I ordered phone with express delivery that was suppose to be 5days. But after 14 days no phone. No contact. Just automated messages! But luckily i was able to get my money back through my credit card company.
Why does nobody ever reply to us from eGlobalCentral?
You are selling our high quality goods as grey imports into the EU, and are potentially damaging our brand by providing zero customer service both pre- and after-sales, as well as disturbing our markets.
You need to put a disclaimer on your website to say that the products aren't in stock, they are sourced from outside the EU, and they don't come with a warranty. What you are doing is immoral, illegal and DISGUSTING! You are a cancer on the world and you should be shut down!
Bought an paid immedietly £441 for a pair of earphones that i never ever recieved they sent 3 tracking numbers over 4 weeks all said item returned to depot (there shop) the courier said they have not sent the revelant paperwork with the item! How can anyone so stupid do this 3 times anyhow have had no item no refund, had to get police involved and a lawyer, i would advise anyone please do not give this shop any money as you wont get your goods they are very clever at frauding innocent people! BEWARE!
Ordered a camera then realised it would have no uk warranty so cancelled before the order was processed. Eglobalacknowledged the cancellation but sent the camera anyway. After numerous ignored e mails they replied and said I had to pay to return it. More ignored e mails and RMA tickets and they finally agreed to collect the camera. They have now had the camera 3 weeks and are ignoring my e mails and RMA tickets. Currently have the camera and £500 of my money. Credit card company sorting it out.
I ordered the last 25th of July 2017, it says dispatched 2 days after by 27th July. They give a tracking track because in their website they saying that delivery period is between 6-8 working days. Now it's 11 workings days the item is not yet delivered so rung the delivery courier. The courier said the item was booked in their system the last 27th of July but the item was not given to them, that's why it was not delivered. The courier said to speak to the seller what's the problem but the didn't reply any emails. After this week if still, i didn't receive the item I will ask PayPal assistant.
Well, you can add me to the growing list of people who have had to return a defective device. My Galaxy S7 Edge developed two faults after a few months, firstly a cluster of dead pixels and then it started crashing and rebooting (multiple times per day). So over three weeks ago I paid to return the item. After chasing it up several times I've finally had the message that everyone else gets when returning faulty items to this scam company.
"With regard to your returned item, we would like to confirm that upon our inspection, the technician have checked thoroughly and unfortunately no obvious or previously indicated issue(s) were found. We could arrange the item to be sent back to you, however, there shall be a freight charge to be settle in order for us to further arrange the return shipment of GBP[25]."
All you have to do is turn the phone and look at it! You can't miss the dead pixels, I even have photographs! So now what am I supposed to do? Pay £25 to have a faulty phone returned to me? My job is to now start legal proceedings (which I have done before with other companies like Motorola) but am not sure of my chances as although the have a UK website and a UK return address they are based in China.
Had it not been for this event I would have given them a 5 star review, but you can only really base a company on how it reacts when things go wrong. I have bought many items from this company over the past few years (over £1000 worth of goods) and they have all been delivered.
Wish me luck, and please learn from my mistake.
EGLOBALCENTRAL UK SCAM REPORT
After 13 emails, and I followed all the instructions of eglobal central, and the mobile is protected by guarantee, I receive this message. The technician asks me my "personal" user and password of google, if not, I would have to pay 30 GBP to have my mobile back.
I WILL REFER THIS EVERYWHERE
MESSAGE FROM EGLOBAL CENTRAL UK
Dear Alfredo Maria,
As the device is still locked with Google, we are unable to proceed further.
We understand with your concerns of your personal data, please note that without them, we are unable to proceed further.
Otherwise, we are only able to have your phone returned, there will be an inspection & return fee of GBP 30 incurred.
Thank you.
My go-pro battery after I unpack the package. So I did the RMA in order to refund it. The company sent the TNT to pick my stuff back in order to check the problem. It not only take 2 weeks to contract because company base in HK and I live in UK but also I have to pay money 25 Pounds to get my stuff back. This is very poor After-sales Service.
SERIOUSLY ABYSMAL CUSTOMER SERVICE.
LIKE MANY OTHERS I WANTED TO CANCEL MY ORDER WITHIN MINUTES OF REALISING THIS COMANY IS BASED IN HONG KING AS OPPOSED TO THE UK (AS THEY MISLEAD EVERYONE WITH A. CO.UK WEBSITE).
I WAS TOLD THAT IT WOULD TAKE 48 HOURS TO PROCESS MY CANCELLATION SO ID HAVE TO WAIT FOR DELIVERY AND RETURN THE ITEM. AN UTTERLY RIDICULOUS STATEMENT.
I WAS PROMISED A £10 REDUCTION IF I KEPT THE PRODUCT. DESPITE SEVEN EMAILS ASKING FOR THIS REDUCTION, ZERO REPLIES. SERIOUSLY AVOID THIS COMPANY IF YOU HAVENT YET PRESSED "BUY".
I purchased an iPad mini 2019 at £287.84 from eGlobal Central and used their free shipping (on orders over £50). The iPad mini wasn't (actually) in stock and after several days of delay I eventually got an order dispatched email (with tracking link). After a couple of days, the shipment tracking then stopped at the My Hermes national sorting hub and after chasing eGlobal Central and My Hermes for weeks. Eventually My Hermes phoned me to apologies that they had lost my package and that they would compensate the eGlobal Central and I should go back to them.
After chasing eGlobal Central, they eventually came back and said "I regret to inform you that the package was not insured so the maximum refund that I could provide you with is 10GBP"
So, if you are looking to purchase an item over £50 from eGlobal Central. Then you are taking a big risk if you don't pay for the extra insurance, which is 3% of the order cost, so budget that into the price!
I was very fortunate that I made this purchase with a credit card, so could get my money back from them.
This will be the one and only time that I use eGlobal Central and all I can say is "Buyer Beware".
They kept me updated with my order. But that was it. After dispatched i could not communicate with them. They don't have a Phone number hence email is the only option and time zone difference does not help the case. They manged to mess up my order big time by not putting exact details on the Cover ex. Door number my name. Hence delivery company could not deliver 3 days in a row and then it was held at depot for a while.
It is not UK retailer hence it will not covered by many uk laws. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THE ABOVE COMPANY. PLEAS SEEK SOME OTHER WELL KNOWN OR REPUTABLE COMPANY WHO CAN COMMUNICATE WITH YOU.
I LEARNED MY LESSON NOT USING A UK RETAILER, I HOPE YOU DONT HAVE TO.
I bought from them a £300 Canon compact camera. They had a competitive price, about £70 less than any other online retailer, but there is a reason why!
The camera arrived quickly, but on the box it says it's only destined to the Japan marketplace, which means that the Canon warranty is not valid in the UK. There also were no instructions in English. But these were not the worst points... I noticed dust and "stains" inside the lens of the camera, and contacted them about it. They told me to send the camera back, at my own expense, and I so I did. Once they received it, they told me that their warranty doesn't cover damage of dust or water, and so if I wanted to "repair" the camera, I would have had to spend £60. We are talking about a new camera here.
I refused and they told me that I had to pay £20 for them to return the camera to me. Twenty pounds! Not even the most expensive courier charges that much for such a small package.
I had to pay the £20, otherwise they would have kept my £300 camera.
The moral of the story is: do not buy from them, spend £70 more and buy from famous UK internet sites (like Currys), and not one that ships from Japan and whose warranty and customer service are appalling.
I've purchased a BlackBerry Priv on 26th of August. The phone was sent via DPD on September 8th. Since two days later, there was no update after the parcel was in Netherlands.
DPD claims that they await eGlobal to raise an investigation and I cannot do anything about it.
Please notice that in 10 days it will be TWO MONTHS since I ordered the phone and yet I didn't receive neither phone nor refund.
Noteworthy is the fact that I paid extra to insure the parcel - seems I did it for nothing.
Please don't purchase through this company - IT'S SCAM! They should be penalized for such a behavior.
Returned my Zhiyun Tech Smooth C iphone stabiliser under warranty after it stopped working. As it was no longer in stock they could not send a replacement. Instead of offering a full refund, they offered only 140 in store credit. The stabilizer cost 170 to buy! Why can't they at least offer what I paid in store credit? Then I might actually spend more? AVOID THIS COMPANY, THEY ARE THIEFS.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY, my camera lasted 2 months after the locking mechanism opened while it was in the water, I checked the camera and you could clearly see the locking tab was not working properly. Of course I was told that this was not covered by the warranty. Waste of money.
Short story:
Bought my S7 Edge from eglobal in April 2016. In August the screen failed out of nowhere and it was sent back. They acknowledged the fault and the "repair" took 2 months. Got it back with a working screen but looked like it was installed by a 5-year old (lumpy screen), and it would stall every 20 seconds for about 6 seconds - in short, it didnt work.
Sent it back again in October, they acknowledged the fault after a month and the said the repair would be another 2 months.
In January I started asking when it's finished.
A month later and no replies.
I was polite all the way through, but they just decided to pull the plug rather than fixing the problem. How convenient to sit in China and steal our money.
They are simple criminals hiding behind what appears at first to be a legitimate business.
The story does not end there. I will do anything in my power to damage their criminal business. They need to be shut down. Why are we just taking this?!?
There must be a way.
Stage 1: spread the word in every concievable forum where people consider using them. Im on it. Please do the same.
Worst shopping experience ever!
Ordered a mobile phone on the 9th of March 2020 by standard delivery, it is the 15th of April 2020 and haven't received it yet. E-mailed them 9 times for the past 3 weeks and they haven't even bothered to reply. Been given a Royal Mail tracking number but the shipping information hasn't been updated since the 18th of March 2020, it still says "Item is on its way to the RDC" (meaning " We are expecting it", post office says).
Rubbish customer service, the only way you could contact them being by e-mail.
I do not recommend eglobalcentraluk.com, obviously.
Update: On the 17th of April I received an e-mail from eGlobal saying they would open a case with the courier regarding my order and e-mail me back as soon as possible, then on the 28th of April was told that they were still tracing the courier.
It is the 21st of May 2020 and I am still waiting for the order to be delivered. Fortunately, I managed to make a charge-back claim with VISA on the 27th of April and I received a full refund the next day for now (even though the investigation process could take up to 8 weeks).
Also filed a complaint on consumer.org.hk (from Hong Kong) on the 24th of April. They e-mailed back on the 4th of May saying that they had also e-mailed eGlobal, trying to solve our dispute...
I ordered a Samsung j5 mobile last month. The phone arrived after a few days, However when I switched it on I noticed that about a third of the screen was black so no good. I contacted them by email and they asked for a photo to prove it. So I sent a photo and also asked for a refund. They said that I would have to return the phone to Hong Kong. That's when I discovered it was a Hong Kong based company. So much for eglobal central UK and a union jack flag on their website. I contacted paypal and they told me to return the phone with full tracking. I returned the phone and after four days got message from DHL to say that the item was delivered and signed for, I again contacted paypal and got full refund including £15 for return postage to Hong Kong. I did cost me £25 so in all only lost a tenner. I have since had a message from Eglobal saying that I had damaged the phone so their insurance would not cover it and offered to repair it costing me £120.00 plus £30.00 postage. Well I would not like to replete my reply to that.
Ought headphones £47 from eglobal central
They went faulty after 4 month ask for refund and eglobal refused.
They offered me £12 off from next purchase from them.
DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM eglobal central!
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE! I ordered and paid for a Fuji X-T20 and Fuji 18-55 lens via PayPal and have zero feedback from them regarding when they would post. Subsequently I have tried to cancel the order zero feedback from them!
I am quite known in the industry and I will do my best to make sure other buyers avoid them.
Order Number: *******
