UPS

10/28/23

Yesterday I went online on UPS.com to schedule a shipment internationally. Should be a simple task as I've done it a lot of times with FedEx and even UPS (once) before. Filled out all the forms online, it gave me an option to pay. First I selected pay with my account, but it won't allow me as it says VAT format incorrect. Of course I am not signed up for VAT as it's a just a gift of no commercial value and I am a private person. Then it says I must add my UPS account to it. I did. But then it says account has already been added. OK, but when it is time to pay it says I must add a new or existing account. Does not make any sense. Then I selected to pay with Paypal and it asked for VAT again. Then it said my pick up location invalid (b/s), finally I was able to get rid of that error somehow (magically) and went on to pay with Paypal, was transferred to my Paypal account and paid for UPS shipping and then it supposed to return me to a UPS website, but instead it just opened a blank page and after waiting, nothing! So I returned to the UPS website to print the shipping label but my shipping history has NOTHING listed there! How could UPS erase everything but charge my Paypal for shipping!?

UPDATE: I keep on struggling with UPS.com website and find new and new, more and more ridiculous errors like this one, after I tried to update my account and add a credit card payment to it:

"We use invoice data to authenticate account ownership and protect your information. Unfortunately, since your account has no associated charges, we are unable to let you edit this information at this time."

More nonsense continues. I went and opened a different browser and typed www.ups.com and it opened a UPS website all in Arabic... And I thought FedEx was rubbish (I stopped using FedEx a while ago).

More nonsense: Now I tried to edit my phone number and email address and no, IT'S NOT possible either:

"We're sorry, but we're experiencing technical issues. Please refresh your screen or try again later."

Now I am trying to look up my shipping history and I know I had a recent shipment about a month ago, so I looked up everything for the past 3 months, but UPS can't do that either:

No activity found for this date range.
We can't see any shipments in the time period selected. Try searching a different date range. You can also find a shipment by tracking number or other reference if available, or go to your UPS My Choice Delivery Planner to find a parcel sent to you."

And then trying to order a shipment pick up and to print the label UPS keep on quoting fantastic amounts, all different such as $56 then $65 then $130 then $225 then $330 and then $340... and when I keep on closing and login again finally after hours of struggling it gave me a $56 quote again. Does it have to be that way?

MASSIVE REGISTERED MAIL THEFT!

BEWARE! Registered mail shipments from Lithuania disappear on a frequent basis without a trace, as they are allegedly stolen by 'Lietuvos paštas' (Lithuanian Postal Service) themselves by marking shipments as "INTERNATIONAL DISPATCH" and then the shipment's tracking ends and the shipment disappears without a trace! Avoid any mail orders from Lithuania until they improve the situation with Registered Mail theft and the alleged corruption of the postal mailing system.

Irresponsive "support", low quality website = recipe for self destruction. Carousell is not responding to support messages. They don't seem to care whether they go bust. Is this perhaps an Asian business attitude that I wasn't aware of?

The knowledgeable staff has already left LiquidWeb

PROS: Friendly support (mostly). Uptime is very good, close to 100% or should I say almost 100% most of the time. There used to be some guys that are very knowledgeable and were willing to make the extra step to help you out on tricky issues, although the knowledgeable guys seem to no longer work there.

CONS: The billing charges one's card without notifying in advance on what exactly the amount will be charged, thus price increases can surprise you. And tricky extra charges are also a shocker.

Very expensive.

LiquidWeb automatically enrolls you in auto-pay via credit card or your bank account (direct debit) via Paypal, so they can charge your card or withdraw any amount directly from your Paypal account and if your Paypal acc. Has zero balance then from your bank account! And you are unable to remove your bank account number from their records! They won't accept bank wire or manual Paypal balance payments, so you're stuck providing LW either your credit card or Paypal/bank account for them to help themselves in your account for any amount.

Made a 2 year deal with a fixed amount paid to LW but a year after I paid for 2 years LW is already charging me extra money on the balance despite the agreement and prepaid hosting for 2 years. One year after the deal they stopped sending me zero invoices via email, but started sneaking in extra sneaky charges of unknown unidentified origin. When asked what those charges are the billing department gives some smoke and mirrors answer.

The live chat constantly closes from lost connection. Can't even save the chat transcript. Or the chat will get stuck for hours in waiting being never attended.

There's a lack of knowledgeable staff since most of their best staff has already left the company and you can read about that on the internet forums. The support will for days conveniently ignore more complex issues they were able to fix in the past and only address issues that are simplest in nature, but usually reply is written that there's nothing they can do about it, leaving customer stranded looking for help elsewhere or moving to another, more modern, knowledgeable and more flexible host.

Simple questions they were easily able to answer and address now are repeatedly ignored, even if asked twice, just to confirm things.

The best days of LiquidWeb heroic support and fair billing are clearly over. I am looking to move elsewhere.

Absolute disaster! They marked it as "DELIVERED" just 3 days after they picked it up from a sender in Denmark and guess to where they "DELIVERED" the shipment to? They "delivered" it back to the sender just 3 days later trying to claim "FAST DELIVERY" laurels! Stay away from this disservice that has a very funny domain name: BRING.NO

  • Catawiki

5/12/23

Catawiki manipulates seller's price to make it as LOW as possible. They will NOT allow a seller to sell their item(s) for a reasonable price, but only for a LOW price, to guarantee a sale and a profit for Catawiki. And they take many weeks to approve an item or a lot submitted for auction by their so-called "experts" who quite often allow ridiculous listings with misspelled and wrong descriptions and items shown hiding behind other items etc. Then there are all the bugs, shortcomings and errors of their website as well as all kinds of tricks their sellers do such as early delivery marking as "Delivered" early in the shipping process so they can get their money quickly and then others ship an empty box, a "robbed" package or only part items enclosed, while others ship it to themselves and call it a day!

And a final nail in the coffin is the fact that Catawiki marks some orders as "DELIVERED" very early in the shipping process while they are far from being delivered. As we all know marking a shipment as DELIVERED while it has not been even delivered to the country of the recipient constitutes FRAUD.

Khuamung, Saraphi, Chiang Mai ******* Thailand, who operates in both Thailand and United States, is an English and French speaker, and is an extremely rude, aggressive and unreasonable individual. E HARM money... those were my "matches" sent to me by e-HARM constantly after I paid them $250 for a 6 month subscription. I was a single straight male indeed:

https://postimg.cc/Z91S3hsv
https://postimg.cc/4mPRP0xy
https://postimg.cc/1VP5nNJj
https://postimg.cc/hf4gxn1h - a pedophile!
https://postimg.cc/4YC5qf2x - another pedophile that admits his crimes!
https://postimg.cc/jCmC4LCC - as you can see eHARM insulted muslims too
https://postimg.cc/VJDJM4tP - search result as a proof of working with Google promoting all the nasty fake profiles!
https://postimg.cc/23Gyg2Hb - Google and eHARM allowed pedophiles to promote

E HARM money did not allow their paid or free customers to create such fake profiles, it was impossible to do that! There was NO way to create such a fraudulent fake account even for a paid customer! You had to pay $250 for 6 months single profile (not two or more profiles!) and you could not create more than one profile and those profiles were quality monitored and moderated.

The on the other side of the spectrum someone at eHARMony was creating all those nasty fake profile teasing and shocking their paid customers to death.

It was allegedly done by eHARM themselves or their employees! Imagine paying $250 and getting a match like this! You immediately ask for a refund. E HARM money refused to refund my money! E HARM owes me $250 plus interest! I have got many screenshots of incriminating info on e-HARM-money! And I will keep on posting these until e HARM money pays me $500 which is $250 back in 2008 plus interest for 15 years! Pay up $500.

Tip for consumers:

Catawiki is no longer addressing customer issues including urgent ones. Beware!

Weeks and weeks after sending an email to Catawiki support - no reply, nothing. Only an automated message received on the same day about Catawiki's promise to reply within 2 business days.

Tip for consumers:
Do not pay the seller with cash or bank wire transfer! Always use credit or debit card in order to protect your purchase! These days mail takes months to be delivered and Catawiki only supports the buyer for the 25 days after the dispatch of their purchase, and after 25 days Catawiki automatically pays the seller even if the goods are not delivered yet to the buyer! Beware of this and many other issues such as missing pages and dysfunctional links at Catawiki that never get repaired.

  • RipoffReport

1/22/22

RipOffReport (and the owner alleged con artist ED MAGEDSON) are an alleged fraud and an online extortion operation seemingly backed by some weird US laws that need to be urgently changed. The RIPOFFREPORT allows completely fake, false and anonymous "authors" post absolute lies, defamation and libel against individuals and companies who did not let themselves to be scammed and abused by those fake, anonymous posters, called "authors". ROR now has a new feature (in green font) called: Author Confirmed, where they state the author is real and confirmed, while in all cases known to me those authors are completely fake (fantasy names used) and anonymous spreaders of lies in order to hurt the individual or company and then for ROR to extort thousands of dollars from them. Ripoffreport and its infamous owner and an alleged con artist ED MAGEDSON allow and accept absolutely fake and anonymous unverified posts and now they will upgrade the filthy posts with "Author Confirmed" after you don't pay them the $2000 that they ask by emailing you in multiple messages that they ask in order to push the listing down, so it can not be found. Once the ROR realises they won't be paid by you the victim, and the victim of ROR can not be fooled, they resort to marking their fake post as "Author Confirmed". That is an alleged criminal behavior and the country supporting it through its laws is criminal den as well. Interestingly enough the victims of this fake "review" extortion business that ROR is do not have complaints posted on any other internet complaint websites, only on the ROR. That says something! Don't take ROR seriously and they should be shut down and the owner should face international court of law by a massive class action.

Tip for consumers:
Do not ever post anything on RipoffReport (owner: Ed Maggotson) and ignore all their contents same as you ignore and boycott any other allegedly criminal enterprise.

  • TNT Express

I ship via FedEx from Lisbon, Portugal and TNT currently runs FedEx Portugal service. I always prepay with cash to the driver and collect a cash receipt and a FedEx Waybill from the driver. Recently in the late 2021 TNT (not in the name of FedEx, but TNT!) started sending me paybill invoices for services rendered via FedEx which were already prepaid by me in full. Every time I would need to schedule a FedEx pick up I would call FedEx Portugal phone number and get a quote and schedule a pick up. I always prepay with cash and in full. Now they started trying to extract more money from me. Avoid like plaque.

They delete genuine reviews, even those that have support tickets documented, while allegedly leaving all the paid troll and even duplicate reviews on there, thus skewing the real picture on each company. I highly suspect now after they deleted my review (leaving my other reviews intact) on a specific company, that the company is allegedly paying TrustPilot to remove honest reviews on request. I wrote a genuine review of that company and provided my real name and a support ticket number and the company has identified me and wrote back to me, but TrustPilot keeps on deleting my honest and genuine review of that company no matter how perfect my review is. Don't waste your time leaving your reviews on that danish site called TrustPilot. It's not worth your time.

Multiple orders with them went smoothly, never a problem, except once, when the registered mail was lost (apparently lost at the USPS), they advised to use FEDEX and so my order was reshipped and arrived just fine with all the material in excellent shape.

I ordered glasses from CHARLES OPTICAL STORE at ALIEXPRESS.COM

The shipping, tracking, delivery and packing are ok, but the glasses can't be used because they "float" in my eyes and despite the support advising the need to get used to them (like all the normal glasses do), I can't get used to them, so I end up storing them and not using them. I tried to get used to the glasses over the days, but I can't.

Ordered multiple garden machinery equipment from them. I guess my order was not 100 units so they did not bother to sell to me even that they said even 2 units is a good order. None of their "merchants" bothered to sell to me.

So unlike Bing.com, Twitter.com, Amazon.co.uk, Banknotes.com, Ebay.com, Instagram.com etc. etc. That have great service, Indiamart.com is not. Don't bother with this website. This is the people who have no respect for anyone including their own selves.
