I can't believe this Online store can still be in business. They lie about the shipping only takes 5-8 days but hide about the long process time that takes 15-20 days before they even ship my stuffs which add up to a whole month if lucky. I ordered two items a month before thanksgiving and expecting that they would arrive before thanksgiving. After a week, it showed no status changed and they charged however they wanted on my credit card and changed the price and my charge (I donno they can actually do that without my consent). I emailed them for uncountable times and they copied and pasted The generic answers to me from FAQs without answering my questions. I asked them to cancel my order and they refused. Now I'm at their mercy that they are holding my order and my money forever. I see that everyone goes thru the same thing with them. I will try to dispute my card.

I was on shop disney ordering ALL of my sons Christmas gifts. I placed the order but the site said it didn't process because of a payment problem. It emptied my cart and then I had to redo the order. That order went through. Then I recieved an email for 2 orders! I called immediately, but they said it was already processing and the could not cancel it! I would be having 2 huge payments coming out of my checking at CHRISTMAS! They said that I had no other choice but to wait for the packages to arrive and return one. I would then have to wait however long it took them to get it back and refund my money! This whole thing has put me in a bind and disney didn't care or try to make it right in any way. Basically saying too bad so sad. When I got nowhere over the phone I tried the chat and they were legit rude and saying things that made me ask them "Are you messing with me?" It was like they were mocking me. When I went to screenshot the conversation it disappeared. I have messaged on Facebook and email asking for the transcript of the chat, because it was so ridiculous it's hard to believe. They have not replied to either. I will never shop with them again. No customer service or compassion. Oh and it has been 3 days and the order is still in processing and not shipped. Tell me why it couldn't be canceled minutes after it was placed!

I made an order three weeks ago and the package is still not shipped. This is Horrible! I brought those gifts for my colleagues as Thanksgiving gifts (I ordered a week before Thanksgiving) and now its almost Christmas. I called the guest service twice and they told me its process. FOR Three WEEKS? Ironically, they charged my credit card very fast.

I ordered 7 item from disney store since they dont have any in montreal i had to order online they have their free shipping when you order from us to us but they charge you 49 $ for shipping they say its for duties and taxe i just paid extra duties twice so 60$ duty and taxe so why charge 49 $ they just want your $#*!ing money
I made an order and when it arrived there was an item missing. The box was damaged and I rang and asked for help. Customer services were most unhelpful and said I to photograph the items I had received? Customer services then said I had to wait until they investigated and contacted couriers before they could help me further. Eventually they did send me the missing item but not in time for my grandaughters birthday.

I authorized for the purchase on line for $25.08 with my debit card.
Disney took it out from my account on the 12th of December.
December 14 Disney took out another 25.21 for the same order (mind you I did not authorize this amount only for 25.08)
So they took out $50.29 and was told by Disney this is a normal procedure because the 25.08 is on hold for so many days. Because of this it cause my account to be overdrawn, I would have $9 and some odd change after the authorized 25.08.
Now my bank charged me 36.00 for the overdrawn. So now My account is over drawn $56.
I have talked to Shay but all he wants to do is argue like its my problem. I asked for the supervisor and he refuse to do so.
Disney stole money out of my account and cause it to be overdrawn. Disney is thieving customer monies from their accounts

I purchased an item, they charged my credit card, and sent me an email that my item had shipped. When the UPS tracking link that they sent me hadn't worked after 3 days I contacted them and they told me the item was unavailable. Terrible customer service!
I read the bad reviews here... but only after I had to place my order three times! I have a gift card and used my Disney card as back up pmt. I was called soon after by rep who handled my order to tell me that my bill is actually going to be $29 more than I was told because I'm not using my Disney card for the entire purchase?
I canceled and tried again... new rep... now my Disney card isn't a valid form of pmt so I have to use a different credit card but won't get my 10% discount? Okay. Cancel that please!

Nope. Now I got an email that they're putting all the money on my Disney card! Because the gift card was previously used on another order. Um... the full balance is still on the card. I just checked. I'm so pissed I'm actually canceling the entire trip to Disney because I refuse to give them a dollar.
I tried, I mean I really tried to purchase an eGift Card. First, it took a long time to find where they were, I had to go to search. Then, there are no selections for different cards (come on this is Disney we are talking about)! Then, you work through the forms and you never know if you truly have an eGift card or regular gift card until the very end. I did not want to hit submit because I did not want a gift card being mailed so I abandoned my efforts and went to Toys R Us and was done in less than 3 minutes. I have been blessed enough to be a Disney Vacation Club member since 1998 and to have visited Disney World well over 50 times over the past 20 years, but this was testing my Disney loyalty and it failed - I had to go somewhere else.
So I bought a few items for my sister on the Disney store and it didn't ship, I contacted them multiple times, and had to call them to get a straight answer, over a week later I get told my items have finally shipped, a few hours later I get told one item that I purchased was no longer available and would not be included in my order. I called them and they told me the collectors item I had purchased over a week ago had sold out so they couldn't ship it to me, they offered me $10 in store credit.
Ridiculous way to treat customers, especially from a company the size of Disney!
I recently purchased a customized Jackson Storm T shirt for my son, naturally thinking this will be awesome because it's from Disney. However, upon receiving it I saw it was from Zazzle, and the quality is awful. The design was blurry with a white background (which there was not in the product image), and the shirt was rough and smelling of chemical, unlike the actual shirts they have in stock at the Disney store. Well, if I had looked closely when I purchased this I would've seen it was made by Zazzle (if I used a magnifying glass). Pffft. Never in a million years would I have thought Disney would allow unlicensed Disney products, AND to sell them on their site at Disney prices!
Anyway, I spoke to customer service, they couldn't refund me because it was customized, but, they said they would send me a $15 coupon.
I was at the London, Ontario store today to pick out some costumes I know my daughter would like (Princess Leia and Alice Through the Looking Glass). My daughter tried them out and chose the Princess Leia costume, but at the last minute chose a storm trooper costume. I asked her if she was sure and since she was I bought it for her. I overheard the lady who rang me up, Kacey, chatting with another employee about how I was trying to get my daughter into Princess costumes, yet my daughter chose to be a storm trooper instead. This employee was being snide and was trying to make me out to be some unreasonable demanding mother who pushes princess costumes on her daughter. Even after this I was trying to be polite to Kacey as we were leaving yet she snubs me before she remembered she was required to give the customary goodbye. Very rude employee with a chip on her shoulder.
1. They mixed up my order.
2. Tried to blame me and charge me for the part of the order they mixed up and told me I could just return it once I got it.
3. Said it was fixed and they would give me a $20 gift card to make up for it.
4. Then sent me an email saying I hadn't paid for the messed up part of the order and they couldn't ship my order with the gift card until I paid the balance.
5. Told me I would just need to call back the next day to confirm whether or not the internal email regarding the fact that I never received the part of the order they wanted to charge me for or they would not be able to ship out the order I made with the gift card.
6. All of this meant 3+ hours of my time wasted on the phone talking with 5 different people and now I'll need to talk again tomorrow.
Something needs to be done. This was terrible.
Ordered a costume for my grandaughter's birthday in a size 4 (March 3,2024). Well it came in no time but they sent a size 3. Called customer service and they told me to return the item and they will replace it with the correct size. Waited for a week only to see that just a label was issued with no movement of the package from UPS. When I called they told me that since there was no movement, it must have been lost and was sending me another costume with 2 day air. Again a label was issued but no movement for another week. When I called again, they said it was out of stock (didn't say that on line), let me talk to my supervisor. Oh and Disney had me call UPS to see if I could find anything out. Of course UPS said I need to call Disney. I said that they should be accountable and they should call. Then they told me that they would send out another costume, 2 day air. Reallly, Now it was in stock? Did I want to wait another week, it is now April 25th and I have to go to the birthday party. I cancelled the order after a month of not getting any satisfaction. Found a similar costume at Target and I'm getting it this weekend in time for the birthday party.
I ordered the item on the 14th of December with delivery before the 20th of December. They didn't even mark the item as dispatched until the 20th if it was even sent. Really bad customer service. I will never buy online from them again.

I've been calling customer service for 4 DAYS with wait times of more than and hour. I will NEVER order anything from Disney again. No replacement order, no refund, no communication no nothing! I bought a purse online from there stire and I wasent not even a month and a half old and it broke and they would not do a thing. It was not a cheap purse. I am very disappointed with there service and will not be shopping there again.
I placed an order for a stock item on December 12, well before their standard delivery for holidays cutoff of December 16, today I receive an e-mail that my order will now ship on December 27 3 via 3 day select. Clearly based on all the other bad reviews they do not know how to fulfill orders, and the company is apparently HQ in Japan, they should know better, sounds like this business may not be wholly owned by the Walt Disney Company.
After reading all of the other negative reviews on here I can only come to the conclusion that the Disney store is either horribly managed or in fact a scam. I had a similar horrible experience with them. They had a deal going on where you could buy one medium plush get one 50% off which seemed like a good deal to me. So I place order and get a shipping confirmation a day later. Then fast forward a week and a half I realize the products (2 stitch medium plush) haven't shipped, only a label was created. I email the stores guest services and they reply back saying so sorry we will place another order for you. Cool I get a confirmation email again and this time there is an actual package on its way (still have not received so not counting my chickens yet) but they are only sending one plush even though I originally ordered and paid for two. Emailed guest services again and am still awaiting a reply. This online store is almost criminally incompetent, I can't believe disney as a whole would allow such sub par service to continue.
Answer: Yes you should be, their normal processing time is 15-25 business day before they ship their products to you. The items may even come separately in later time.
Answer: My advice is to NOT do business with Disney.com. I tried to cancel my order after a few days and they refused to cancel. This order showed up FIVE WEEKS after I ordered it.
