“Really amazing”

This was my first trip to disneyland and it was a blast. Even though it was the long weekend the lines weren't super long. We brought my 2 year old and she was able to get on to 11 rides. For the price (you can always find a coupon) I thought I was very well worth it. I appreciate that the parking is free and I think it's great that it is student run. All the staff were really friendly and had safety as a priority!

I planned a trip to Disney for October of 2022. I purchased the tickets on their own website at the beginning of 2022 and they offered cancelation insurance, which you had to pay for. The day before my reservation, I needed to cancel. I work as a caregiver for my disabled mother and she went into a respite facility. While there, she was being neglected and was in an unsafe situation. I was forced to turn around (I was driving to Florida) and cancel my entire trip. I called Disney to cancel and told them I purchased the cancelation insurance. They gave me the information for AON and I should get my money back no problem. Except it was. They denied my claim twice stating it wasn't an emergency to them. So, because Disney uses this trash insurance company, I am out $3000 of my hard earned money. This was supposed to be my first time off in 12 years. Not a vacation, TIME OFF. It took me so long to save up the money to go with my daughter and I have NOTHING to show for it. So, if you're planning on going, make sure you either don't buy the insurance cause if you have to cancel you'll be out of the money either way or go to Universal Studios, who refunded me with zero problems.

I don't know if it was the timing but it was definitely money not well spent.
It saddens me to say but not really... I will NEVER EVER EVER go back to #DisneyWorld again!
My family and I decided to get away for Christmas since we had been through so much loss earlier in the year. I have been to Disney before and had a great time so I knew what to expect. If you have never been let me give you some needed information. You park your vehicle, stand in line for about an 1 1/2 hours give or take a few minutes just for admission and/or check in. After that process you take a ferry or train (your choice) where it takes you to the park itself. Once you get to the park you have to go through a security and ticket check in. Ohhhh bring a snack because that's gonna be another 1 hour+. Already walking bumper, to stroller, to shoulder, to knee trying to walk in the park you would think you would feel a sense of relief once you get in. NO SIR! There are so many people you really can't move just to get across the walkway. By this time it is 3 hours later so we try and find the closet place to eat. Finally make in there after fighting through the crowds of people and the employees telling you which way you can walk. There is a line that is so long you could just cry. Needless to say we stood in line for 1 hour, 48 mins and 53 secs (YES I TIMED IT). Did I forget to mention this was just to order the food? By then I'm so frustrated I ended up "expressing" myself in line because this lady could not make up her mind on what she wanted for her son (a whole another discussion for a different day) with this complicated menu you couldn't help but notice while you wait. Choices: Chicken fingers, Fries, Burgers, a drink. We then had to stand in line for about 48 mins just to pick up your food and when I say I am just standing there waiting for nothing that is what I mean. Its like the minute its my turn they all of a sudden don't remember who was running food on my side. Everyone around me is getting theirs, they checking tickets, and passing out drinks and what am I doing. Just STANDING THERE! I finally say something and after much facial confusion on their faces and 10 more mins I finally get my food. But next question where are we gonna sit? After just eating and all of that my children were ready to go. We tried to stay as long as we could so they could at least see the parades and maybe they will change their mind. But the employees was oh so "nice" about where you could and couldn't stand my children couldn't see beyond all the other adults that had front row seats to every parade and show. We said forget it and decided to leave. We didn't get to ride any rides that day. Because the lines were so long there was no point. They gave everyone fast passes so all of the rides weren't available until about 8 hours+ later. It was just a horrible experience and I felt so bad because with all my kids have been through they deserved to have the best Christmas ever. We didn't get to see a Mickey, nor Mouse, a beauty nor a beast! NOT A ELSA or a ANA not nothing! I will definitely have to make this up to my children. It is just a bummer for me because with me being a single parent I had to save to make this trip possible for us to go it was all #MoneyWasted. Disney promotes the #TheDisneyExperience and if that was it then they can keep it and we can stay home. They were definitely over capacity and need to set a maximum for that day specifically in order to function more smoothly. Well at least my kids got to get out of the state for a few days and the weather was beautiful. Better luck next state. #Disney I am telling my mom and #Ellen on you and she will not be pleased with this!

I also had an absolutely awful experience with Disney, and it was supposed to be my son's birthday present! I would never go there, or use any of their shuttle services, nor would I suggest anyone else do the same.

I booked a vacation via SouthWest. I got an email that told me to check in to their resort hotel and sign up for Disney's Shuttle Express service. I don't know who designed and/or programmed the website but it is the most incompetent, flawed and poorly streamlined site. It's only a smidge above those news sites that play advertisements for 15 seconds before you can click an X and/or has some video ads in the background. Everything is laggy and takes seconds to process. I know it's to entice the Disney goers but when I book vacations I expect things to be efficient, not slow as hell.

First, the Disney Shuttle Express pages are BUGGED. I could not enter in a flight number. The calendar for arrival and depart dates were messed up on all computers I tried. My macbook pro's three browsers: Safari, Chrome and Firefox had the same issue. I tried on a pc with IE and Firefox and the same issue was there. It could very well be that all of my computers and browsers were having simultaneous issues but I think their website is programmed poorly, very poorly. I mean, do they outsource their programming to overseas for a salary for $2/hour? Is that why it's so buggy?

I try to check in with their resort online, two rooms were booked. They were unable to check in the other guests in the other room because of their website limitations. As much as they like to promote a stress free experience, I've never had as many issues with Disney as with any other website in my life. Even Gmarket and the Korean language were better experiences. For the two things I attempted to complete, I give 0/2. I ended up spending almost an hour with Southwest Airlines who ALSO ON MY BEHALF attempted to complete the booking but THEIR browsers were also having issues. They ended up calling Disney to do it for me. So that confirms it wasn't just my computers or browsers. For a company that has so much revenue, there's no excuse to scrounge on a better web experience. Sure it might save them a few $$$, but it wastes my time and my time is money also. It's disappointing that it's so glaringly obvious they value their own profits a lot more than their customers.

Great place for the summer to hangout with friends and family and go on rides. Get there early in the morning to have a chance to ride all big roller coasters! Also get the refillable soft drinks bottle to stay hydrated during the day when it gets hot, it's worth it

I don't remember Disney being so profit driven? Everything is marked up from 300 to 600% from normal! I felt I was being scammed everywhere. You can't make a budget because they nickel and dime you to death! And 7 out of 10 buildings in disney area is a store trying to push their product "junk" on you, at crazy prices. Most of the shows are very good but there are more stores than shows! Profit! Profit! Profit! That is the feeling I got at Disney. Dought I will ever be back. Sad

The products disney produces are of great quality and they last long. The materials used are not harmful and the toys can be given to kids

Haunted mansion! So dark inside the ride you can bearly see the creatures in each scene. Can't even hardly see the candelobra down the hallway. Never used to be dark like that. So sad. Boat rides in It's a small world and Pirates now bump into each other, never used to do that. The Stitch escape adventure is totally too scary for children under 12. Many if us asked to be let out due to our young children being terrified, crying and screening and not in a good way. My granddaughter said Stich the movie was a sweet loving character. This was so mind blowing for a little girl Disney should gave a warning for patents what this all about. Also, it would be really nice if Disney would allow fast pass to do 3 at a time all the time, instead of 3 then 1 at a time. Get with it Disney. We pay a lot to go to you parks, the least you can do us make us happy at the Happiest Place on earth!

I visited this site today to bring back memories of the trip I won back in 2005 from where I worked. My boss had a contest to win a trip to Disney world. Since I have always wanted to go there as a child. My mother raised my brother and I, so we where kind of poor. She was never able to take us there herself. When I won this trip I was jumping up and down all through our office. It was like a dream come true. With the kind of luck I have I never win anything. So I am sure you all can imagine how excited I was when I won a 5 day, 6 night all expense paid trip to Disney world grand resorts. My hotel was right inside Disney world. I Stayed on the top level of the Grand Floridain Hotel. It was the most beautiful place I have ever stayed in my entire life. You could see Magic Kingdom right out my suites window. It had bed the size of two King size beds. It had a safe, a living room, computer, sunlamp and a jacuzzi bathtub. It was like being in heaven. There was a lagoon and 2 olympic size swimming pools. It also had a grand piano on the lower floor and another piano on the second floor. Every night they would have someone plying classic music on the piano to relax the quests. They had everything you could imagine to eat or drink including an open bar right outside my suite door. But the neatest thing was that you didn't even have to leave the hotel to get to the theme parks. All you had to do was walk about 15 feet out onto a bay and catch a monorail that took you anywhere inside Disney world. I know this is a very expensive place to stay but it is a once in a lifetime chance to be so spoiled. So if you ever plan to visit Disney world save your money so you can experience the luxury of the Grand Floridain Hotel. I hope this site helps those who have a taste for the good life. www.disneyworld.disney.go.com Sincerely, Lorraine W.
