. I was able (I think!— don't trust them) to cancel further subscription monthly $19 fees, but still no information on when or what they claim I purchased that would have triggered their "offer" of a subscription. I requested either a) confirmation of when I supposedly "signed up" and for what, or b) reimbursement, which they refused.
I'm now filing a dispute with Paypal.

Free scam

I bought a pair of pants from waitstuff uniforms. Pop up came up for "free shipping" and some how ended up with $1.97 charge and a monthly free of $12 and change auto deducted from credit card from freeshipping.com. Very clever. Thought I was getting free shipping form the seller... not the case. Looked at return policy from this sight and... well on and on. Bottom line STAY AWAY! They should change there name to scamshipping No free shipping here. Going to give pants to safe nest not worth the time and effort and $$ (10% of purchase price or min. Of $8.00) involved in sending product back to waitstuff.
They got my $$ don't let them get yours.

I had been a freeshipping.com customer for a couple of years. The first year got over $1K back between rebates and cash back. They just raised their fees to $19/month from $13. It is not worth $19/month.

Ordered from NFL.com and Proozy.com the first time I noticed something on my credit card account called freeshipping.com charging me for $2.00 then for 2 months after $13.00 EACH month... I emailed whatever this "company" is and said cancel this and DO NOT ever charge my card again. Then today I placed an order for Christmas at Proozy and at check out it said free shipping and the circle was filled in already so I thought I just qualified for free shipping as it said NOTHING else. Some how this Freeshipping.com tricks you into some sort of commitment you never sign up for! I will NEVER intentionally use them with this trickery! Thieves doing a scam side business! And you better refund my money too! Luckily I caught it this time round! I'd give you zero stars you suck so bad! And I'm pissed!

I can't believe all of the bad reviews. I signed up when I bought from Proflowers.com. I canceled my account before the 30 day trial period was up. 3 weeks after that they sent a shipping check refund as promised. You must read the fine print and do everything they ask. Then it's no problem. Actually looking through the Freeshipping site, they have a lot of good shipping deals, but I don't buy on the internet enough to justify.

This is a GREAT deal!

I have had a membership with this company for a couple of years now and I can say this program has only gotten better since I joined. Basically, I pay a monthly fee of $12.95. This allows me to receive up to a $10 reimbursement for each completed transaction placed through Freeshipping.com as long as the vendor I shop with is a member of the program. This is true up to a maximum of $500 per year. Additionally, every quarter, I receive 10% cash back via a check. It also comes with a reimbursement on return shipments and Price Protection. I hope this helps because I am so glad that I joined!

When I signed up on this website, I was never told that I would been charged for $12.97 per month and anything about a "free trial". After that, I totally forgot this website until four months later I found that they have been stealing my money. Well, such a typical scam and what a lesson! I never used any service from this website so I want a refund. Hope there are less and less people falling for this scam.

SCAM ALERT

It is deceitful companies like this that give honest online retailers negative notoriety. I was scammed by freeshipping.com into thinking I was receiving a simple ordinary no-cost/no-obligation cash back rebate on a recent purchase I made from deluxe.com only to find out that this entire "cash back rebate" is a complete hoax & that freeshipping.com illegally without my authorization decided to take it upon themselves and fraudulently use my stored debit card information on file to attempt & process a bogus transaction through my bank account for a small amount of money I can only assume the intent of attempting to charge such a trivial amount was merely a trial run to see if the transaction would actually go through and if successful would take it upon themselves to withdraw money from my account at there own free will.

Don't fall for this "cash back rebate" scam perpetrated by this reprehensible company

Didn't mean to sign up felt as if it was something offered on the website i ordered from (nfl.com) next thing you know its taking money from my account discreetly never got as much as a "hey you're not using this service that we conned you into" it wasn't until i went over a few bank statements when purchasing my home that i seen i was being robbed. Somehow they started billing me for charges and got information from a Kohl's order. Finally got it off my credit card and refund but still is pending for old charges that I didn't notice on my card. I still don't know what benefits you would ever get. Just got new credit card statement and they charged me again after getting confirmation they would close account. BIG SCAM.

Went to get charges taken off because goddamn Valorebooks.com lured me into this website, and was only able to get back three out of the five unauthorized charges that were made onto my account. No, I never signed up for a free trial, it simply said I could get my shipping charges back from Valore and asked for my Valore order information but I never even utilized it. 'Tis shady af and I'm on a college budget so of course I'm angry they are even allowed to do this. Sure the customer service was great though so the two stars are for that chick on the phone only. P.S. Valorebooks.com just lost a customer, bye.

Shipping.com has been charging me 12.97 every month for 2 1/2 years. I must have clicked on something without realizing I was subscribing. It is deceitful. The charge is easy to overlook. Was going through the Amazon charges with my husband and he googled the company and there were similar complaints. I called my credit card and they are willing to reimburse some and
Maybe all if I call another department. I had to call free shipping and cancel. I was regather perturbed and told them they are deceitful. Looks like they are an actual company but dont make it clear you are a subscriber and how to access any of their deals or whatever. They just charge you every month.

Unfortunately, I too was stung by this company and their very misleading website. Fortunately, I caught the first monthly charge. Shame on me as I always thought I was careful and would not act impulsively. I believe I read the offer very clearly and carefully after making an online purchase. Seems like a scam. Mislead you into a subsciprtion, and don't really do anything to help you save money/get rebates after that. Only realized I was being charged for almost a year, after an audit of my business credit card.

Signed up to get free shipping. In today's digital age, you would assume that you could just oh I don't know... APPLY FREE SHIPPING at checkout with this subscription. But no. You need to send a cryptic eMail with a number, for a check in the mail? Then you will get no confirmation except that the eMail was received, then no refund. I followed instructions precisely. Service reps will say you did it wrong, wait another 3 weeks... Still nothing. Then once that time passes, you've 'waited too long to obtain the refund on this transaction'. Awful site, and not worth the time in the slightest. Living off of their easy to remember. Url since day 1. Avoid at all costs.

I had to literally cancel my credit card so they would stop charging me monthly for whatever it is they charge! I never ever signed up for their subscription, I called and they can't even find my so called "account" with them even after I gave them my email so how in the world can you charge me for something I'm not using and I'm not aware of ever signing up! Total SCAM! Can't believe this is legal!
