I want to turn in www.dresssale.com Fraud and scam total.

They have the worst service and plus I am going get marry next month i order on Oct 19. I told them right of the bat I need the dress whole thing white the mess it up. I get a phone call this last Sunday www.Dressale.com that the mess up. He wouldn't give me reason what happened. I told the company i want there phone number everything they said they don't do that. I said i want a refund. They gave it back like 1 day then took it back. Then I get a message that they send it to me I don't want it at all. They have the worst Custer service. I try to talk to be people before I never been treat like in my tired life every. I think they need to refund everyone money. They treat people unfriend. Plus i try to talk to those people and they would even talk to me on the chat windows at all they would hang up on me all the time or stop talk to me also I thought that would total rude. I would say are you there hello no one would answer back. They did that to me 4 times. I of those Lady, Men was tell me you never pay your bill she said you order 2 of them i said what are you talk about i never order 2. I had to prove that I pay it, she was treat really rude to her I told her I wanted my refund she told me they would call you 12 hours they never did. Before that Sunday night they say they will get in touch with you 24 hours i never heard from the company also at what so ever. This is why i want my money back they don't even tell you what they are doing. This is another reason they should have a phone if some going on they should give it to you if some going you can get in touch with them. Instead of this stupid chat window and get with this rude people don't know what going at all they are very rude in the first place. They didn't even listen to me. I don't want nothing to do with them they have the worst site i ever been at in my life. I think everyone shouldn't ever go there again. Report them. Get them off then they will get lose there site and total and they will not be on busy no more. They will have better company that will help people that them. We don't need people who rip off people and wont refund your money at all. You never get your dress or they mess them up or mess them up. We need to take them down. They have did the worst for me. I need my money back for real. I know there been other people Complaint on them also. I want them taken care of thank you for my time. I am only 5 foot tall.

THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR RETURN POLICIES

THEY DO NOT HONOR THEIR RETURN POLICIES. I attempted to cancel an order I placed within 24 hours. According to their websites return policy, they state you are entitled to a full refund. They are not honoring their own policy. I also received several voice messages from them trying to work something out so I either keep the dress or exchange it through them. They left no return number. The caller ID number doesn't work and you cannot find a number on their website.

We are going on a week now of trying to get them to cancel my order and here is their response:

Dear customer,
Thanks for your shopping with Dressale. Sorry to hear that you want to cancel the order, if you do, there will be a series of fees, such as Paypal Transaction Fees, Order Information System Processing Fees, Product Procurement Operation Fees etc, which will be certain economic loss for you. Thus, we do hope that you can reconsider it. For cancellation, several options are offered to you so that we can handle the order in a better way.
If you can keep the order, you can enjoy one of the following promotions:
A1.We will send you an extra gift. You can choose any item(which must be lower than 15% of your original product's price) from our website, such as clothing, jewelry, shoes and so on.
A2. You have the right to exchange the item you ordered. Feel free to choose any other item, just make sure its price is lower than 115% of your original item's price. When you are ready, tell us the item code, then we will change it for u.
A3.If you keep the order, a partial refund of 7.5% will be returned to your original account or 15% refund will be returned to your dressale account, which can be used for your future purchase. Which one do u prefer?

Tip for consumers:

This does not appear to be a legitimate business. A legitimate business cancels/ returns orders without issue. They are very responsive via email but it's apparently the only way to get in touch with them unless they call you and you are available to take their call.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SITE! Awful customer service!

I wish I had found these reviews on this site before ordering from DresSale.com.

I went to place an order for a flower girl dress and during the checkout, the cart cleared and my order was no longer in the cart. So I started over again and ordered the identical items. I completed the order with no problem the second time around. Shortly after, I received an email saying that the payment information didn't go through, so I needed to resend the payment information. I did.
About an hour later, DresSale customer service reached out to me (to their credit) to say they noticed the duplicate order. They wanted me to confirm the duplicate or if I didn't want it, they would issue me store credit. I immediately responded to say the duplicate order was an error (with their system), and to just refund my money to my bank card. They keep trying to get me to take a store credit.We have had more than 12 emails going back and forth as they keep saying to refund my money, they would need to deduct a PayPal fee and an Order Information Processing Fee. Their own website states full refund if order is cancelled within 24 hours. In my case, I cancelled the order within about 2 hours.
This company has no workers in the US. There is no way to call them. The people I've dealt with through email have been resistant to resolving this matter. For example this is the most recent correspondence from them:
"Dear Customer,
As there will be handling fee happened if transnational money transfering through paypal or credit card.
The handling fee is for bank, but not for us.we paid it immediately when you make the order, so, if you want to cancel the order and refund through paypal or credit, You need to pay for the charge, because we don't earn from this order, we can not let us loss too much.
As for the Order Information Processing System fee. It cost by system operation.
We never find excuse for the inexistent reason. Your understanding will be highly appreciated.

I am now going to dispute this charge through my bank.

And now I see reviews about the bad quality, so I may just order a dress through a reputable site, as the scheduled delivery date is a week before my event, so I won't have time to get a replacement if the order is delayed or the quality is bad. So even with the order that went through, I have lost all confidence in this company.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY! They are not willing to correct their mistakes or issue refunds when they are in the wrong! The product they ship you is not what they describe.

I ordered this dress in white in custom measurements. The item they sent me looks nothing like the dress in the photo. The v-neck bodice is not as low. The back is straight, not in a v-shape. The hem is crooked. All the seams are puckered. The dress is not made from satin and lace, it is made from rayon. The sleeves do not have lace on them, they have beading, and so much of it that it makes the dress to heavy to wear. The hem of the dress should be tight fitting, yet it was very loose. The sleeves should be tight fitting, yet they were very loose. The lace on the back of the dress and some of the appliques are not even sewn onto the dress properly so that they are just barely hanging onto the dress by a thread, literally. The workmanship overall of this dress was extremely poor, especially for the price I paid for it. When I supplied photos and description to the company, their response? "If I would take it to a local tailor to be adjusted, they would give me a discount on my next purchase." I am just out the money I spent on this dress then because I WILL NOT be purchasing any more items from this company!

Another item in my order, a white faux fur shrug with pearls, was supposed to have a ROW of pearls on the shrug. Instead the item they sent me had a GIANT ROUND BROOCH of pearls. Also, be aware that this shrug attaches/closes with a safety pin. When I reported their mistake to the company, their response was that "as long as the quality of the item we sent you was good, we will not replace or send you a refund". It wasn't even what I ordered! Now I am stuck with something I didn't want!

Another item in the same order was a personalized wedding car cling. The item is supposed to be 11.02 inches high by 21.65 inches wide. The item I received was 6 inches high by 11 inches wide. The date was in the incorrect format. They used an European date format. The font shown in their picture is not what is used. The colors requested in the order is not what they send you. The item is cut out by hand. Very cheap overall.
Nowhere near worth the $16.00 I had to pay for this item!

And to top things off, I paid for expedited shipping and it took 28 days to get my order. When it arrived, everything was stuffed into an envelope half the size of the dress, even though it says on their website that they ship in a lining bag and cardboard box.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE don't make the same mistake so many of us have by ordering from this horrible company!

This place is quite possibly the worst site run company I have ever dealt with.

I was looking for an inexpensive, simple dress for our beach wedding in the beginning of May. I came across dressales's website on a google search and found this simply yet pretty dress, reasonably priced. I had to get it quick because in a few hours, it wouldn't be on sale anymore (haha. It's still on sale for the same price, by the way. Scam #1). I went and ordered one. Paid the extra $20.00 for custom sizing and another $25.00 for better than average customer service. I received a call right after I placed my order. And struggled to understand the person on the other end. After several back and forths to confirm everything, we parted ways and I was told I'll have my dress on March 31st.

That is the only thing that went as planned... the dress was here on March 31st... in a sad little plastic bag... wrinkled so badly it'll need dry cleaning. On further inspection. Omg. This thing looked like it could've been sewn by a 5 year old! Uneven hems, unfinished edges along the front pleats, fabric folded into a finishing seam, fraying edges, strings everywhere, and uneven pleats. I was like ok. It'll take some doing, but maybe I can fix it. Then I tried it on. It's like sucked onto my hips and my shoulders are popping out of the stupid thing. Really?! Measured it... I told them to make the hips 45.5 inches, it measures on the back end@ 22 inches. 22 + 22 does not equal 45.5! I'm sorry. And if if was@ exactly 45.5 inches. It would still be wrong because there's no tolerance for a person to wear it.

I contacted Dressale and told them the problem and asked what do I do to get this dress back to them and get my money back... let the marathon of the run around begin. They want pictures and 3 days to decide IF they're going to refund me my money. I sent them pictures in a PDF format showing them the issues in each picture and a description what they were supposed to be looking at. Evidently their customer service team is not only insanely unprofessional. (I think the same kid making the dress is the same kid servicing their customer service desk), they are rude as well! They also can't figure out how to open a PDF file. Or say they can't. So they ask for pictures again. I replied back that the PDF has a whole bunch of pictures in it, they then tell me to email it to this other email address. Completely fed up and needing my money refunded soon so I can replace the dress, I have now escalated the claim with Paypal. I'm awaiting the decision as I type.

If you're a bride on a budget. Don't be lured in by the prices. It's going to cost you a lot more in the end. Go to some place reputable like David's bridal or find something at a little mall boutique store. I wish I had... This whole experience has been a total nightmare.

It's been over 2 months since my last dealing with dressale.com and they are still haunting me. I'm now receiving threatening emails from them, telling me if I don't send back their dress, they'll "never stop harassing" me and they plan on "exposing' my deceitful behavior on every social media site they could think of. Ie facebook, twitter, etc.

Here's some insight on what happened:
The original decision by paypal was as follows, they would refund me the full purchase price if I mailed back the dress to the seller. I agreed. When I went to mail it back, I found out the least expensive route would cost me $90.00. My dress had cost me $136.00, which would have only given me $46.00 back. I contacted paypal and spoke to a representative. She said she would contact the seller, which she did and will let me know what they said. I checked back a couple days later and the next rep I spoke to said they never responded to the 1st representative's request. It was then decided by paypal to issue me a full refund without mailing back the dress since it was so much to do so. Paypal was the at risk party, Dresssale got to keep the full purchase price of the dress.

I've contacted paypal, who were again wonderful and suggested I file a report on www.ic3.gov. They instructed me to ignore dressale's emails and block them. They also reassured me that it was paypal, not dressale that issued the refund, therefore, dressale never lost any money.

Please, please do yourselves a favor unless you enjoy getting harassing emails from fraudulent sites, don't buy from these guys!
