Do not use DHL under any circumstance! FedEx and UPS are vastly superior services. I wasted two days waiting for a scheduled pickup that never came, even after a reschedule. To make matters worse, they lied and said that they came and the package wasn't ready on both days! Not true at all! I never left my home (I'm retired) and my security cameras prove they never came!
Well. I had to give it a one star because it is the least score I could use. Unfortunately the service is untimely inaccurate unworthy overly expensive and has a poor and irresponsible management with lousy coordination and self-denial.
I had a horrible experience with DHL. I decided to use DHL to send package to UK from California for a time sensitive real estate deal. My package (1-942-577-582) was on hold for last one week. DHL didn't contact me for three days and fourth day I called to know the reason of hold. I provided required document within an hour. DHL didn't update their systems for next two days. Every time I called same documents asked from me. Still after one week, my package is on hold, and I am late on real estate deal and have to pay penalty now. I have really bad experience with DHL and decided never to user their service again.

Got this message around 3 hours after the website was stuck telling me I would be the next stop.
"We're sorry but we haven't been able to deliver as our driver was unable to gain access to the delivery address"
As far as I can tell this means the driver couldn't be bothered delivering my parcel or didn't have the time.
Now I have to pick it up from a store as they won't redeliver on a Sunday.
Completely useless, I wish Halfords would use a different delivery service and I have never had a parcel on time with this company.

Paid Ch260 for 3 days guarantee delivery to Greece only to find they delivered parcel without customs clearance so it had to go back. Clearance cost euro 70. Parcel delivered normal mail with hidden costs. No apology No refund. They are cheats! Don t use them!
I placed my purchase order on Shopee on 6. 7. 2022 and the seller shipped out my item via DHL courier service on the next day. And yet, to-date (19. 7. 2022), I have yet to receive anything from DHL. The system says that they attempted service on 16. 7. 2022. However, that is not true as I did not receive any call or text from the despatch at all times, hence I called to seek clarification on 18. 7. 2022. Then, they promised me to deliver the item to my doorstep in the morning of 19. 7. 2022. I am writing this review at 5:01p. M, and yet I did not see a single shadow of DHL's despatch, let alone the parcel outside my house. The delivery status on Shopee remains "out for delivery" as of now. This is my first time of dealing with DHL and it would be my last time. Seriously, the 1 star review that I gave here is over-rated. I would have given negative star if there were such an available option.
I like to share my fantastic experience with DHL. After reading so many negative reviews, I was so worried to sent my important documents from Canada to India. But they did it on time, actually few days ahead without any issues. I received my package from India to Canada, Ontario within 5 business days and I sent a package vice versa also took only 5 days though they told 7-10 buisness days. I just sharing this so that people who are worrying reading negative reviews will get some relief same like I worried!
The people there just not care!
They do anything that they can go faster even if this is bad for the customers.
1. I waited home the whole day and then I just found a paper that they was there. No one is ringed the bell. Just left a paper and leave.
2. I was not home and they said I refused the package just that they do not need to deliver again. I guess because we filed an official complain about the delivery guy.
Try to avoid DHL if you can, the delivery sucks and customer service is just a puppet because they can not help in any matters and they no right to change anything. Or do something helpful.
I ordered item from sophiawebster.com DHL was carrier and my shoes never arrived! I emailed them and they ignored my email. They put fake signature, saying that someone signed the package with initials that doesn't exist! They are scammers be aware! I lost more than 900$ because of them!
AVOID! AVOID! If you value your package or shipment, DO NOT USE DHL. Most of the people who work there, including management do not care about customers or your package. They do not answer the phone, they answer emails late, they make false promises. DHL is just awful! DO not trust their quote, because what you will end paying will be double. On top of that you will not get your shipment on time. Expect a minimum of 1 week delay so if your shipment is urgent, pls use another carrier. This was the worst experience I ever had. I just wish I had read the reviews before trusting this horrible company with my shipment. Even opening an account with DHL takes 8 days instead of the 3 days they say. This company is HORRIBLE! Stay away. Frankly they should not be in business!
Quoted 3-5 business days after paying for express shipping. This is my second time purchasing from the vendor and the first delivery company provided updates on my package and delivered it ON TIME. My second purchase the company decided to use DHL who let my package sit in a warehouse for 5 out of the 3-5 business days with zero explanation. Customer service is just as worse. I will never purchase from a company that uses DHL.
Never once have I recieved a package on time. Which caused me to actively not use this company.
Always the drivers are rude. This time they outright lied about making a delivery attempt that was not made.
I would not have Shipped with them this time but my supplier changed to them and I didn't know it. I will be paying extra to have them use a different company from now on.

$#@! Really, DHL is not the best shipping service. More, this is the worst shipping service I ever had to deal with. They got their own customs office so they just try to get more and more and more money from people that are importing things or just trying to order something from abroad cheaper. Try to avoid it.
They gave me a delivery date of November the 17th. Needless to say that I didn't get it on time. They are the worst I've seen for delivery. I'd give them no stars for rating but the review won't let me. So I gave them a single star.
Please do not use DHL, they have not only a history of not actually delivering packages but when you try to call them they go to a 3rd party carrier who just tell you to call the merchant who will replace the item for free. No they wont and why should they? They shipped the item, it was lost in transit... why should they pay for it? Why should a small or large company be out merchandise because of your errors? I waited until I had personally seen more packages go lost than delivered going through DHL before I started to review them
I spent hundreds of dollars on this order, just wanted to make sure it actually gets to me.
The delivery address for my parcel is linked to multiple stores, so I called them to give them the name of the specific store. The DHL rep refused to update the delivery address if I don't pay import fees. I never said I wouldn't, I was transferred to a manager that wasn't sure she could update the shipping information at all. She said, she needed to put in a request etc. I then received a weird email from the department, it was full of typos, the email didn't make sense at all. I called the direct line listed on the email. Rep #1 refused to allow me to speak to a manager because according to her my reason wasn't good enough to be transferred. Rep #2 was actually understanding but the manager he transferred me to was talking to me like I was refusing to pay import fees. When that was never an issue. I told him, I felt like I've been treated like a thief refusing to pay import fees, when this was never the issue. He then had the audacity to get offended, and tell me not to put words in his mouth. I was trying to explain how I feel about the way I'm being treated, after spending hundreds of dollars on this order, and just wanting to make sure it actually gets to me. I've decided to contact the seller and request that my order be returned for a full refund. I will never deal with any company that uses DHL, not even for my business. They're disrespectful, unprofessional, and go out of their way to give you a terrible experience. This is an isolated incident
We had a terrible experience with DHL. Firstly, we posted the package 12days back and was supposed to arrive 4 days back as per tracking. We needed a small correction in apartment number and we got it corrected immediately while placing order. We kept tracking online and calling customer service to make sure its delivered to right address and on time. But since 4 days, all we hear is its delivered to wrong service location and then to wrong address and now still in transit. We are literally fighting with Customer service people and they can hardly help as they keep reading what we see on tracking. Package had prescribed Medication for a patient and we cannot do anything but to keep waiting.
All on all, its a nightmare for us and i would never encourage to ship with DHL again.

The driver was disrespectful, yelling at my roommate who is a 62 year old who had hip surgery was so slow to come to the door. Our front door normally open remotely. It didnt that time. Who is this driver. We had numerous deliveries from DHL but never had this bad kind of driver. Sad. I hope he's not the driver who's delivering some of my stuff from Korea.
I appreciate the competence of DHL customer service putting a trace on my package and advising me of the cause of a shipping delay in India (New Delhi) due to a multi-day national holiday. I could understand that and appreciated their effort to allay my concerns for a shipping delay. Thank you!
What a horribly incompetent company. They delivered a package to the wrong address yet "confirm" to me it was sent to the right GPS! Yes, the right state, city and complex (of 20+ buildings) but wrong building and apartment number. And they refuse to correct this and place the blame on me because I allowed delivery without need for a signature regardless of its incorrect delivery. When I confronted the "supervisor bot" and asked if her lack of concern was because she thought I was "stupid." She admonished me to watch my "bad language!" I am sure she has heard and will continue to hear worse. DO NOT USE DHL - EVER!

Answer: Difficult. Automated system. Rip off phone charges. Cost so far to track our parcel, possibly missing has been around £25 in phone charges. Still trying. They wont phone you back and yet it is their error.
