I booked flights through them in October last year; the flights were cancelled a week after; they gave me the option of a refund, which I still haven't received it.
I've been calling them and emailed them all this time, and they keep saying the same thing - due to the volume of requests, it's been delayed. Please allow us some more time.
It's the first time I have experienced an agency taking so long to process a refund, so I believe they won't give it back.
Excuse after excuse! The currant situation! No refund received yet.

Used this travel agent for a return trip to Melbourne back in Jan 18' absolute joke. Take your money then wait until about a month before flight to book to try and get them cheaper. Also changed flights from original so had to get hotel for the night in Melbourne before my onward journey.
Terrible service from DW. Sucked in by cheap flight prices, should have known better. I won't bore you with my story, but avoid DW at all costs - terrible company, terrible service. Have seen some positive reviews elsewhere but can only assume these are fake.
I booked tickets 2 weeks ago for my family to go on holiday and I received an email last Friday saying that my flight has been cancelled because there were no seats. What a stupid excuse. I asked for a refund but still not had it yet. It ruined my family holiday and left without money. I m suing them and hopefully getting my money back. Fuming
Like many of you - sold a flight which did not exist. Did not inform us of cancellation. Got money back from credit card company. Dream World challenged with dodgy evidence. Got fed up and contacted police (Action Fraud).
Avoid and report to police.
Booked a flight for my wife to Australia in March 2020 at a ridiculously low price with Singapore Airlines. Got a booking ref. Not for the airline. Phoned S'pore Air to check booking as their site said the ticket had not been issued and was told that it was because Dream World had not paid them.
Went back to Dream World and took a firm line with the agent. Was told the booking was in their automated system and would be processed when it came to the top of the queue!
20 mins later the ticket and booking was confirmed by the airline and seats were booked on line.
£674 for a return flight London to Sydney with Singapore Airline is an absolute steal.

Please avoid this company! It's a nightmare not a dream. I booked tickets for 4 people last year 2020 my flights was cancelled, they told me would charge £400 in fees and give me a refund in 12-24 weeks! Guess what 28 weeks on and no refund yet! Disgusting company no respect for the costumer I'm desperate for my money and they are just tell me to wait a few more weeks
My flight purchase didn't go through because of problems from their end. They promised to refund me in full but only refunded part of my purchase. When I complained they said its not their problem.
Don't use this company.
Still waiting to get my refund for a flight cancelled by them in July/20! Every time that I contact them, I receive the excuse that they have a huge backlog and keep postponing the date of payment! Really shame!
This travel agency has nothing to do with the customer service they are prioritizing company police above the customer. Friend of mine booking has been cancelled for no reasons, agent's offer no empathy, putting customers on hold for too long, having rude behavior and bad attitudes, its a bad customer experience. This is an advice to all the people out there DO NOT Book or Reserve any tickets through this travel agency.
This is the very bad agency that I bought tickets from them because I had to contact them more than 5 times due to a problem that occurred to me and I wanted to change or cancel the date of my ticket, but each time they turned the phone off without any help.

The flights i booked to see my sons after a year and a half, were booked and paid for on the 10th February 2022 for flights leaving London to South Africa on the 17th July 2022 and returning 28th August 2022.
Dream World Travel never made the bookings with the airlines concerned. Upon phoning the airlines on the 17th July 2022 for seat bookings we were advised that the booking was never paid for or confirmed by Dream World Travel – even though attached confirmation emails and tax invoices were received – see attachments.

I booked early in February 2022 in order to get the price, now with the scam/mismanagement from Dream World Travel, the last minute flights to get my sons to me is going to cost an additional R100,000.00
Which I found very odd. We then waited and waited and then contacted them. Who assured us they will be with us soon.
We of course waited and waited and now the flights are coming soon I called the flight company directly who they said there is no bookings in either of our names for any flight.
We now have trading Standards investigating this. Anyone else please contact me as I aim to put a stop to this company Stealing thousands of pounds from unsuspecting people. Basically at the end of the day some get there flights some don't... Some also appear to get something totally different to whats purchased as well... Remember that If you see a deal with them as quite Often it really is not!
Also be warning trying to speak to a Human in the UK is almost Impossible as well. When you do speak to them and it takes a lot of effort you just get lied to!
My son is still owed £1890 from this poor excuse of a travel agent. Paid in March '20, due to Covid, all flights were cancelled. Dreamworld know this yet they keep trying to 'buy' time by offering travel vouchers even though we have been clear that we want a straight refund.
Completely unscrupulous business practices - not sure how much longer they will be getting away with this because I for one, am heading to the small claims court.

Booked 3 tickets 3 weeks ago and paid.
Customer service will keep you over the phone waiting for 1 hr after which the line gets cut. Some times" this number not in use " message is heard.

When they do reply by email that will be unsatisfactory.

I was literally about to pull the trigger on a £3k flight booking when I noticed the company address didn't look quite right. Some due diligence brought me here and the many negative reviews (plus fake positive ones).

Having read the reviews by now you will already know that this is not a business you should be giving your money to. Dreamworld took money for tickets that were reserved in the airline system but never paid for and ticketed and so expired 72 hours later. Since then they have deferred, obfuscated and lied about what is happening and not booked the original or alternate flights and instead offered a refund an indeterminate future time. Simply avoid and save yourself the heartache. Thank god I paid with my credit card and they are treating the charge as fraudulent on my behalf.
This company is a scam, they cancelled my flights less than 24h after my booking, told me that i would need to pay an extra £300 because flights rate increased meanwhile, the price told was even higher than what the flight company offered on their website. I am fighting now to get refunded but it has been weeks now and still nothing. They stopped to answer to my e-mails and never phoned back. I wish I would have seen the reviews first before spending thousands pounds with them. As from what I can see it is clear they are paying for fake feedbacks in trustpilot.
I cancelled my flight and informed Dream World one week before as they requested. Was given a refund ref number. Was promised to receive refund in 2 weeks. I gave it 3 weeks, opened the screen, entered my ref number-NO RECORD EXISTS. Tried to phone refund team-no success. Tried to call Sales-got through immediately. They said yes-there is my reference-wait. I waited another 2 weeks. Then I emailed them-was asked to wait another 8 weeks. Today Iphoned Belavia airlines myself-they told me cancellation has never been requested. All I can do is to write bad revues. I am afraid these thieves will go bust and reopen using a new name and will continue to steal from people
Answer: Scam do not use, automated replies no refund since March 6th. Been emailing everyday since. Emailed trading standard and reported as fraud. Sent email to my local MP.
Answer: Prepare to do a charge back with your credit card company as soon as possible and buy the tickets directly from the airline. In most cases you will be at airport with no tickets and Dream World Travel will keep claiming that you got the tickets until you have lost the will to pursue your money back. This is their modus operandi.
Answer: Beware. If DWT has not given you a refund (like to hundrerds of others), you might do these: Immediately inform your bank if you used their services and they should help you issue a chargeback. If they cannot help because of the 6-8 weeks 'waiting time' then immediately email DWT to refund within 15 days. If you still dont get it within this, and you used bank transfer/services, credit/debit card, call bank and ask for a chargeback. For credit card one could issue a section 75. If you used other payment methods, ask the company to issue chargeback. One option is to use small claims court or lawyer. Do not waste time, take action right now. Only the bank or court can get any refund due. Once you have done the work for refund, inform action fraud to help save others too. Copy and share this genuine review that i made from my experience to help others too. I only rated this 4 star so it shows at the top for others to read, and for those people who do not click 1or2 star ratings to see the truth. Only people who personally know the DWT staff have had good experiences. Otherwise the rest had a nightmare with DWT.
Answer: They are massive con artists, so you are unlikely to ever get them, or, they will wait until close to the departure of your flights and either ask you for more money, or change the dates and/or times of your flights, because they haven't booked them in advance. Contact Ealing Trading Standards.
Answer: Inform your credit card company that you have not authorised this and according to internet resources this is a scam. If the credit card company has authorised it already, you can do a charge back. Keep declining as in the end you will win.
Answer: Still waiting 4 months on. Empty promises is all Im getting.
