I have lost a lot of weight and I do not like my arms. So When I found this dress that had sleeves I was so excited bc I will be attending a military ball and only had 3 weeks to find something. The dress came when they said it would. I opened it right away, right then I was already disappointed. The sleeves on my dress were huge, it looked like a tshirt sleeve. Not only that but it was nothing like the picture, the sequins were awful and cheap looking. My mother thought it was a completely different dress all together, that's sad. But I still thought maybe I could pull it off. I tried it on, when I ordered this I was scared so I ordered a size bigger then what I am... Well guess what the dress would not zip up, it needed at least 3 more inches. That made me feel great... NOT. I cried for hours bc I didn't think I would have time to get a dress in a week. Well thank goodness I found something else, way better in the first place and guess what it was a size smaller then the one I ordered up here. I will never buy online from this site again. When I told them what had happened all they said was it was 90% the same. Umm I'm sorry but if I wanted it to look different then I would if ordered a different dress. If I ordered a size smaller/bigger then what the model has in it should still look the same. They did offer me a shaw on my next purchase, seeing how I won't be buying from them again a refund would of been appreciated but noo I doubt that will happen. Don't order from here, they just want your money and your dress is going to look cheaply made. Mine looked like it had tinfoil for sleeves and the sizes are way off. I will be attending the ball this week in my new dress that I had to buy bc of this train wreck. I have leard my lesson about buying online!

Worst experience I've ever had. I bought my daughter's senior prom dress in plenty of time. The PROMISED on the phone and in email that it would be here at least a week before the prom for any possible alterations. We spent almost 200.00 When I saw bad reviews (after ordering) I called to check on the dress they told me it was going to be ready. When the dress did not arrive on the latest day promised, I contacted them. They said the dress wouldn't be ready for another two weeks, which would be AFTER the prom. I told them to go ahead and cancel the order and I would now have to go out a few days before prom to find a dress for my daughter. I even emailed a confirmation of the cancellation. Since they said the dress was not ready and it would take awhile to ship from CHINA, I gave them plenty of time to cancel. Well, guess what? Two weeks AFTER the prom arrived while I wasn't home. My husband didn't know what it was and signed for it. We NEVER opened it. I can not tell you how bad it went for the couple of months that I was trying to get them to pick up the package. They wanted me to pay the international shipping to get it back to China. I wanted them to pick it up/pay for it, since I had cancelled in plenty of time. I eventually worked out a deal with DHL, who shipped it back for free since it was still sealed in its original bag. ONLY to have the people at dressale to lie and say to me when they got the package back, that it smelled real strong of perfume and accused my daughter of wearing it to prom and sending it back! We had to buy a new dress because this one didn't even arrive until AFTER the prom. They literally lied to me and said since it smelled of perfume that they would not give me back my money. If you value your money and your insanity, don NOT BUY from this company. There is a reason why you see so many negative comments online for them. They also had some statement on their website that they had their name used and that they are not the same company that has all of these complaints. That is NOT true. It is the same company. I highly recommend you buy somewhere else.

We ordered hoop slips, and paid for expedited shipment. Immediately after placing the order they sent us an email stating the date they would arrive... one month after we needed them. We immediately sent then an email stating this would not work, and to cancel the order. They sent us an email stating they could cancel the order but would have to have a 15% service fee held back. We emailed them their own policy which states a full refund if offered if the order is cancelled within 24 hours. They said the money "was paid to someone else for their services, they are not getting a penny from us but they had to hold the money back for service fees" We followed with a 'cry bull$#*!" letter (professionally stated), and they sent back another email saying we should order something else. Instead. Perhaps some jewelery or purses. No we need hoop skirts, not jewelry! We went from lies, to stealing to bait and switch... all illegal by the fair trade act. It has been 9 days of emails back and forth without the credit being issues. 9 days of two emails a day attempting to make us accept the order (we no longer need the product as our window of opportunity to utilize them and satisfy OUR customer is over), or to agree to taking less than a full refund. 9 days of wasted time reading and writing emails. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE... they are little more than con artists who will lie to you, take your money, NOT follow their own cancellation policy, refuse to refund your money... and then bait and switch you to some other crap... DO NOT ORDER ANYTHING FORM THEM EVER! We have send 22 pages of correspondence to our bank to try to retrieve our money since we at least paid via MasterCard. The saga continues. RUN AWAY NO!

I ordered my Bridesmaids dresses from Dressale.com and it was the worst mistake that I ever made... I order the dresses in late April and they called to verify the order to get measurements for the dresses. Which really didn't make no sense to me because when I ordered the dresses I ordered the size dresses that I needed/wanted... The dresses did not get delivered me until June 5 and my wedding was June 14... NONE of the dresses fit my Bridesmaids... I said NONE OF THE DRESSES FIT MY BRIDESMAIDS... it was like the dresses were running two sizes smaller... I was able to get two of the largest dresses altered to a smaller size and the other dresses I wasn't able to to NOTHING with... when I requested a refund for the two dresses that I wasn't able to use... they wanted me to take pictures and measurements of the dresses again... I should not have to PROVE to a company that has been PAID IN FULL about their mistake and the BIG INCONVENIENCE that they caused me the BRIDE... my word should have been more than enough for them to REFUND my money for the two dresses... I could have asked for a refund for all the dresses since I had to find other dresses to fit my other Bridesmaids... the dresses didn't fit and could not be altered... I WILL NEVER ORDER ANYTHING FOR THIS COMPANY AGAIN... BE AWARE AND BE WARN... UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER.

Do NOT, I repeat, do NOT order a DRESS (other things I got were very nice though) from this company. Made the mistake of ordering a custom made wedding dress. Went to a PROFESSIONAL tailor for my measurements as well. Got the dress and it is AWFUL! Ordered "champagne", got brown (not a big deal could live w/it though). They completely screwed up sewing it. It "fit" but, i can't wear it because of how it was sewn. When I put it on, it was uneven EVERYWHERE! It does not fall correctly, it is higher on the right side than the left, the lining makes it rise too high in the front, the "train" was sewn up which screwed up the back, etc. They didn't even include the "loops" for me to button the dress up! Also, even though I can easily do this, they didn't even "finish' it correctly (ie: clip hanging threads, trim up the lace, etc). Of course you can't "talk" to them so, I emailed them my complaints, sent them 48, yes 48, pictures of the errors and this is their response to me:

Since we are custom made, there will exist the a little deviation, and that is unavoidable.
All the dresses on our website are not ready in stock and made in batches, it is normal that they are not 100% same with the pictures. There is also some difference between the fabrics in the pictures and the fabrics from our suppliers. Light effect and computer screen display enlarge the difference too.

As we are customer-made, all the dress is made according your requirement, Actually, the dress can not be second sold if return.
Jugding from your pic, there is not big problem of the dress. The embroidery arround the dress is by handmade and in high quality, if the dress size fit you well, it is perfect.

Like all these other people, I didn't see the reviews before I decided to buy my dresses with them because I saw big companies like PAYPAL, DHL and all the big banks backing their payment system so I instantly assumed that they are an okay merchant.

After I made my payment ytd at around 4pm++ in the afternoon, I decided to check the reviews of this company and lo and behold, I found TONNES of terrible reviews and I got scared so I tried to cancel my order within a few hours from my purchase. But, dressale.com refuse to refund me my money. There is also no cancel order button like they promised in their webpage under the cancellation policy.

I have sent them tonnes of emails, I have emailed paypal and I have informed my bank. Dressale.com is refusing to refund money for dresses that they have NOT yet even made. For god sakes, they have not even processed my order. In their email responses to my over 50 emails(I spammed them!), they are just beating around the bush and claiming that they make good dresses and in really TERRIBLE eng saying that they are a big company and they can't help it if they have the good fame. Seriously?! Bad reputation is not good fame. So they are trying to convince me to let them make my dresses. NO FREAKING WAY. They are still refusing to give me back my money for an order that has not even been processed! I have to harp on this fact!

These people are scums. Do not buy anything from them. I am questioning paypal in my country on their partnership with this company since part of their motto is to protect their buyers from fraudulent sellers. You should do the same with paypal in your country. I'm sorry all of you are going through hell trying to get your money back.

I have to give them a one, but if it were up to me I'd give them negative 1 million... I ordered my daughter's flower dress from here. I paid $145 for it. When it came in the mail it was not the correct color. With being strapped for time due to the shipping taking over two months, I hurriedly contacted a private bridal shop that can dye delicate fabrics. Upon arriving to the shop, we turned the dress right-side out (it was shipped inside-out) and it was HORRID. Looked absolutely NOTHING like the picture. The most hideous dress I have ever seen. They HOT GLUED flowers made of ribbon onto the dress which left hot glue residue everywhere on it. Horrified, I decided to just order a new dress from the store I was standing in, she opened her catalog and on the first page was the EXACT SAME PICTURE that was on Dressale.com! They were advertising this beautiful dress and sent their own version of it. The real dress is a Jordan design, which they just stole the picture from their catalog. I just ordered a the Jordan design for only $20 more. Give me a break. The prices are not EVEN reasonable for the terrible quality I received. When they fiy responded to my complaint they told me, "customers with high expectations will always disappointed" uhm no! Do not advertise something beautiful when yoh will send something terribly hideous in its stead. I'm currently in contact with the company that they stole the designs from, the BBB, and PayPal, who are all cooperating wonderfully. Luckily PayPal guaranteed me a full refund, just waiting for the company to let us know if they want the dress back. If anyone would like comparison pictures to dissuade you from ordering please feel free to contact me!

I WOULD ADVISE ANYBODY TO NEVER PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY! I WISH I HAD READ THE REVIEWS FIRST! THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR POLICY! THEY ARE OVERSEAS! I WENT THROUGH MY BANK TO TRY TO FILE A DISPUTE TO GET MY MONEY BACK. THIS COMPANY SAID THAT MY BANK DID A CHARGEBACK AFTER THEY FINALLY SENT THE DRESSES TO ME. THE DRESSES WERE HEAVY AND NOT LIKE THE PICTURE AND I DIDNT WANT THEM ANYWAY. I SENT THE DRESSES BACK AND NOTIFIED MY BANK OF MY ACTIONS TO CONTINUE THE DISPUTE. I FIND OUT THAT THE COMPANY VALIDATED THE TRANSACTION! SO NOW THEY HAVE MY $300+ AND THE MERCHANDISE... AND I SPENT $60 TO SEND THE STUFF BACK... AND I AM NOT GETTING ANY OF MY MONEY BACK! I AM VERY ANGRY AND I FILED A COMPLAINT WITH THE FCC AND NEVER HEARD ANYTHING BACK... SO I FILED A COMPLAINT ON MY BACK AND DRESSALE.COM WITH THE BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU! IT MAY NOT HELP... BUT I WANT TO BE HEARD AND THEY SHOULD READ THE COMPLAINTS ON THIS COMPANY AND SHUT THEM DOWN FOR ALL THE COMPLAINTS. I WONDER IF I WROTE THE PEOPLE IN THE GOVERNMENT... WILL THEY INVESTIGATE THE RIP OFFS AND ISSUES WE HAVE HAD WITH THIS COMPANY?

I can't express my hate for this company enough. I ordered a dress for my niece. I should have known better since my computer warned me about opening the link. We got the dress and it was made from a really cheap material and did not fit at all. In the photo on the website, it was a cute mini-dress. However, on my niece (who is tall), it came way beneath her knees. The waist was also 4.5 inches too big and the bust was too small. I had to "chat" with an operator first since no return address was listed on the site, and, in broken English, I was told I had to email customer service. This was where the horror begin. I was then told that they has spent a lot of time and money on the dress, and that it fit perfectly - and that I had to take PHOTOGRAPHS of the dress while I MEASURED it (bust, waist, hips). I was incredulous - but it was like talking to a brick wall. Finally, I measured the dress and took pics, and, in fact, it was not even made according to the measurements on their own stupid charts listed on their website. When I sent the pics, they still wouldn't believe me. I also sent a pic of the model on their website, in which the hem of the dress ended a foot above her knee, as well as the "Satisfaction Guaranteed" sign on their website - I even included a photo of me holding the dress up to my body. I am a 6.1 man, and the hem of the dress comes down to my knees. In addition, I pointed out that the material is already fraying, and that there is no label anywhere that states what kind of material was used. What followed was a lot of back and forth, with them maintaining that they made the dress correctly, and that it was custom made - even though I just ordered a size 4 - and that it took over ten days to make. I then pointed out that that was a lie since there were only 8 days between the time I ordered the dress and the time it was shipped. They even had the gall to say I should take the dress to have it fitted. Finally they offered a 15% refund - at which I scoffed - and then 20% - at which I still scoffed. I am still dealing with this fiasco. I have lodged a complaint with PayPal and told them they shouldn't let this company use their service. AVOID THESE THIEVES AT ALL COST!

I ordered what looked like a beautiful lace dress from this site. The dress did get delivered on the day they said it would however, it did not come delivered in a nice box they way they said it would. My dress came in ripped up bag that looked like it came from a grocery store. Then when I started to look at it I found how incredibly poorly it was made. Besides being the itchiest fabric ever there are areas all over the lace that are frayed or cut. There is a hole big enough for me to fit three fingers in in the top layer. I got custom measurements but apparently they don't know how to do that because it was so tight around my legs that I couldn't sit down. I asked for (and paid for) extra length to be added because I am already tall and want to wear heels. The dress satin lining doesn't touch the top of my feet, so there is no way I could wear heels with out them showing. The illusion neck line has way too much fabric and goes way up my neck, almost like a turtle neck. The buttons and zipper are not put on straight. For that matter the dress isn't straight and sits ever so slightly off to one side. The sash they made is a complete joke. It wasn't sewn together all the way, plus the beading looks like something a kid did at summer camp. It looks nothing like the antique beading that the picture on the site showed. When I submitted a ticket to complain I was told to email them only to have each email I sent get an undelieverable email message back. I submitted another ticket and I am waiting to hear back. If it's like other reviewers I don't want to pay to ship it back and pay a restocking fee. This is just ridiculous. I wish I would have found these reviews before I bought my dress.

O. K. I ordered a custom size wedding dress, when it arrived months later after emailing them every day and chatting online it finally arrived. I was promised that the dress would arrive before my wedding day, and all I can say is that I was pleased I got the dress a month before my actual wedding date because there would have been no way it would have arrived in time. I placed the order 3 months prior. So the dress finally arrives, it was shooved into a small DHL bag like it was a rag. The dress, was so massive and although it was very close to the picture after viewing it I nearly died with dissapointment. The dress was really shoddy made and the bead work looked crap! I was very fortunate, I was flying out a few days later to Bali. It was there, that I had the dress completely fixed and another one made in a Black for a ball I will attend soon. I paid 160 AUD for the dress and it cost me about 40AUD to have it fixed, and now it is beautiful. I dont know the name of the dress designer, but the shop is loctaed across from the Waterbomb Park in Kuta, well worth seeing the dressmakers there to fix any hickups. I will never order another dress on line, you live and your learn and in my case, I managed to salvage and beautiful dress from it. Good luck ladies

14rd Of January 2014.
Our Wedding is on the 8th of Feb.
So we paid them NZ$185 for the dress for starters. Didn't say we needed anything else with the dress. Size picked, and delivery was assured before our big day.
First we get an email asking for measurements. Then another saying that we needed a petticoat, so an extra NZ$55 was spent, now NZ$240 has been spent.
Today 23rd of Jan we get an email saying because of the up coming Spring Festival they wouldn't be able to deliver till 20th of Feb.
We have asked to cancel the order since they haven't even started processing the order and get a refund. Unfortunately my partner didn't do her research before buying from this site. I asked her which site, did my research after the fact, She wanted the dress to be a surprise, that's why I looked up after the fact. I had found reviews on this site which were ALARMING! Told her we would either get a dressed that's badly made, no get it on time, and or not get our money back. She tried to tell me I was being paranoid, but I knew I was right!
They keep emailing her trying to offer her to get it rushed through, or offering her other things we don't want. From what i've read so far, they are playing the delay tactics as PayPal have a 45 day refund policy, they will try and mess you around so by the time you realise, you miss out on making a claim with PayPal.
We have 2 children and live of my single income, so now we have to borrow from friends to get a local made dress.
They are scam artists!
We have emailed them demanding a refund and cancellation of our orders.
We have also put in x2 disputes to PayPal to start the recovery process and they can not be trusted.

Lesson for my partner is, always do your research first!
