Ordered Subway and it was supposed to be delivered by doordas. It never showed and I have not received a refund even though I have talked with them several times.

I am a faithful customer of doordash. Me and a family member made an order today, 11 am same time, different accounts, same location. Her order came right away. Mine NEVER CAME, so I cancelled it. Tried again at 8pm tonight, once again, never assigned a dasher. Contacted support by phone and the rep kept cutting me off, putting me on hold mid sentence, so I decided to contact them through chat message while still on the phone with rep. Chat rep found me a dasher, but phone rep cancelled my order while dasher was on the way because the call disconnected after I told her a dasher was found and she continued to tell me that was not true. Supervisor for door dash called, and continued to cut me off while explaining the situation NEVER recieved my order AGAIN and gave me door dash credits instead of a refund to my account. DO NOT TRUST DOORDASH!
No, actually, your application's dysfunction are a result of bad programming, not my 2 phones.
And, your customer service people refer to buttons and menus that do not exist. Maybe they are referring to the iphone app (I'm on Android).
But there is no excuse when your application is literally telling me "go left" at the same time another voice (from Google Maps -- which YOU launched by the way) says "go right"
Nor, is it acceptable that you send me 17 miles each way for a dash, which I only accepted because the Map was in the way of your app, and the Dasher has 45 seconds to respond -- causing a panic.
The result is when you factor in gas and car expenses, the net income is around $3 an hour. Less than slum Indian wages. And, certainly illegal in America.
• Your app is faulty to the point of absolute liability for Door Dash if there was an accident. Easily provable on two separate cell phones including a brand new $1100 Samsung Galaxy s22Ultra.• Your app does not have the menus and features your customer support refer to. They DO NOT exist.• Your scheduling is flawed -- I arrived 45 seconds after I received an order and it was already STOLEN from a Chick-a-Fila and wasted another 30 minutes (unpaid) on the phone with Customer Support.• Your app gives conflicting directions, causing DANGER to the public.
The shiny nice intro videos are false advertising to potential employees who in good faith want to serve the public and make some extra money.
DOORDASH is a joke and a massive target for litigation against them.
They Don't care. DoorDash is long on automated apologies and short on driver oversight. Is it too difficult to CHECK the order before delivering it? I am constantly missing items and/or getting someone else's food instead of mine. The Dasher always says the same thing, "Call the restaurant-I trusted them."
Your job is simple! Check the order-deliver the order. The quality of the DoorDash service takes a nosedive every time they hire a negligent and uncaring Dasher. Even more upsetting is seeing the driver take twice as long getting to me with my meal, ignoring the freeway on-ramp right next to the restaurant and taking back roads while making other stops before delivering my meal. Enjoy your cold spicy chicken sandwich, fries and melted milkshake! They just don't care. And the names of the driver's are made of the stuff Matadors step in! Karen turned out to be a dude! Like I said, zero oversight. DoorDash has earned a poor rating by being as apathetic about the quality of their delivery service as their drivers are. Great idea for a business but this is the worst execution of a business plan I have seen. Automate everything including the apology, rake in the coin and ignore the obvious problems plaguing your company.
This was my last order they literally screw it up 50% of the time. Check the order-deliver the order, seems pretty simple right? Not for Dashers. Time to try the other guys. This review drafted after placing several dozen orders... probably close to 80 of em.
The service isn't perfect. Orders are sometimes perfect and sometimes not as accurate, but what sets DoorDash at the top of my list of food delivery services (for those times I can't or am lazy and don't want to go out myself) is that DoorDash stands by their service. They make it easy to share mishaps and gladly compensate for errors! I can't say that about other services! With DoorDash, you don't even have to talk to someone unless you desire to do so! Problems are able to be addressed right there on the app! Easy! Professional! And the drivers come right up to your front door! (Postmates drivers stay in their car in the driveway until you come out searching after your doorbell never rings.)
Other services promise $100 free in delivery charges for your first month. Don't fall for their ploy! They pad food prices above what the driver pays the restaurant and still charge a service fee which their website states is 9%, yet, somehow the fee is much highercloser to 21%! When the issue is addressed, they don't clarify they just say, "No, that's the right price." And Menus are not even from the restaurants! They just pull from non-restaurant online menu sources!
I am not affiliated with DoorDash; after what I just went through with PM, I hope to help others avoid being ripped off and left hungry!
Bottom line: DoorDashGood; PM and other food delivery services like themBad.
I have not seen my mother for over one year due to COVID. She just turned 73 and I wanted to send her her favorite desserts. Additionally, we lost my father before that so it is terrible she has to celebrate alone.
I ordered from DoorDash under their ‘New' gift service. You can have them deliver and they send a virtual card to the recipient and they can also follow the delivery.
My Mom was excited because she got the invite to follow the driver and was so excited she called me to thank me.
Then I got a call back from her and she said the driver stopped and she still had not received anything.
I spoke to a representative from Doordash. They were located out of the country. She did not see how it was their fault that I did not receive my food since their drivers car broke down. She told me she cancelled the order and would return my money and that was the end of it. No responsibility taken.
She would not offer a credit or a gift certificate or anything for me or my Mom. She simply said I could reorder and buy it again at full price and that was all they are willing to do. I then told her that I just missed my Mom's birthday and that is too late to order again. She acted like that was my problem and that I should just reorder and pay on another day then.
This is a huge fail. They have no moral compass at Doordash. They are responsible for their door dashers, period. They can go F themselves.
Didn't order thr food but driver blocked the street thrn decided to swear an threaten me. Reported to customer service an they didnt care at all! Worst business ever!
I can't even give them a star. I ordered an Arby's meal with a total of $57.27. My bank account was charged $80.44. Not to mention the dasher forgot some of the food that was ordered so I had to go to Arby's myself and pick up what was missed. The dasher offered to pick up what was missing and then said never mind. I complained to door dash about my service and driver. I was offered a $13 credit and a $10 credit. Not a single person can explain to me why my total was $57 but I was charged $80. I asked for a full refund and was hung up on. I have called back several times and even had a conversation through the app and not a single person will explain the over charge. I am being told my account is going to be credited $23 which equals the total of the meal in the first place. I am furious and will NEVER order from this place again. This is FRAUD even after I show pictures of what my total is $57.27 on door dash and then what I was charged I was ignored and pretty much told oh the promotion didn't work too bad. I asked for a refund several times and the corporate number and was told there is no number. I am disgusted and will be going on every sight I can with this review. Try Grubhub or someone who will not try and steal your money. I Will NEVER use this company again.
We work in a doctor's office and had lunch scheduled to be delivered, in between clinics. Our suite number had been included in our order. Tracking the order, it showed the driver was at our location, but he never came up to our office. I then went downstairs and was told by the security guard, the driver walked in, didn't know where to go and went outside to make a phone call 3 minutes prior. I walked outside and he was no where in sight. He tried calling my home phone, which was on the order, but obviously did not let it ring enough for someone to answer and did not leave a message. I was able to contact DoorDash and found the driver had told them he couldn't find us, had a problem getting hold of someone and donated our lunch to a homeless person. To say that I was livid, was an understatement. At that point the options were a full refund, which would take 7-10 business days or resend the order, which would take another 45-60 minutes. There was no choice but to have the order redone, even though it was going to probably be delivered during clinic time. I saw who the driver was and did state he is never to deliver for us again. None of us were happy how this ended up and none of us ever want him to deliver to any of us in the future. Of course, we're all wondering if we should ever use DoorDash, again.
First of all the Non American Incompetent Representatives You get when You call are nothing but liars and just give You the runaround if god forbid You come across any issues with an order etc, I recently got tried out the supposedly Free Trial thing for Dash Pass and cancelled it right away to find out the thieves charged Me $9.99 and I was told it would be refunded within 5-7 days etc by a handful of Incompetent Reps and then when I had to call for the 13th time in a 4 day period I found out that I was actually not going to get refunded for the $9.99 I was wrongfully charged for a free trial that was cancelled right away, I ended up having to open a Credit Card Dispute with My Bank and file Complaints with BBB, CRA, FTC, etc and now having to leave Negative Reviews all over the Internet, unless You want to be lied to and stolen from I wouldn't suggest using Doordash to have anything Delivered.
After waiting for my food for 3 hours after my scheduled delivery time, the Dasher picked up the food and then cancelled my order. I am left to assume they enjoyed my $140 worth of bar-b-que and were never to be heard from again. Customer support at DoorDash was totally worthless. They offered no solutions and no restitution. I WOULD AVOID DOORDASH AT ALL COSTS.
DoorDash is by far the worst of all the delivery apps. Were you hoping not to receive an item you ordered? Or to receive *at least* one incorrect item? Or to have to wait 20+ minutes for the delivery person after they've already left the restaurant that was only five minutes from your house? All while paying not only $9.99 for DashPass (which is a rip-off, by the way, because there is still a delivery fee for most restaurants) and ordering twice a week, but also having to pay the additional DoorDash fees with each order and tipping well, but then getting attitude from your slow delivery person and ending up with cold food every time. If DoorDash support was actually helpful and/or would re-imburse me, that would be one thing, but I can't even change the tip amount (where I'm tipping 18% for a person to go to a restaurant that's five minutes away from me and then call and expect me to come downstairs and outside to their car to meet them to get the food. What am I tipping you for? Because it's certainly not exceptional service). I've cancelled my DoorDash subscription and deleted the app. If I want delivery, I'll be using SkipTheDishes and UberEats from now on.
I got an incomplete order from Nando's. When I contacted the driver he said he couldn't go back there so I had to eat without the drink I paid for.
Bad service!
Worst customer service experience in YEARS! I asked for a simple callback and their escalations team was incapable of having someone call me back. Seriously you fraudulently charged my card twice AFTER I removed my billing details and then you can't be bothered to follow through with a callback... Seriously I would not EVER recommend this company. I will be sending social media and written inquiries to the companies that trust them in ERROR to delivier their food. WORST COMPANY EVER! AND YES I am saying that as a working single woman! WORST COMPANY EVER! I have chat transcripts if you would like to have copies... worst service
THEY DON'T DESEREVE EVEN ONE STAR. DONT TIP THESE PEOPLE. THEY STEAL FOOD OUT OF YOUR BAGS. THEY CANCEL AND STEAL THE WHOLE ORDER. DRIVERS ARE A BUNCH OF CRIMINALS. DO YOU REALLY WANT ONE TO COME TO YOUR HOME?
I made an order online through Walmart for delivery and they use Door Dash. The order that was just delivered was not delivered by the dasher assigned to my order but by some guy she knows who is "helping" her deliver orders. I tried to call her several times and the first time she picked up would not say anything. The other 7 times I tried to call it went straight to voicemail and the automated system said her voicemail is full. I was trying to make sure she found my place because it's literally behind 2 other houses and several delivery people have problems finding my place. Why is this dasher having this guy deliver orders for her instead doing it herself? He's not getting paid for it. It's a good thing I went outside and dude actually found my place. As you can see by the photo, they don't like to take pics of where they actually leave orders. Just the general vacinity. If I could actually call Door Dash and them look up my Walmart order I would report this dasher. As it is, I gave this dasher 1 star and no tip cause she never actually showed up herself. This is the most unprofessional thing I've ever seen, concerning delivery drivers. Smh.
I placed an order for 5 items for my coworkers and I through Door Dash. I selected "if sold out, go with merchant recommendation" for each item, since we were hungry. I tipped based on the original total for 5 items. I placed the order, and a couple of minutes later I got 4 separate emails saying "this item is sold out, you are being refunded." The thing is, none of the items they emailed me about were items I ordered. When I got the delivery, I only got 1/5 of the items I ordered. If 4/5 of the items are sold out, and 4/4 of the replacements are sold out, give me a call at that point and tell me what my options are. I called them and no one answered and the message said to "call back." I wasn't given a chance to adjust the tip based on the new total. The next day, I talked to a customer service rep from Door Dash and the only thing they offered me was to give me back my tip, out of the drivers pocket. I was appalled. I will never use Door Dash or go to Einstein Bros Bagels ever again.
Beware of door dash if you're hungry! My wife and I placed an order through door dash. I provided the driver with the specific location (building number and room number). The tracking showed that the driver drove past the hotel, and that the order was delivered, but it wasn't. I walked to the front gate of the hotel, and the security guard stated that nobody came from door dash. He stated that any delivery persons that enter the gate, must let the guard know where they are delivering to. The driver followed the route for door dash to make it appear that they came, just for tracking purposes, but drove past the hotel. I called the number that came up for the driver, which end up taking me back to door dash. I asked to file a complaint and was told by the person on the phone from door dash that she could not hear me, so she would have to disconnect the call. I called back and it was a long wait before someone answered the phone. When I finally got through, I explained to the next rep that I did not receive my order. The rep gave me an option to receive a door dash credit or have the monies refunded back to my account. I asked to have the monies credited back to my credit card, and they gave me a $17.00 door dash credit. The door dash rep was very apologetic, but it still did not help with our hu ger.
Hard to say whether DoorDash or Ubereats has the worst customer service. Food often goes to wrong address. DoorDash entices you to order by giving you a short delivery window with a total delivery time of about an 1.5 hours at the tail. After giving an initial delivery window and assigning a Dasher, they will update that the Dasher has other deliveries first, reassign your order when delivery is expected or show a Dasher at the store waiting when the Dasher is someplace else entirely. NO customer service available until 1.5 hour window expires. Then it's a hunt for the customer service number. If food is cold, no refund. If food is melted, no refund. Missing items, sometimes a refund, sometimes a partial refund. Poor packaging, leaks, bad food - no refund. The partial refunds are a fraction of what you paid. You have to claw back your tip when your service is bad. Often Dashers leave order outside the door and never tell you it's there (even when your app says "hand it to me." If ordering groceries/sun dries, check bag before Dasher leaves and know that your order will rarely contain your exact choices and substitutions often make no sense. DD knows their only competitors are Ubereats and the services they own, and Ubereats, has arguably, even worse customer service. Choose a service that lets you tip AFTER you get your order - and tip!
Answer: This place is a SCAM! Do not use this company ever
Answer: Grubhub has lower rates now. Even on restaurants with higher fees, it is worth avoiding Doordash
Answer: They first send you to a robot and then an outsourced person in India I believe. There is no communication between drivers and the customer service so it's unhepful
Answer: First, DoorDash collects a tip BEFORE you get service. I always tip, so should you. Ubereats lets you tip AFTER you get service - better. Caveat - getting your tip back from DoorDash for bad service is almost impossible.
