This is one of the worst shipping companies, don't rely on them. I changed my delivery address through their unfriendly automated system then through their on line chat and finally thru a live person who guaranteed I would have my package today before the weekend and it's still not here. They had the wrong address each time in their system even though I corrected it with them. Now they close at 5:00 pm Arizona time and I have no way to contact them and find out what happened to my package! Beyond frustrating!

I spared no expense in attempt to ship my package to Romania I provided $2000 worth of insurance and paid for the most effective shipping possible, over $360. To my surprise the package was on my doorstep proximately 10 days later. DHL said that they attempted to contact the receiver with no response so they sent it back. DHL did not attempt to contact the shipper or sender prior to this return?
Mistake number two,
I am immediately provided four more phone numbers and shipped with the same shipping company DHL. The package was held up for almost one month with DHL claimed "address was incorrect." Address is formatted the same way I've been sending packages to my father for over 10 years. DHL stated "we don't do it the same way the post office does it." Package finally arrived over three weeks later and several phone calls and messages to and from DHL Romania,Bucharest, family and shipper.
Attempted to file a complaint and still they stood by their "receiver did not answer after attempted contact." I spent almost $800 to ship this package. In this particular Financial climate I believe this to be a personal slight to me on DHL's part. Rest assured, I will speak to anyone from here moving forward against this company's practices and competency.
I have bought an expensive item from France. I am located in Greece. The supplier has instructed DHL me to sign the acceptance of the delivery. However, the DHL employee was too bored to get the elevator and reach our floor. He has just thrown the parcel in the elevator which is used by many people and left. When he was on the road he has called me to say that the parcel is in the elevator! When I asked DHL to send me the paper that I was supposed to sign, in the part of the signature was the word Elevator in printed letters. In other words, the elevator has signed for me! In other words, buying expensive items and having DHL as a parcel travel is a risky choice for the customer.
I sent my US official ballot ON TIME from Europe where I live to the US. I paid €45.00 it was supposed to be in the US within three days but after OVER a week it is still kept on hold in the annex for no reason whatsoever. I missed the voting deadline because of these people I wonder if they do it on porpuse to stop people from voting. This is serious matter and I will look into sueing them they stole my right to vote.

I paid a huge amount of money to have my parcel sent from Korea to Canada in Express, the parcel left on Nov 6th 2022, on the tracking it says that is cleared in Vancouver BC but not expectation date of delivery, no info on their website... 10 days now and they call it "Express"... i received a sms or scam telling me i own them more than 200$ in taxes while i paid them when i paid the shipping and shouldn't have anything to pay to "them"...
I had 2 identical parcels sent with UPS door to door and everything was so smooth and easy...
DHL Express (or not) is a piece of sh**! They cost a lot of money and don't care about their clients!

How can I give zero star. I sent a gift to my brother but to deal with this company is like going through hell. Customer service is THE WORST. Nobody gave me the right directions, totally unclear about their policies. They are fraud and just want to keep the package to themselves. I also wanna mention that I have never faced this problem in DHL in USA, its just in India. NEVER EVER SEND ANY ITEM TO INDIA THROUGH DHL. THEY ARE FRAUD.
I would like to share my experience with DHL. I have recently started a business and wanted to see who is the most reliable international carrier. On the same day, I purchased samples from China. One sample was sent through DHL, one through Fed Ex, and the third through UPS.
Within day 1, I got the customs documents for clearance which I settle, on the third day my sample arrived. Absolutely no problems and in excellent condition.
As for FedEx I got that within the week, apparently, the package was misplaced
And UPS I got after about 2 weeks ( I did not follow up with the exact day)

Using them was a nightmare. I had to stay home for 4 days straight waiting for my package. They kept telling me every day that it would come that day by 9pm and never did. I kept having to call cause app didn't have proper updates. I ended up having to pick up my package at their pick up station

What complete morons! And I am being polite... I have been waiting 10 days for a simple letter to be delivered. I have requested redelivery umpteen times and for the letter to be folded through the letterbox. Nope, can't do it! I've taken an unpaid day off work today-wasted holiday, in response to a phone message from Rakesh at HR/ Complaints stating that it would be delivered today-it's not even out for delivery! I can't reschedule it because DHL have tried redelivering it so many times on days that I didn't request, that I have no other options to redeliver. So instead I just wasted over 1/2 hour on the live chat to be told it's not going to be redelivered today! A whole day of my holiday time stuck inside because DHL told me to because they can't follow a simple instruction to fold a letter. It's a delivery company-how hard is it to deliver?! When I asked to complain, Louise told me my complaint was being dealt with by Rakesh-clearly not, because he gave me the wrong information and I still don't have the letter! I will be seeking compensation DHL you useless 'delivery' company.
I purchased a stove and DHL was used to deliver it to my house.
DHL never delivers the stove to me and lied about it being singed for it by me. They totally went to another address. They never came to my house. I was home all day.
DHL will not take responsibility for delivering it to the wrong address and will do nothing to correct their mistake. They are horrible and the world's wurst delivery company on earth. Stay far away from them.
Tracking information never correct, driver says he attempted to deliver twice. I live on the 2nd floor takes me a minute or less to get to the front door and he was already gone. No contact information was left as do Fed Ex and UPS. Horrible experience.
This is the third time I have found myself having to tolerate DHL and the third time DHL has messed up delivery. The first time was when I was working overseas and wanted to send some items home. I thought I would give DHL a try and they messed up the delivery. About a year and a half ago I ordered a gift for a family member from outside the country. Unfortunately, the supplier used DHL. I was home waiting for the delivery when I received a notice from DHL that their driver attempted delivery but no one was home. It took me another three days to find out where the item was and finally have it delivered. I now find myself in the exact same position. I ordered a gift from out of the country. The manufacturer and supplier use DHL. I was home waiting for the delivery when I received a notice from DHL that their driver attempted delivery but no one was home. I was 20 feet from my front door the entire time. We have a doorbell camera that alerts us when someone approaches (no alert). I received no call or text to say someone is on the way. My vehicle was in front of the house which is usually a sign someone is home. It was snowing but there were no tire tracks or footprints. I am now two days into trying to get the item delivered. I have spoken to five people now all of whom have said they are very sorry but have done nothing to resolve the problem. Two of them said they were sending the driver back. However, when no one showed up I called back and the next person told me their standard process is to reschedule for the next day. So their driver made a false statement and their customer service reps gave inaccurate information. DHL seems to only care about their large accounts but not about individuals.
My bag has been stuck with them for over a month. No one can give me any explanations. I've gone personally to the office, they still couldn't tell me anything. They gave me all the wrong paperwork to apply for an exemption. And they were so rude on the phone. Useless.

I have used the DHL office in Jesus Maria, Peru twice in the past month and both times I received excellent service and both times my package arrived early in the USA. I would recommend this company.

Paid for the next day delivery, their tracking system every time a long in tells me different information. Extremely frustrating experience. No idea when the delivery is going to take place and there is no way to find out as DHL online, telephone customer service is non existent.

Answer: Difficult. Automated system. Rip off phone charges. Cost so far to track our parcel, possibly missing has been around £25 in phone charges. Still trying. They wont phone you back and yet it is their error.
