Absolutely terrible.

Would not recommend them to literally anyone. Needed my shipment today, paid for express shipping, said it wasn't gonna be here for 7 DAYS. Also said that I didn't need to be here for the delievery. So I wasn't, then they wouldn't leave it at my door since I wasn't home. I then try to contact them to see if I can pick it up or have the delivery driving stop back by since it was literally less than 10 minutes after the fact, and they tell me no. The earliest I can get it is the next day. Beyond pissed off, will be asking for a refund on my express shipping. DO NOT use them.

A LIVERPOOL TRADESMAN

I came to the DHL branch in South Liverpool at 11.35am 2nd November 2022 and was met by a lady with a name tag on known as Karen, what rude, abrupt, arrogant, and Impolite staff member she was, appalling in her mannerism and customer service approach. I am dumbfounded and would not of believed that such a reputable company as DHL would employ such a person to work on the front desk in the customer service department. I felt the whole experience offputting. I fully understand that sending goods abroad has to be checked individually and personal items must be looked at and inspected for security measures and procedures must be followed. I fully understand this and have no issues with this procedure, however the staff member doing this job is absolutely dreadful. Being in business myself I am of the firm belief that providing good customer service/satisfaction is imperative and of paramount importance along with politeness and courtesy is all part of a procedure in dealing with the clients.

CAN NOT, WOULD NOT, WILL NOT, AND SHOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS SERVICE TO ANYONE.

Horrible

The only good thing about DHL is fast shipping. I always hate ordering from the JP Amazon store because they only offer DHL shipping to the US. Everytime I have ordered, my experience has not been great. Below are my issues.

1. It says it's out for delivery in Arizona every time, which gave me a mini panic attack the first time I got a package from them because I don't live in Arizona.
2. The last few times, the day it's supposed to arrive, I got a notice saying, "May arrive late. Package arrived at wrong facility. Redirected to correct facility." This happened MULTIPLE times! Why can't they just bring it to the correct facility?
3. They put the package "on hold" for the smallest reasons. When you see a package is on hold, you think there's a problem. But apparently it could be on hold for a million reasons. Usually just because there's no delivery vehicle, and it continues to destination shortly after. Why put it on hold for that?
4. I ordered something a while ago, and they put it on hold for a week before sending it back to the sender. Didn't even explain why. I ordered the exact same thing from a different site who shipped through USPS and it arrived.
5. Customer service is horrible. Tried contacting them about my package on hold, but all they said was, "package is in___, it'll arrive by [Expected delivery date]." It was later sent back to sender.
6. Tracking is awful. Updates are slow. And I often get text about the same update. "Package on hold". Yeah, I know, I already got this text 3 times. Why is it on hold?

F DHL! I'll never use it for shipping my products again. I used the quote calculator and it came up as $100. Then, when I filled out the form to create a shipment it went to $127. The tiny package was 452 grams, just shy of 1 pound. It changed the shipped weight based on the volume of the package to 2 pounds. Then, added fees (which I have no idea what they were) the final price was $152. F DHL. That's all you need to know. F DHL

Very unprofessional

My package was delivered to the wrong address on a different street. I have called DHL and emailed them over 2 weeks still no response or attempt at a resolution. I will NEVER use DHL or buy from anyone who ships through DHL. Such a horrible company

Sent a parcel from Germany to Malta and it got lost/ stolen, useless customer service just saying that legally they are not responsible... amazing... no effort at all to open an internal investigation on where my parcel is... they dont give a f*** that DHL lost my over 300eur worth of parcel + sentimental value. Had been using DHL for many years, and unless someone decides to show some responsibility, I wont use DHL again.

Worst postal system

Lazy drivers, lie that no one is home, simply skip the delivery! Another one could not find the address when everyone else including usps, ups easily find it. Lazy. Bad. Irresponsible. -5 stars. Worst.

Nou nooit meer wat een bedrijf joh. Zeggen 7 werk dagen werden er 14 10 dozen echt met bublplatich kleding er tussen met daar de breekbare spullen er tussen als je er normaal mee om zou gaan dan kont het gewoon niet kapot. Nou bij DHL Parcel DHL dus wel gewoon vouw pakketten geworden. Een schande en denk je wat #dhlparcel zegt ja dat kan ook wel eens gebeuren. Daar kun ke het dan mee doen. NOOIT GEEN DHL MEER.

Horrible Service

I had a horrible experience with DHL. I decided to use DHL to send package to UK from California for a time sensitive real estate deal. My package (1-942-577-582) was on hold for last one week. DHL didn't contact me for three days and fourth day I called to know the reason of hold. I provided required document within an hour. DHL didn't update their systems for next two days. Every time I called same documents asked from me. Still after one week, my package is on hold, and I am late on real estate deal and have to pay penalty now. I have really bad experience with DHL and decided never to user their service again.

This company is a waste of everyone's time. Not only do they not deliver on time... not even the same day as one is told they will, but they often deliver to the wrong address. The last delivery we had from this $#*!e company was left on a dustbin on our bin day and not even brought to the house, where we have a front porch and CCTV. Fortunately, it was found in time
I rang the contact centre yesterday as the tracking had stopped at approx. 4.45pm. I was told by your automated service that deliveries are made up to 8pm. There was still no further movement on your tracking bar from 4.45pm for the rest of the day. DUH! Obviously, a blatant lie.
Just get rid of DHL... PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE. If it were possible to give zero stars, believe me, I would.

Worst delivery company I've ever seen. Even though I was at home, the driver left without delivering my parcel. He rang my bell and I asked for the name on the parcel. After saying my name, I opened the door and realized that he had left without delivering my parcel. A few minute later I have received a message from DHL that you are not at home, we could not delivered. For this reason, I connected to the customer service chat twice. Alex, one of the customer service agent, although it was their fault, Alex said that he could not reach the driver's phone that he cant not deliver my parcel today. I don't understand how they can't reach a driver working in their own company during working hours. After that, I connected to the chat again. One of the customer service agent his name is Chris. He asked my tracing details and I sent him my waybill number which he can see tracking details easly with this number. He just turn off the chat to my face and left the conversation.

Incompetent Service

Send legal documents from Sydney to Frankfurt. It has taken 6 weeks. The person delivering my parcel to the law office could not find the building or the sign of the legal team. On large building with 6 names of the front door could not identified by the person delivering the documents. Parcel was returned to Sydney within 4 weeks.
Documents had to be resigned by the authorities at a cost of approximately $ 400,00. Sydney to Canberra 3 times and additional fees of $300 to the German Authorities. Just because the person delivering it could not see a 5 story building in a well known street. He even did not use the phone number written on the documents but left it with the Post Office without contacting the law Firm. I will not attache photos or documents as this would be to embarrassing for the people named on the documents.
And I have all documents available if so required...

DHL has the worst shipping service, if I see that my package is shipping with DHL at that moment I know I won't get it anyways no matter how often I call them or whatever I'm trying to do it always undeliverable! I don't even see how the are a shipping company if you never receive your order. If I could give them zero stars if definitely would!

Am suppose to receive my package from last week Friday 10/7 that I payed for express on Amazon today is 10/12 still not received my package, it was so supposed to deliver Monday 10/10 there excuse is it could not be delivered due to traffic, that's from Monday today is Wednesday so I guess they are still in traffic for the reason why I still haven't received my package today Wednesday smh. Do not waste your money with these people if you want your package on time trust me am saving you the trouble with these people, am suppose to leave town from Monday and they got me stuck here still waiting on this damn package.

Terrible

Never heard of DHL until I ordered a package off of Amazon that the provider used DHL to ship with. Claimed to have been "delivered" on time but when I checked nothing! I had asked my family members if they had brought it in and checked around the neighborhood just in case but still nothing. When bringing the problem up with Amazon they contacted DHL for "picture proof" and they had sent me back a picture of a porch that looked nothing like mine, ridiculous service. Since I had ordered it through Amazon I had gotten a refund but from what I've heard people ordering straight from company aren't so lucky, do not waste your time/money on these clowns.

My shipment left Belgium 36 days ago and it still did not arrive to another country in Western Europe. Why can't DHL deliver for such a long time and this is only within the Europe? It's such a shame!

Do not trust them

Absolutely ridiculous they have my package for two weeks now and won't send off to me. They have not even attended to contact tack me to let me no why they still have it. I have tried countless times to find out what is going on and all I get is a runaround

DHL is a nightmare. Sent 2 packages from Berlin to Amsterdam end of August they never delivered them and they sent them back to Berlin without knowing what was the problem. Paid again to send them to Amsterdam and again the same hapennt. They are sending them back to Berlin without knowing the reason saying that will start an investigation to know why. When I call them the only thing they say it's we don't know why we will start an investigation. They cannot contact the DHL department of the other country they ask me to do it. It's one company I paid to deliver me a box figure it out together. I will fill out a form for a refund, doubting that they will accept it and of course, I will send my packages with another service. It's more than one month without my personal stuff and clothes in a new city. I cannot believe there are services like this one!
