First, don't fall for the site name, shipping is NOT free! Secondly, it takes weeks to get an order. When I did finally receive my order the package was completely crushed and the product damaged enough to toss. I wrote the company and they said they would send a replacement, ok fine... then I got a follow up letter stating they would NOT be sending a replacement!
I'm doing a lot of online shopping! Recently bought flooring and lighting from wayfair and lumber liquidators and some miscellaneous items from Walmart, etc. Got a $543 rebate check for October. Awesome! The membership has paid for itself many times over! Awesome!

Surprised to see so many negative reviews. I have been using their services for almost 4 to 5 years. Received 10% to 20% cash back and price protection rebates on several items. Excellent benefits if you shop online a lot.
Hi Red,
Thank you so much for your positive feedback! We are glad you are enjoying the benefits of membership in Freeshipping.com

There are several reviews that are bad regarding freeshipping.com. My experience with them has been wonderful. They never charged me for something without my knowledge (it states it in writing when you sign up and with your intro email they send). I think the people who have negative things to say about this company are just not able to read and follow directions. If you READ and do what it states them you will be happy. I've received payments for all my shipping items. I did cancel after my trial period, but plan to sign back up closer to holidays when I start ordering more online. Thank you to freeshipping.com for being a great company and helping to reimburse those expensive shipping charges!
Thanks for the kind words, Amanda. We are glad that you enjoyed our program. Please let us know if we can be of further assistance!
I ordered something a little over a week ago and they gave me a tracking number for some random order by someone else back to December 2019, completely inaccurate. I then read how you will have to make monthly payments after purchasing from them, so after looking at reviews in this thread it said to contact *******@freeshipping.com. I emailed them 4 days ago and still no response. I emailed within my 7 days of purchase and now because no one is responding to my emails I'm 100% they're going to still charge me monthly. Complete bull$#*!
Hi Julia,
I'm sorry it doesn't appear we received your message. Please reach out directly at Help@Freeshipping.com and we'll be happy to help.

I worked here very briefly from home near there Portsmouth NH office. The positive reviews are from employees. If you threaten to call the attorney general or better business they will refund all your money but you have to make that threat. It is possible to get money redeemed but 99 percent of people don't. You have to go to the free shipping website first and then the store. They make there money on the 99 percent of people that don't. Most people don't realize what they are signing up for or think it's legit because they trust the website the ad popped at. (They get a cut too super greasy) Sorry to all the people I wasn't able to refund. Lines were recorded and I was trying to provide for my family in a pinch. I was not management and made 9.00 an hour for a pitiful amount exsistence
I have no idea how freeshipping.com got my debit card information. I have no recollection of subscring to this. $19 was withdrawn from my bank account. I had to cancel my card and file a report with mybank,... just in time for Christmas. Very scary. Then i called the 800 number on their website and they could not verify my account, supposedly without my full debit card number. I of course, did not provide it. Watch out for this everyone. I hv no idea what they really offer. Why have this when you can shop off Amazon or otherfree shipping sites
As of 8-28-2011 the MONTHLY fee is $12.97 - almost $157 a year - almost twice Amazon Prime. And nowhere in the promo materials is that disclosed, until you go to sign up. There are no reviews on ResellerRatings.com for them although they are listed but do not participate in monitoring feedback or resolving issues.
Disgusting company! Charged me $2 for a ridiculous trial session. When I signed up for an account, there was no where mentioned about membership fees. Absolutely fraud! Only $2, but who knows how many people they tricked. Stay away from this vicious company!
Hello,
I'm sorry for any confusion regarding the membership fee. Please reach out directly at Help@Freeshipping.com, we'll be happy to help.

Seems like I got done in too by freeshipping com.
What we all need to do is get a facebook and twitter started and post our receipts showing all the different stores that allow them to advertise and trap people on thier websites.
These businesses should not expose their customers to shady vendors and offers.
They are just as much to blame for this.
Hi Sebastian,

New Years day, freeshipping.com obtained enough information to cram their fee on my credit card. In NO WAY did I knowingly authorize this charge. Freeshipping.com represents an industry one step away from identity theft.
Hi Jim, please contact us at customerservice@freeshipping.com and we will be happy to refund your memership fee. Additionally we will be happy to let you know exactly when and how you registered for a tiral membership and send you a sample of the offer that was on the page your registered through.
Thank you!
Scammers what a horrible joke. Total rip off. They are nasty people to deal with BAD attitudes!
I have sent Alice a private message about the customer service reps. They really need to make some kind of contact with their customers as I never heard boo from them until I notice the charge, not one welcome, thank you, promotions zero email. There is something wrong when a service such as this doesn't't say Boo but want $$... with no services render!
Hi Ruth, I am so sorry to hear you had a bad experience with the people here at Freeshipping.com. Please email customerservice@freeshippingcom ATTN: Alice Rand, and let me know what happened. No one should ever feel like that when dealing with our company and I would like to address the matter.
I will also be able to answer any questions you have.
Thank you
Alice
Hides membership and can be accidentally signed up for. Sends only one email and then avoids contact. The goal is to leech money every month without you noticing the charges. Total trash, avoid at all costs.
I was unaware I was signing up for this service because I purchased perfume online. Hey, freeshipping.com! If you have customers that are paying a monthly fee and NEVER using your service for over a year, I think it might be good practice to bring it to their attention. Yes, ideally, consumers should make sure we are looking at our statements monthly for schemes like this. However, this is just not good business practice. You are profiting off of the hope that people will not notice your small fee each month. That's a bad practice and puts bad karma in the world. I would never want to work for a company that strategies on how to milk money out of unknowing customers accounts.
On the plus side, the rep who answered my complaint, readily refunded 6 months of charges and cancelled my account. He probably gets these calls all day long.
Hi Michele, I am sorry for the confusion regarding your account. It does look like your account has been cancelled and you were issued a refund. Again, sorry for any confusion. Thanks!
At the request of the Freeshipping.com rep. That contacted me here, I e-mailed them with my proof, but their response is the same "Conflict: Order credited to other publisher"
So as I mention in my original post:
If you're planning on subscribing to Freeshipping.com, take note of my recent experience, and proceed with caution when purchasing large priced items, as you could be denied your cashback for any reason the retailer gives, and end up losing $100's of dollars.
Hi Tony, we obtain all cash back data through an affiliate network when you shop through the links on our site. Your eligible purchases will report automatically when you shop through the links on our site. I do apologize for any inconvenience. I see we have reached out directly to confirm the status of this request.
During the recent Thanksgiving weekend - Cyber Monday, Freeshipping.com offered 20% cash back instead of the usual 10%, so I made multiple purchases of amounts ranging from $20 up to $1250. For the larger purchase amounts I took screen shots of the ordering process. Of all the orders I placed over this weekend, the largest purchase was not credited to my account $1250. 97, excluding tax $1149. I should have received $229.80 cash back for this order. After a week of not receiving the credit, I contacted Freeshipping.com, I sent them 3 forms of proof of this order transaction through e mail. The first was a screen shot from the website I purchased from ABT Electronics, showing the order confirmation page. At the top of the screen shot, there's 3 tabs, the 1st tab states "Home| Freeshipping.com" the 2nd tab states "ABT Electronics| Freeshipping.com" and the 3rd tab states "ABT - Order Confirmation. The 2nd form of proof was a screen shot of the e mail order confirmation received from ABT Electronics, the 3rd was a screen shot of the rebates section on Freeshipping.com, this shows the date I made the purchase. After viewing my proof, a Freeshipping rep stated this:
"Hello, The documentation has been received. Thank you! From reviewing the order we are not able to directly locate a reason on our end that would negate the cashback from being reported. Keep in mind each retailer has their own restrictions and tracking records regarding cash back purchases. So we have sent a direct inquiry to the retailer regarding this purchase. If the retailer is not able to locate a reason on why the purchase was not added then you will see the cashback for that purchase added to your savings center in the next 2-8 weeks. Please let us know if you have any other questions or concerns in the meantime. FreeShipping.com Customer Service"
The above is freeshipping.com confirming they can't find a reason why my cashback wasn't reported after viewing the proof I sent.
After 8 weeks of waiting, no cash back credit received for this order, I contact Freeshipping.com through e mail, and now, a different rep tells me this:
"The retailer had reported the purchase as Conflict: Order credited to other publisher."
The Freeshipping.com rep will not answer direct questions about this, but basically it states, ABT Electronics gave the cash back credit to an unknown cash back site, so Freeshipping.com can't pay me the cash back, unbelievable. Even with the proof I provided, this is how they treat a customer of 4+ years. If you're planning on subscribing to Freeshipping.com, take note of my recent experience, and proceed with caution when purchasing large priced items, as you could be denied your cashback for any reason the retailer gives, and end up losing $100's of dollars.
I'm ashamed. Somehow I got signed up to this scam way, way back in October 2010, and I've been paying $11.97 per month ever since, without even knowing I was signed up. That's how closely I (don't) monitor my credit card bill. Of course it averages about $8,000 in new purchases per month, so this charge is easily skipped over, but still, I'm embarrassed that I've missed it for so long. That's an expensive $300 lesson to check my statements a little more carefully.
I never knowingly signed up for this service. Now I will see how easy it is going to be to cancel it. My experience with another scam in the past is that these con artists sometimes don't let go that easily.
I don't recall joining. In fact, I'm sure I never would have. I NEVER ship anything, so I'd NEVER give my credit card number for a free 30-day trial nor any other such offer for "free" shipping. The credit card in question is a joint card, so it took 4 months of $12.97 charges to raise an eyebrow. My only possible method of recourse: This review. And I'm not alone... I quickly found several similar stories online by searching "freeshipping.com scam".
So I was mentioned this website in my e. L. f confirmation email for my order. I knew this website was too good to be true so I read almost everything on the site even the terms and conditions and did not see any indication of a charge for this website. Well long story short I realized there was $12 (with change) missing from my bank account, I got notified it was this website and I called them up and they gave me my money back.
Piece of advice to freeshipping.com: There's no point adding a "clearly unwritten catch" if you're going to refund the money anyway. You're probably not even making any money. Just end this silly business of yours.
Hi Jennifer,
Sorry for any confusion. When you first registered, to the right of where you entered your credit card numbers, was the offer outline that said if you do not cancel by the end of the trial period you would be charged a monthly fee of $12.97. Additionally, you would have also seen this in outlined in the Welcome Email that was sent to you.
Please contact customerservice@ freeshipping.com: ATT: Alice. I wil be sure you are cancelled and refund that charge for you.
Thank you
Alice

Be aware of this website, as soon as your cashback goes beyond $200, they start suspending your account and accuse you of commercial use and high volume shopping reasons.
I provided the receipts that all purchases were delivered to residential address or picked up by myself, but they don't care.
Then they pocket all the money for themselves and offer you a few monthly membership refunds. I found them dishonest and unprofessional.
I noticed a recurring charge on our visa bill. When I called the number, I found out when my husband had ordered from ProFlowers months ago, he was signed up for this. He had no idea that this was being done. (Yes, we should have noticed this recurring charge and investigated it - will be more vigilant in the future). This service is virtually useless to us and a waste of money. What really concerns me is how they managed to sneak in this "membership" to unsuspecting customers, who think they are simply giving information to order flowers.
Answer: Their advertising is a little sneaky I give you that. But that's your fault, just like out on the city streets, a fool and their money is soon parted.
Answer: Hi Christina, unfortunately I can't locate your account using the information here. Can you please reach out to me directly at Help@FreeShipping.com?
Answer: What's so dishonest about it? I am a regular subscriber and can easily recover my subscription fee many times over.
Answer: I did, but only after threatening to report them to the Attorney General in my state. They rely on the fact that few people will make a fuss.
Answer: You have to buy items from a website…anything from eBay to BATH & BODY WORKS, OVERSTOCK…many others. Go to "freeshipping.com" then delete the site from which you plan to buy-it will direct you to that site. (I always take screenshots of final receipts to add to my freeshipping.com submission), Afterwards you need to enter the purchase date-total cost and shipping cost…then a code is given. I have timed myself-the submission takes 35 secs if you are fluid on the computer. Have been a member for over 5 years and saved hundred$$! Trustworthy site-w/discounts as well as freeshipping (up to $10/order). $500 max shipping refunds per year…no limit on 10-20% off discounts!
Answer: Hello, Any cash back you earn as a member is yours to keep even if you choose to cancel. Thanks!
Answer: Hello - No problem, I have sent confirmation of this to your email.
Answer: Hi Carla, Please reach out to me directly at Help@Freeshipping.com. I will be happy to issue a refund for the membership fee. Thanks! Samantha Customer Support Supervisor
