I ordered gifts for my family on 29th November - with plenty of time to go before Xmas.
I received a confirmation of order on 29th Nov - with a delivery date stated as 9th December.
On 6th December - I received a notification email to advise delivery may be delayed due to the Black Friday sales. On 8th December, I received another email - advising that one of the items ordered was no longer available, but all remaining items would be delivered and a refund made on this one item.
I spoke to Disney Store today 14/11- Jack, Jade & Sami... which were less than helpful, very dismissive and also each individual gave different information. I was advised payment hadn't gone through on the 7th December, and then advised it had gone through on the 29th November (when i ordered) and then advised there was an accounting issue - and that the issue had been escalated with them.
At no point could I speak to a supervisor or manager. (they were all busy)
I have now received an email to advise that my full order has been cancelled due to a 'technical issue' and a full refund will be processed in a week but supposedly my payment was not authorized!
This is absolutely disgraceful - with Xmas just around the corner.
For such a massive international company i expect a lot more
I ordered Christmas presents for my 5 year old online from the Disney store, the website said guaranteed delivery before Christmas. I got 2 different tracking numbers since my items shipped out of different states. That would have been fine except neither package actually shipped for 2-3 days after I got the tracking info which lead to my items being delivered AFTER Christmas! I called customer service where I was told they would give me a $10 credit towards a future purchase. Apparently $10 off (which is basically their shipping charge) is equivalent to a 5 year old not having her Christmas presents under the tree on Christmas morning. I decided to email the corporate office about my experience, a week later they called me and basically told me the same thing, they would give me a credit for a future purchase... the craziest part of this, is that this also happened to me about 5 years ago from the Disney store and I didnt order from them again until this year where it happened AGAIN! I will NEVERRRR give them my business again and I hope everyone else has plentyyyy of time to wait for their overpriced items because shipping is definitely not their priority.
I placed an order in early dec. It took me an hour and a half to order on the phone. I had a redemptiom card with 450.00 dollars on it but they wanted a back up card in case the redemption cars had no money on it. I got they order fine but i noticed they charged my credit card for everything. Chase has verified the money on the card but i have made SIX PHONE CALLS AND I CANNOT GET THEM TO TAKE IT OFF THE CREDIT CARD ON TO MY REDEMPTION CARD. I am beyond frustrated and calling the bbb next. I have talked to chase 3 times who said it is an easy fix but the last person i talked to at disney store was very rude. Wouldnt call me back. And the sixth call i made said it would be 6 bus days. I am not very hopeful and it is coming due on my credit card so not only will i have to pay for the order i will have to pay interest! I realize a penny isn't much these days but when you order from an online company such as SHOPDISNEY you expect a certain level of something, right? Well, I placed an online order and was given a total due for the order, an email from them confirming that total and my credit card was charged that total. Then two days later an additional PENNY was charged to my credit card without any notification from SHOPDISNEY. I sent them an email and received a runaround answer. I sent another email telling them I would no longer be a customer and was sent a reply they would look into it. The original charge of $101.60 was removed from my credit card but the PENNY was left, then the $101.60 was returned to my card along with leaving the PENNY. No email as of yet as to why I have been charged the PENNY. I mean really, YOU (DISNEY) CONFIRMED THE ORIGINAL TOTAL via email to me. It's not like you even give me a bag to carry my purchases out of your stores anymore unless I buy one of your cheap made ones that the seams start coming out of before I even get it to the car and it's not like you are losing that PENNY with the admission prices to your parks. You lost that PENNY on any more of my thoughts coming your way. Is zero stars possible?
Let me start out by saying this review is not based on the product itself. My husband and I have been collecting the Disney figures for a few years now and this is definitely one of the coolest ones we own. This review is based on the actual shipping of this product.
I ordered it a week before my husbands birthday to arrive on time. When I received it, Jiminy was broken into pieces. I called back, explained that it was my husbands birthday gift (which was now 2 days away), and had to BEG them to send it 2 day so he could have it on time. After sitting on hold for 36 minutes and arguing with a supervisor, she finally agreed. The next day I get no e-mail about it being shipped, so I call back and they explained that they messed up and didn't put it in their system. Obviously even more upset, I ask them to please send it asap, which again, after arguing, it was done. Then I received statue #2 it was broken AGAIN. Fed up, I called back asking for a new replacement and to be given a gift card or something because 1) I had spent over $100 on this with taxes/shipping, 2) They did not pack it well, therefore I received TWO broken figures, 3) They admitted to me that it was their fault that the second figure was not shipped in time. Their response? "We will offer you 10% off to keep the statue, plus a $5.00 coupon for your hassle." WHAT. 1) 10% off of a statue that is BROKEN is not worth it. I paid for an item, I do not want a broken one. And 2)...$5 off. Really? After begging and crying because I was so fed up and aggravated at this point, they offered to send me a $20.00 coupon. While I do appreciate it greatly, it would have been nice if 1) They offered that upfront after seeing how much they messed up and 2) Had looked at my Disney account. We have annual passes. We have spent more then thousands of dollars between Disneyland and the Disneystore.com, which can clearly be seen by looking at my account history, although we may now not be ordering again after dealing with this headache.
If I could leave 5 negative stars, I would. My process started with trying to redeem a Disney Reward card, which was rejected at the Disney Store (Nov). I called Disney's reward number (Dec) and was told that another card would be sent to me. I never received the new card. I called Disney again (Jan) and was told that my redemption card is now reactivated and can be used. I used it right away and made an online purchase consisting of 4 items. I received an email saying that the item was shipped with a tracking number. Two weeks pass by and the tracker continues to say that the items are pending shipment. I called the shop Disney customer service line, they apologized and reshipped the items. The tracker for these items said that they were shipped right away. I get an email saying that my redemption card no longer works and they charged my back up credit card. I get 3 out of the 4 items, but was charged for all 4. The three items were all crushed on delivery and there is no way I can give them as gifts. I called shop Disney (Feb) to complain about the charges, the missing item and the state of the items on delivery. They said the charges were not their fault and I need to call my backup credit card! The best they could do for me is for me to return my 3 items back to them and they will refund my charge. They can not give me a new redemption card (I had already cut up the one used), so that money is now gone.
This process was a NIGHTMARE! I am so fed up that I will never shop at Disney again! I love the theme parks and Disney in general, but this redemption process and the whole shopping at Disney experience has left a blemish that can't be easily forgotten!
Will not order through them ever again. Rude somes it up of the agent i spoke too. Will not be buying or visiting disney ever again.
I ordered something a month ago and I still haven't received my item and it will not allow me to track it.
I ordered 2 costumes for Halloween, 11 days before Halloween. Never got a confirmation email, so I called and emailed to make sure they received my order and that it would be here in time for Halloween. On the phone she assured me they would be here on time, and the email I received (2 days after I sent mine) also assured me that they would make it in time. FIVE DAYS after I ordered, I got an email saying that they finally bothered to get ONE of my costumes in the mail, which should have still barely made it here in time. The next day (SIX days after I ordered), I got an email saying that THE SECOND COSTUME WAS OUT OF STOCK. SIX DAYS it took them to let me know this! So I had to scramble to re-order the second costume from Amazon, but was still hopeful that the first costume would arrive on time. Now I am tracking it via UPS, and guess what? It will not arrive until THE END OF THE DAY ON HALLOWEEN. ARRRRRRRGH. Honestly I cannot believe how horrible this experience has been in every way- this place is the worst and I will NEVER order from them again!
You are better off buying on amazon.com They know how to ship in a timely manner. I will not be shopping at the disney store online ever again.

I've only ever ordered from the USA twice before, both being Hot Topic ages ago, never a problem. First time ever ordering from USA Disney store this year, in April. I live in the UK and I really wanted a t-shirt I saw when my family and I were on holiday in Florida, but there was none in stock in any store out there. They don't sell it on the UK Disney Store website. I was worried to buy from the USA branch online, as I've heard so many bad things about their customer service representatives and also read a few reviews about cards being charged and then getting no goods and no refund. So my mum decided to brave it and pay the extra to buy it online for a late birthday gift for me, and have it sent to my family in Canada, (so she'd pay less custom fees), and they could send it to my brother via the army post to give to us. This was the first time my mum used HER credit card to buy from the USA. I've always used my debit card. So anyway, we ordered it in April on my mum's credit card, and she has not used her card since then for anything, she always uses her debit card or cash for her other purchases. So her credit card company called her this morning (30th MAY!) to tell her someone in CALIFORNIA, literally 10-15 minutes away from the Disney Store's headquarters, tried to use her card details to make a purchase. They tried to spend £79 worth at Target! I'm so glad her card company contacted her first so she could choose to decline payment! God knows what else they would have tried to buy! We've now blocked her card. There's no Target in the UK, and it's fishy how the first time she uses it online at Disney Store, her card details are re-used in the EXACT same state, EXACT same area, pretty much around the corner from the headquarters! We will NEVER buy from the Disneystore.com ever ever again, this is disgraceful. Clearly someone working there has some kind of access to customer's card numbers, so! BEWARE! It could happen again to anyone using a credit card to purchase!
Tried to oder stuff for christmas for my son online at the disney.com. And had nothing but bullcrap
I ordered 5 items online, total order after taxes and $9.95 just for shipping came to $68.76. I had a $75 Disney rewards card I used. They also needed a credit card Just in Case total was over card amount! I received an E-mail several days later stating order was going to be delivered a week late due to snow in Minnesota, Fine! So yes, my order was received on the date stated, also received and E-mail stating it was delivered. Items received, But when I looked at my bank statement my card was charged $33.87, WHAT? I tried to contact them via Their E-mail, not able to, then called, called, called! Forever on hold! I go to bank, he calls and finally gets a Customer Service Rep, what a joke. I was told it'd take 2 business days to fix, I ask for her name and rep# but she would Only give her First name and Nothing else, said she's sending me an E-mail regarding this issue. Never received an E-mai, Return phone call, OR CREDIT BACK TO MY ACCT! So After my bank rep looked online at Disney Store Reviews he said None were good, Oh My! I wish I would have checked reviews prior to ordering! But this Is Disney, right? Suppose to be Happy Everything? NO, Nothing happy about FRAUD! I have to Cancel my card just in case they try to charge it again, like several other people stated happened to them in their reviews and since it is Christmas shopping season this is More than an Inconvenience! I Will Be Persuing this issue until the Fraudulent amount I was charged is Returned to my acct, Not a credit at their store, not a gift card, the Money they took out of my acct Returned! I Highly Recommend NOT ORDERING THROUGH DISNEY'S ONLINE STORE! You Will be sorry if you do.

Answer: Yes you should be, their normal processing time is 15-25 business day before they ship their products to you. The items may even come separately in later time.
Answer: My advice is to NOT do business with Disney.com. I tried to cancel my order after a few days and they refused to cancel. This order showed up FIVE WEEKS after I ordered it.
