DSW once again sent me dirty disgusting used shoes that I paid full price for. This time they came with a jelly like substance on the inside, dirt all over the treads, and they reeked of feet. This is so over the line, their customer service is unapologetic and has no other solution than to make me return their shoes for a refund with no apology. Its ridiculous, there's so many bargain shoe brands out there its impossible to justify supporting them further.
I bought a pair of slip-on shoes which, while the correct size, had such a narrow opening that getting them on my feet was nearly impossible. I returned them in pristine condition (including the box) and received a refund that was less than I had paid. When I contacted them, it turned out they charge an $8.50 fee for returns. DSW clearly doesn't really stand by what they sell.
The ladies at front to pay look pretty happy chatting among them laughing at pretty fun. For the customers not funny, waiting long time and plenty of registers closed, they take their time no rush whatsoever
The new layout for mens area is awful, you discriminated against us big time, I tried to get socks but only displayed for women. I was checking the sun glasses just for women

Ordered 13 Pairs of shoes within 3 days because of a crazy sale. 1 pair were clearly worn, and another was dirty on the toe. Only 6 pairs have arrived, so please pray for me! Customer service chat admitted that some shoes are from the floor, or returns. Disconnected my chat to prevent me from getting a transcript, but I copied most of it before he did because I thought he would try something like that. Ended up calling them, and the CS rep did not listen at all! Offered a $20 credit after I told him that I wanted RMA labels for all 13 pairs of shoes! SMH. I told him to send the labels for the 2 pair that were messed up, and that I'd drive the 80+ minutes round trip to return the others once they all had arrived. I demanded $20 back on my card for my gas, and he said that he would, but we'll see. Wish I had come here first before ordering from them. I now know better!
Some of these reviews are pretty silly! Like, no you can't return items after the return window expires, and don't expect a refund for worn shoes! Wow, really? I order from DSW all the time, but I do like to wait until they have promotions for a certain percentage off (which is often). I also love that you can earn rewards to put towards future purchases. I've never had any issues with shipping or returns. But I always do my returns in store, so I can get my refund ASAP, plus I want to make sure I do it within the return window.
As far as the quality goes, it really depends on the brand. They offer brands that I don't love in terms of style and quality, but I just stay away from those. I have my "go-to" brands that tend to always deliver quality and my usual size always fits. So far, I've never had a bad experience! And I do not work there, nor am I affiliated with them. I just shop there often.
Don't even bother ordering shoes from their website, especially if you need them by a certain date. My daughter and I were shopping in their store and she needed a pair of shoes for her homecoming dance. We didn't find any in store, but we did find some on the website. As soon as I got home I called customer service to make sure that the shoes would arrive on time if I paid for expedited shipping. I was assured they would since I was ordering them four days in advance. The customer service rep even said "I promise they will arrive by Friday". Well guess what? They didn't arrive on Friday and they haven't even arrived on Saturday. Shipping status now just says pending instead of a date. You have no idea how furious I am having had to run around town all day to find some shoes when I was promised the ones I paid for would be here on time.
I went online to buy a pair of shoes for my vow renewal ceremony on NYE. I found what I thought were the perfect pair of shoes. It was 12/27 so I figured I'd pay extra for next day delivery. No delivery until 1/3 and when I finally got them, the shoes showed clearly that they had been worn. Never, ever purchase shoes online from DSW. I will be taking them back for a refund.
I just received a pair of sandals today from DSW this is now they arrived and were left on my porch. I take great care of my shoes and do not appreciate getting my items in a broken box with no lid either. I am a very good customer and expect better service. Hopefully the shoes are a good quality.
I ordered 2 pairs of walking tennis shoes online to pick up in store. Adidas pair has nice color and fit nicely, but Kelly & Katie slip on snicker run small and too fitted for me. I was so fortunate to have Maryann assisted with the whole process. She helped return the original pair and reorder a replacement pair 1 size bigger in gray, my favorite color.
There was no extra charge and free shipping to my home. It was mid morning on a Saturday and it was busy with at least a dozen of customers in-line but yet Maryann was very calm, patient and focus to complete my transaction. Her professionalism, patience, and understanding are impressive. And her outstanding customer service is unbeatable. You're the Best Maryann! And thank you for your kindness.
I have received obviously used shoes sold at full price multiple times in the past few months and they've been damaged and missing all things in the box except the actual shoes so I know for a fact they're not new.
I gotta start by saying the positive: having emailed DSW regarding a defective product I purchased from them online, they got back to me extremely quick! Sometimes even just a few hours later! Bravo to them on their fantastic promptness! But be warned - each response was from a different representative (at least 6 or 7 in my case), which meant each response was completely different. Their initial response was most helpful, but after that, every response to follow had a different answer, and in the end, their answers went from "Yes, we'd be happy to help you" to "We can't help you at all." It was beyond ridiculous. Almost comical, in fact. I eventually gave up - too much unnecessary stress and a complete waste of my time. Should you need to contact DSW customer service, you might be better off doing so over the phone or in person.
The cashier in the mayslanding store don't know what there doing. I had a return that never went back on my debit card. I went to try to see want the problem was and the manager in the store told me it was right to wait 10 days which is not true. I eventually returned the other pair and the manager gave me attitude out of this world. Then I had to give her my attitude that she couldn't handle.I told her I was going to report her and she said she didn't care. I have spent over 1500 in this store this year alone already and she told me she didn't care. I ask her was she prejudice. That how she was acting. I told her she should check my history in this store. They will not be getting any more of my money. Ms. Jackson
Dont buy from DSW! Worst online shopping experience ever. I ordered gifts for Christmas and they sent them to the wrong address and wrong state! They couldnt even explain how that happened seeing that they had my correct address. Then of course I couldnt reorder because they no longer had the sizes I needed. Oh yeah…and I wont have the $ back for 3-5 days. I will never buy from DSW again. There are plenty of other shoe stores out there.
I bought two pairs of boots just different colors. I received one pair straight from DSW. The other pair came from DSW returns in New Jersey. The boots came in a partial box. Obviously they are a return and been tried on and may be used? There is no tissue covering the buckles! See pics! DSW, you can do better than this! This is not acceptable!
I just received a gift I ordered for my daughter in law for Xmas and the top of the box is cut out. How am I supposed to give this to her in this box? I realize you must do this for some return purposes: however there has to be a better way! Never again will I order a gift from DSW. Just awful looking. The shoes were very expensive also, I'm so disappointed and embarrassed.
Bought a pair of Vince Camuto sandals online. It was shipped to my home in a timely manner but the shoes came unprotected. It came in its original shoe box with just a plastic mailer bag. Also no cushion, cardboard or any type of paper packaging in the box to protect shoes. Came with a fine white dust all over them and one shoe is obviously worn in the bottom as if it was a display shoe or a return. Buckles and straps were also undone and not clipped and laced up as you see in stores. Disappointed. Positives are that they fit, they are nice and besides them being very dusty, no signs of wear besides the bottom.
Do Not buy a gift card from them cause you will not get it. Three weeks and still nothing. Bunch of foreigners answering phones. But what else is new in this messed up world we live in. Shame foreigners are taking over America. Get trump back in office.
Don't…! I ordered 6 pairs of shoes online totaling over $600 and only received 1 pair. FedEx delivered my other ideas to the wrong address. DSW would not assist me! I was told to take it up with my financial institution! I will NEVER order from them again!…Rip off!
Awful. Although they have a good selection of shoes, and some decent prices, their online services are horrible. Discount codes sometimes don't work for no reason, their email service Does Not Work, and I exchanged something and received no refund but was charged twice for my items. If you order from here check your bank account closely because you will see your order then extra five cent or fifteen dollar charges that do not make sense.
I bought myself some sandals that wrap around the heel. Been wearing them for a week now and they are super comfy. I just wish there was an arc though, as i have a flat foot. However, still pretty good.
