Signed up for this site, sent in all the required paperwork, waited and waited, still nothing. Called the company and they refused (Crystal a supervisor) quite nastily, that it was my fault and that they would not refund my money, even though they never held up with their end of the bargain. SCAM! Don't use this site! Didn't even want my rebate, just my money back for their scam of a website! Don't do it or you can be an unwilling fool!
Classic scam where you are baited at the point of checkout for an item you have purchased promising free delivery if you sign up. You then become a monthly member and your credit card is charged a monthly fee, in my case it was $13. They also charged me $2 as some kind of initial fee. I called and I will say they did credit the $13 but the $2 was never credited. They probably figure most people won't dispute the small amount but if they scam enough people the $2 will add up.
This site was recommended from another website. I came to the site to get more information and they want you to sign up first. I don't usually like to do that because I want to know what it's about. I started filling in the information and then it asked for my credit card number. I thought that was really odd for something that did not mention a price. I stopped filling out the form and did not submit anything. Now I'm getting e-mails about forgetting to finish the process. I am going to unsubscribe.
I was looking for reviews about the company and this site popped up. It confirmed my suspicions that something was not right. I can hardly believe all the negative comments! The representative who has been responding has to be at a loss on how to handle these reviews.
Hi Darlene, when you were registering for a trial membership, at the point where you enter your credit card information, to the right, is a box that tells you that if you do not cancel by the end of the trial, a monthly charge of $12.97 will start. The Freeshipping.com member benefits are worth up to $3,000 a year. We have shipping rebates, return shipping rebates, Price Protection and 10% cashback on over 1,000 online retailers.
Please take a minute to read the Terms of Service and our FAQ's to get a complete overview of all these benefits and any restrictions or limits.
Thank you
I signed up with freeshipping.com last year. They had an ad on Ebay's web site for $10.00 if you signed up. Be very careful because they make it look like you will get 10% back when you go through their site, but many, many stores are not signed up with them; even though they have links to use as if they are a part of freeshipping.com.
Hi Julie,
We're sorry to hear your experience with our site was not so great. We'd love to help explain how our site works to clear up any confusion about the 10% cash back!
We have over 1,000 retailers on our site that qualify for 10% cash back. In this case, you will see a header that signals its cash back eligibility on that retailer's brand page. If one of our retailers does not qualify for cash back, you will see a blue banner tied to that retailer that reads, "REBATES ONLY". This means that this retailer does not qualify for cash back, but you can still claim free shipping and returns at this store.
As long as you use a coupon that is offered through our site, you will still earn the 10% cash back at that retailer. If the coupon is not available on our site and is only offered by the retailer itself, we simply cannot track your purchase data and reward you the 10% cash back you earned.
If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out to us at customerservice@freeshipping.com. Thanks so much!
Sincerely,
The FreeShipping.com Team
I ordered two pairs of jeans from Kohl's next thing you know I'm charged two dollars from freeshipping.com I ordered two more pairs of jeans through Kohl's got charge $13 from freeshipping.com kohl's said it was free shipping because I spent A certain amount that qualified for free shipping money i've never heard of freeshipping.com that's definitely misleading title so I got on my bank account and ask them to stop payment which it was too late lesson learned I will definitely watch how I order online again and I will not be buying from Kohl's again Kohl's you were part of the problem allowing this company to be affiliated with you scammers you should both be ashamed of yourselves
My bad for not checking my bank statements better However, I never authorized this company to bill me! They charged me 3 separate times, for $12.97. No clue why they even billed me. Never using this site ever again, never even got the rebate I was supposed to get. Total BS. Sent them an email requesting they refund my money, otherwise I'm disputing with my bank.
Hi Alecia,

Signed up July 2014 and so far I have received close to $400 in rebates and cash back rewards. The FreeShipping 30 day trial offer was explicit about the monthly charge of 12.97 if you choose to keep the membership. I have communicated via email about certain issues and received timely feedback. If you are an online shopper then the membership will be beneficial for you. The cash back rewards are a great bonus!
Well those folks that say they disclose the $12+ fee are right. Those folks that say they were cheated or misled are right too (I think). There is no mention what so ever that it is a promo offer on the initial sign up screen. It is not until after you give them your name an email address that you find outa out the details. At which point they have it.
Clue in people whe folks ask for your credit card information, they are probably going to charge you sometime.
Hi, I apologize for the confusion. When you were signing up, directly above where you enter your credit card it does state the membership fee that will be incurred. Also, once you sign up for the trial, that information is sent again in the welcome email that we send to you. It is also in our terms and conditions. Sorry for any confusion.
Boy do I feel worked over! I signed up so I could get my shipping covered on an order I made and it was not clear until I tried to submit a claim that I HAD to first go through their website in order for the shipping to be reimbursed. What a hassle! I was buying flowers. I had the flowers picked out, the recipients name and address, my billing information, and card written. I would have had to redo all of that in order to get my rebate. What a joke. However, had I known, I actually might have done the extra work if I was properly informed before I submitted my order. Just feel really jerked around. I definitely will not be recommending this site to anyone I know!
Hi Nicole,
Please contact us at customerservice@freeshipping.com. I believe we may be able to assist you in resolving this matter. Depending on where you registered, the Introductory Premium is a shipping rebate, up to a certain amount, back on the purchase you just made. That rebate claim does not require you shop through the links (only subsequent orders have to be made through our site). It may be that you were not on the correct link when trying to claim that Intro Premium.
Thank you
Kelly
I clicked a link that offered me a free shipping rebate on an order with over 300.00 in shipping fees.
The next page has 0 additional information, and has you sign up with a CC.
Then the next page tells you that you can get a 15.00 rebate on shipping
THATS NOT FREE SHIPPING that IS discounted shipping
This is a 100% scam
It looked good but I became suspicious when they asked for my credit card info - why would they need it if they're giving free shipping? I could not find anything about "membership" charges other than "free for 30 days" and suspected a hefty charge. Stay awayfrom this "service"!
My friend's account got closed without any solid reason or prior notification after she accumulated over $1,000 cash back unpaid in the account.
She has decided to file class action lawsuit against the cheating website, if anyone has similar experience, please contact her at *******@hotmail.com, thank you!

They are robber that hide behind some online shops. I just order something from JCPenny but didn't know how I became the member of this crap! Then it started to rob money every month until you discover it!
Hello,
I apologize for any confusion regarding the monthly membership fee. Please reach out directly at Help@Freeshipping.com.
Thanks!
I wrote an earlier post about being scammed out of $204. Freeshipping.com and Proflowers both contacted me. Free shipping.com DID refund my money. I will still say, read the fine print and it should be OBVIOUS when ordering from ProFlowers and signing up for a rebate that your are PASSED to Freeshipping.com But... they did make this right. Good for them.
Hi Dave, I am happy we were able to take care of this for you. Please let me know if there is anything else we can help you with.
Thanks!
I've been a member for the past year, and have yet to run into any legitimate issues that weren't due to something I did incorrectly. If you follow the instructions, you should do fine with this service. It does take some effort and patience, however.
Adam & Eve web site is sister company. *******326. AdamEve.com sex toys. You probably made a purchase with them and malware pops up. They gave Free Shipping my credit card #. Call your bank and they will refund your money.

Rip Off. Supposedly I signed up when I placed an order with Kohls.com. Don't remember this. Not only did Freeshipping.com charge me $1.97 that day (and $12.97 seven days later), but I was charged for shipping by Kohl's. Never an email of acknowledgment from Freeshipping.com. This is a scam and based on the number of 1-star ratings, many more think so.
Hi Jeff,
I will be happy to assist you and make sure that refund is processed for you.

Paying $12.97 every month is not a savings for me. I wish to cancel and have them stop getting my account billed. When I tried to log on any of their pages, they refuse to accept the log in.
If they don't cancel immediately, I will instruct my credit card company to refuse any further charges.
Hi Alejandro, we understand that if you don't shop online often, than our program would not be beneficial to you at all. I would be more than happy to take care of the cancellation of your account. However, using the information here I am unable to locate your account. I can finish taking care of this request if you can email me directly at Help@FreeShipping.com. Thanks!
I think I signed up for some trial or something I can't even remember. Turns out Freeshipping.com has been withdrawing $13 from my card for literally years. Just realized today. If I stole several hundred dollars from these douchebags I'm pretty sure I would go to jail. How is this any different? Total scam. AVOID.
I subscribed in this service 2 months ago since I knew I'll be shopping a lot on Black Friday as I have recently moved to other state. After shopping, I did get emails that my cash back was approved but then I got an email that my account is cancelled and reason was over shopping can be commercial. They asked me submit them few receipts which I did. After that I've been emailing them every day for past 10 days but no response. Interestingly, I have been charged as well for 2 months fee and no benefit has been given so far. At least, they should communicate more effectively. They shouldn't just assume and decide on their own. Not happy.
Hi Ameet,
Thank for you taking the time to tell us about your experience. We strive to provide excellent customer service and all feedback is important to us. We will be reaching out shortly to assist you.
Thanks,

Answer: Their advertising is a little sneaky I give you that. But that's your fault, just like out on the city streets, a fool and their money is soon parted.
Answer: Hi Christina, unfortunately I can't locate your account using the information here. Can you please reach out to me directly at Help@FreeShipping.com?
Answer: What's so dishonest about it? I am a regular subscriber and can easily recover my subscription fee many times over.
Answer: I did, but only after threatening to report them to the Attorney General in my state. They rely on the fact that few people will make a fuss.
Answer: You have to buy items from a website…anything from eBay to BATH & BODY WORKS, OVERSTOCK…many others. Go to "freeshipping.com" then delete the site from which you plan to buy-it will direct you to that site. (I always take screenshots of final receipts to add to my freeshipping.com submission), Afterwards you need to enter the purchase date-total cost and shipping cost…then a code is given. I have timed myself-the submission takes 35 secs if you are fluid on the computer. Have been a member for over 5 years and saved hundred$$! Trustworthy site-w/discounts as well as freeshipping (up to $10/order). $500 max shipping refunds per year…no limit on 10-20% off discounts!
Answer: Hello, Any cash back you earn as a member is yours to keep even if you choose to cancel. Thanks!
Answer: Hello - No problem, I have sent confirmation of this to your email.
Answer: Hi Carla, Please reach out to me directly at Help@Freeshipping.com. I will be happy to issue a refund for the membership fee. Thanks! Samantha Customer Support Supervisor
