Haven't received my order!
May 8, 2018

I placed an order on 2018-04-27,06:55 today is 08/05/2015 Still yet to receive my parcel which was due arrive 7-10 working days. I have sent two emails to global central support and sales email and yet to receive a response.

According to Eglobal central tracking info, the parcel is at DPD. Which is not the case as DPD tracking status says "We've received your order details, and we're expecting your parcel shortly" its been this status for the past 5 business working days.

My order was for an Apple iPad Pro (2017) 10.5" 64GB Wifi Tablet - Gold

I have attached evidence of screenshots via the following link: https :// drive.google.com /drive/folders/1wWMTZcYHY7JmPFZGSKHvnIanH-3c6v0E? Usp=sharing

If I don't receive any contact or parcel by Thursday I will launch a PayPal case on 10/05/2018. I will update this review if anything changes.

Stay Away. DO NOT BUY from this company
September 27, 2016

Hi
Please DO NOT BUY from this company. They are big time CHEATERS.
If you still use this company, please be aware that the item might work just for 1 month and as soon the return period is over the item can start giving issues.
Its a TERRIBLE and FRUSTRATING experience to deal with their customer service.

I ordered a cell phone from them. The phone started giving problem just 2 days after a month. I contacted them and they asked me to send them the phone so that they can repair. As it was 2 days over 30 days period, they told that they wont refund my money but will repair it.
I received an email from them after around 2 weeks that the phone has a problem and they are working to fix it. Received my cell phone after a month (already lost around 2 months in all this). Restarted it and got the same problem immediately. So emailed them back and again they asked to send the phone back. Sent them the phone and again received an email from them after 2 weeks that the phone has a manufacturing defect and they are working on it and will take around 5-8 weeks.
Already I have lost around 4 months in all this and now if they take another 5 to 8 weeks, I will lose another 2 months. I have not used the phone for even a month. And they know very well that the phone has a manufacturing issue so they should be giving me a new replacement of my phone or my money back.
After me sending them multiple emails THEY offered me a replacement with SOME USED PHONE of some other brand. If I would be interested in taking a used phone, I would have bought a used phone for much cheaper. This is ridiculous.
How is it expected that I do not need my phone for 5 months. This company is a real cheat. This whole drama started since April 2016. Their warranty period is for a year. I think they will pass time like this for another couple of months and then say that the warranty is over. I did a mistake by buying from this company. The phone actually gave a problem just the day I started using but as it was my birthday gift, I opened the phone on my birthday (which was by my bad luck 32 days after my wife received the phone)

If you still buy, be prepared to waste your money as the ITEM MIGHT WORK FOR JUST 1 MONTH AND AS SOON AS THE RETURN PERIOD IS OVER, THE ITEM will START GIVING ISSUES.

Note: This is my personal experience with this company.

BUYER BEWARE! If you purchase from eglobal say goodbye to your consumer rights!
September 3, 2016

I implore all potential customers of eglobalcentral (english, EU and US) to read the reviews before purchasing! The reviews do not lie check out the number of 1-stars! They have a consistently awful customer service which is an absolutely horrific experience. Once you have passed the purchase stage where you hand over the money, dont expect any level of service and if you ever need to claim on their worthless warrantygive up!

We purchased a Bluetooth speaker for my brothers birthday. It stopped working after just 7 months. For those who want the short version, we now have paid our money, have no speaker, eglobal central are refusing a manufactures warranty replacement OR a refund, so we have contacted our credit card company to pursue eglobal on our behalf (lucky we used a credit card company!)

For those who want the longer version, after it stopped working we were asked to make a video testing the speaker to prove it didnt work. We were then asked to return the speaker (at our postage costs). 4-5 weeks later after much chasing we were told the speaker was indeed faulty and would need to be repaireda further 4-5 weeks later (again after much chasing) we were told it could not be repaired. We were offered a re-conditioned alternative model that was inferior. After searching the internet it was clear the reason they were offering this alternative model was because it had a major design flaw; it had reviews all over the web stating it did not work after relatively short periods, so eglobal we palming off their surplus junk stock to us. They also informed us there would be no additional warranty would be provided.

We declined the replacement given we were still within the 12 month manufacturers warranty, we asked for a replacement or a refund. I figured there is no reason why eglobal could not just get a replacement from the manufacturer so should not be a problem. This was also refused. I ask myself why they did not do this and conclude it is highly likely the speaker we originally purchased was already a re-conditioned when we bought it (mis-sold!) and therefore the manufacturers warranty was void.

I genuinely suspect this company is buying up all defective stock, repairing it and then selling it on to consumers knowing these are sub-standard parts.

So now the company have refused to give us a refund or a replacement, even though fault is within the manufacturers warranty period. They have our money, we have no speaker, and have had months of aggravation. The customer service is all done by email and there is no way of contacting them by phone to express this dissatisfaction.

Despite this company having a united kingdom address, it is based in hong-kong therefore does not follow UK consumer protection laws. I notice that it also has. Eu and. Com addresses so this company is clearly global and I would be wary of assuming the honour consumer rights in these countries either.

Awful after sales service and minimal UK Consumer responsibility
September 2, 2016

My experience is to do with after sales service on faulty goods. If you have faulty goods from this company good luck in resolving the issue. If your goods are fine then they are probably fine too.

The short version of my tail of woe is that as a non UK based company eGlobal UK (who are actually just a UK web address for eGlobal Central) it seems impossible to hold them accountable when things go wrong.
I have raised Consumer Ombudsman cases to be told eGlobal are not members a UK Trade Association and therefore not covered under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 (CRA).
I raised a 'chargeback' with my bank, as I mistakenly also bought the goods on a debit card, but missed the 120 day cut off period for claims.

The longer version of my tail of woe is this:
I purchased a Nikon DSLR camera in Dec 2015 which developed a faulty shutter in April 2016. I returned it under the warranty, it was repaired and returned to me 6 weeks later in May 2016.
In June 2016 the shutter failed again and I contacted them to state that under UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 a repair that fails to fix the problem within 6 months of ownership rendered the item unfit for purpose. The resolution was either to replace the item or refund it.
They insisted that their warranty covered further repairs and I should return (at my cost) the camera to them again.

I argued with them for nearly 2 weeks that they should cover the cost as actually the previous repair was ineffective but it took me raising a case with the Consumer Ombudsman before they relented and arranged the courier costs.

They confirmed again it was a manufacturing defect and insisted on a further repair ignoring repeated requests for replacement initially and then refund as my frustration grew.
They run an electronic case handling system that they only reply to once a day so disputes take an absolute age to deal with.
In the 36 weeks I have owned the camera I have actually had it in my possession and working for 20 weeks. The other 16 it has been in transit, in repair and in waiting whilst I try and get it replaced or refunded under the apparently obsolete CRA.

I'm now at the point where I give up. I have accepted the return of the repaired goods against my better judgement but feel there is really nowhere else left to turn.
CAB advised I could try and raise an 'ADR' (something dispute resolution I think) but still there is no obligation on the company to accept. Barring small claims courts I have nothing left and am giving up.

They win this battle but I have vowed, and warned them, that I am taking to social media and consumer advice sites to warn others of my experience to try and stop them having the same miserable experience I have had.

It must've cost more in courier, repair and case handling cost to manage me of the last 6 months that it would to have just refunded me. In that sense I take a small crumb of comfort.

Honest opinion, pay the little bit extra it would cost in the UK and get peace of mind if anything goes wrong.

Tip for consumers:

Pay the extra and use a fully UK based company.

I purchased my order way back on NOVEMBER 28TH 2014,...
January 10, 2015

I purchased my order way back on NOVEMBER 28TH 2014, the LG G3 Dual SIM phone (European model) for £336.00. We are now at JANUARY 7TH 2015 and I am STILL waiting for this phone. To my understanding, delivery was to be shipped from the UK within 6-8 days from the order therefore the customer expectation was that the item would be swiftly delivered.

I made it clear in correspondence on 20th December 2014 and 29th December 2014 that I had another LG G3 (South-east Asian model) that needed to be returned after my order was received. My correspondence on 29th December 2014 expressed that due to the delay from eGlobalCentral UK that I lost my right to return the item so am thus out of pocket as the £469.00 I was expecting to receive as the refund was lost. I also expressed that the telephone was a business phone thus I needed to have a phone. Unlike my current phone, the European model will take advantage of the 4G network and the 4G service I am currently paying for and not exploiting.

Further to this financial loss, the unacceptable delay in receiving the order has surfaced that the price has further dropped to £309, with the opportunity for a further £5.99 discount (total £303.01) therefore I am out yet another £33.

I was telephoned by UPS 2nd Jan asking about reception of my order - the order I have NOT received! Furthermore they said the item was delivered from CHINA! I am livid right now and my shopping experience through eGlobalCentral UK has been wholly unacceptable. I have had NO further correspondence from eGlobalCentral UK since 22ND DECEMBER 2014. I told eGlobalCentral UK I would publicise my disgust if I heard nothing -so now I am. This is a serious inconvenience, that has left me financially out of pocket which is utterly unacceptable.

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!
