Flax Linens

We purchased a Ruffle Duvet Cover and I could not wait to get my tax refund to complete my set with a dust ruffle for my king bed. I was not sure whether to get the same color or mix it up so I booked a time with a design consultant via the website and they gave me some great suggestions. They even asked me for a photo of the bedroom along with some looks I was inspired by and gave me a great suggestion. I ended up with a Striped Bed Skirt which makes my room look like it belongs in some interior design magazine. Thank you for the personal care!

Ordered duvet set which was to deliver in 2 weeks. It is now over 4 weeks late and nobody can tell me where it is or what is being done. One of the items on that order I had to cancel, so they issued a store credit. I used that credit on a sheet set, and now that order is two weeks late and nobody can tell me anything. I've tried several times by phone and email, and all I get is apologies and empty promises to check and get back to me asap. 7 days now since the last apology and empty promise by email. Having to dispute the charges now with my credit card.

I normally do not write reviews but I truly appreciated the personal service I received. The product is great, I have ordered all my bedding from this company for the last 2 years, consistently my orders have impressed me, in particular the natural flax color. My entire house has morphed from bright and loud to natural and neutral which suits my personality much better. I have read the reviews from happy customers and some upset but my personal experience is this company was anything less then honest and forthright, I would not be writing this review.

I have ordered linen bedding from west elm, restoration hardware & pottery bar and I must say that flaxlinens has the best fabric and sewing quality. I just received my ruffled duvet set / european shams / ruffled bed skirt and they are so lovely and fit my bedroom perfectly. My order arrived within 12 days of ordering, looking fwd to ordering more items from this company. I wanted to write this review because I personally think these days people only tend to write reviews with there is a mistake but in this case when they did everything right, why not give them some love?

I ordered a king size duvet cover on July 2 2020. Waited the two weeks. Product never arrived. Sent 1st email inquiring about status, no answer. Sent 2nd email, no response. Sent 3rd email, no response. Called, no return phone call. Sent 4th email, no response. Tried to use their "chat" feature. No response. Then I read these review and found they all had the same story so I just disputed the purchase which smartly I put on my AmEx. Now I'm going to have to find another place to buy a flax linen duvet cover. One month wasted but glad I saw this review site and stopped wasting my time, especially since you all say the product is produced in China. Dang.

I ordered a sheet set from these guys 2 years ago which has been our regular 4 piece set of sheets. My hubby practically refuses to sleep on anything else so I figured it was time to get a back up set. I did not know they had doona covers as well so this time I added it to my order. The first night we slept in it I finally understood how much I was missing out having linen underneath as well as on top of me. I didn't mention it to my husband but as he was getting ready for work he mentioned how much he enjoyed his sleep 2 or 3 times. I wanted to understand why being covered in linen made such a huge difference to our sleep comfort. When I googled ‘linen sleep health' the flaxlinen.com blog came up speaking of the health virtues of sleeping in linen. I am paraphrasing the blog basically said when you wrap yourself in linen because of the breathability of the fabric, not air pockets are formed and your body temp regulates faster. Makes sense to me, don't let my husband catch us without being wrapped in linen

I ended up exchanging my sheets 3 times without a hitch because I was trying to match a color. I was not sure if Navy or Indigo would work and I ended up going with sky blue. I wanted to write here because FL was always willing to process my exchange quickly and I truly appreciate that they stick to their exchange policy. I know I was a difficult customer but the customer service was accommodating and never made me feel bad about the exchanges and we're prompt in their responses. I did have to pay for return shipping everytime but they paid for shipping back to me.

I ordered a set of linen sheets (very high-priced) for $278.80 in June, received Confirmation from the company as they collected money from my credit card, and that was the last I heard from them. They are only in business to collect money: the product (if you are lucky enough to receive anything) comes directly from China, with all labeling and documentation written in Chinese; their so-called Customer Service department is a third-party company that has no actual connection to FlaxLinens and no way to get in touch with them (just like the customer). Apparently, that's the business model of this company: take the money, then run and hide. These guys are nothing more than crooks! They should not receive a one-star rating - they should receive a jail sentence for fraud! Do not buy anything from FlaxLinens.

My package arrived from europe 10 days from making my order. Packaging was minimal but what was inside was perfect. The linen quality was comparable to coyouchi linens I had ordered previously but I calculated them to be almost half the price. I am impressed the value and quality of flax linens products and look fwd to doing more business with these folks. I ordered 5 Piece Chambray Set and replaced the top sheet with belgian linen mid grey

Unfortunately I read these reviews after I had ordered $300 sheets. First of all I've never paid that much for sheets in my life but was excited about luxurious linen. The time that they were supposed to arrive came and went and that's when I saw these reviews. I don't even know how many times I have called this company but I'm not screwing around, I've already called my state rep and I WILL get either my sheets or a refund. I don't know how they even stay in business, this is actually stunning, this Hass to be a scam. They always say the person you need to speak to is not available and I said well how do you know? It's just the runaroundI am so pissed right now you have no idea!

I ordered 4 linen pillowcases in Oct 2018. Flaxlinens.com charged my credit card, but I never received them. After many emails and 2 phone calls leaving messages with the answering service (no customer service), the owner Yuliia responded via email claiming it was lost in the mail and would have another order sent. After never receiving this supposed 2nd shipment I left many emails and called 4 more times but never received a response Or a credit of $100.80. Yes, I am out by $100.80!

I agree with the "Do not order from them" review, as well as "the worst shopping experience". I do all of my ordering online with so many companies that will bend over backwards to ensure you are satisfied. Please do not order from this unethical company.

I see a lot of positive & a few negative reviews here so I wanted to share my experience with this company. First off, I want to say I also experienced receiving some incorrect items when my delivery initially arrived, albeit 1 week later then the estimate. I do understand COVID has caused some people to take out their frustrations on the wrong people. In this case the late delivery was not due to flaxlinen.com but rather the courier UPS. I could see the order was shipped on time but it sat with the UPS warehouse form an extra 6 days without movement. I cannot blame the company do that. When I order finally arrived, I was not happy to see that a few of the items were made in the wrong color. I reached out to my contact at Flax Linen (Sean) and he immediately notified his sewing manager who confirmed that my pillow cases had been made with the wrong color. They emailed me back the same day and let me know that I could keep the incorrect items and withing 3 days the correct pillow cases were sent out. I just received the replacement items and happy to report that A) UPS seems to have fixed their issues B) The items that arrived were exactly what I initially ordered. Sean followed up to make sure that everything was ok and even sent me a $20 coupon for my next order. This is exactly how customers willing to spend their money online should be treated.
