Parcel shipped to me from St-Petersburg, Russia to Toronto, Canada. Parcel arrived in Toronto in 2 days. 10 days later, still waiting to receive! First they wanted a copy of the commercial invoice (already included by the shipper). Next they wanted a customs declaration for value (already provided by the shipper). Next they insisted that I pay all duties before delivery (other shippers who care about customer service usually delivery the parcel and send a invoice afterwards to collect duties). Now, my parcel is still in limbo with no delivery date specified. Do yourself a favour and use another shipper. This company has terrible, terrible customer service! G
Been using this shipping company for years and always got only the best impression about their service. Yup, it costs additional money compared to esps or such, but its totally worth. Use it if you need to deliver something valuable promply and completely undamaged.
I ordered a product from a canada based company, after informing me it had shipped the last update said it was in cincinatti and no other updates have been provided all day, even though the date of delivery will not be honored because they dont care what people pay for on shipping
I never got a package delivered with DHL without issues. Lost packages, delays, $#*!ty website that redirects you to other companies. If you call them on their european number, someone from India will answer who knows nothing about your package. Unvelievable.
Our package was delivered on a wrong address in a completely different area street etc with only house number matching, unbelievable and irresponsible! Anyone with basic intelligence cannot make this mistake. On top of that we raised the complaint immediately in 2 hrs after delivery notification and they took our complaint and said they will start the recovery immediately and said by Monday evening you will have the status. This happened on Friday and then on Monday evening when we called to know the status they said the recovery is not started and and is asking the same questions again :(

The worst service ever! My package arrived two weeks ago and still processed by Zoll. I have sent multiple emails with poformainvoice and transactions. But still no answer! DHL should close down and give space to more reliable companies.
I got a text message at 08:00 saying that my very important document could not be delivered because the address was unknown. My address is on the M4 probably the oldest main road in Cape Town and I eventually drove to get my parcel because it was urgent. They just didn't want to drive down to Lakeside. I spoke to 2 managers at 08:10 and again at 12:00ish and they both blatantly lied about the parcel saying yes they will send it. One lady laughed and smirked when I arrived to pick the document up at the airport, greeting me as aaah Mr xxxxx. Absolutely shocking with zero positive customer service. Needless to say no more DHL in my life. There are a lot of people out there without jobs why employ such rubbish?
Just don't use them seriously! They charge you exhorbitant prices then when the package is actually delivered (forever after) they want you to pay some more ''fees''. Ended up being almost half the price of my actual purchases seriously wtf? Will never order from a company that uses them.
I had to have my package rescheduled THREE times. The first reschedule was understandable, as no one was at the door when the deliverer arrived. However, after rescheduling to a specific time slot the next day, I did not receive my package despite being literally 4 feet away from the door as the deliverer did not knock! After two hours of waiting, I got the notification that delivery had been unsuccessful and that consignee had been absent, though I fail to see how the consignee should be aware that someone is at the door without knocking on it.
I reschedule a second time, and I choose the option to leave the package on my doorstep. I choose the delivery time slot from 3:30-6 PM, but the delivery time ends up being pushed to "Before End of Day". Finally, at 10:20 PM I get the notification that the delivery was unsuccessful because consignee was not available DESPITE me specifically choosing the no-signature required option. I call DHL's office, and they have the delivery rescheduled to the next day in the morning/early afternoon. I told the that the deliverer had not listened to the instructions telling him to leave the package at the doorstep, despite that being an option literally offered by DHL, and the man on the phone said that this was because some deliverers do not believe the area to be safe enough for a package to be left. Completely irregardless to the fact that my area IS indeed safe enough for a package to stay out for a few minutes alone, or all night if need be, I would think that a deliverer should just stick to his instructions. Anyway, the package finally came around noon-time today.
As soon as I see a delivery is coming via DHL, I plan on a delay. I wish I were exaggerating, but I really do mean EVERY time. I actively ask vendors if I can pay more for any other shipper if I know ahead of time. This is my first order from a company (Grove) so I was not aware it would come DHL. Lo and behold—it's already been delayed two days. My it's just this bad regionally? I just honestly can't imagine why companies still use DHL.
Last year some content im my package was missing, i complained to dhl Nigetia and nothing was done, this year i bought synthetic braided hair and a curly wig and i checked now it was returned back to Nigeria. Will never send my package through them again.
Ordered a router through a different company. Unfortunately, this company relies on DHL for deliveries.
- Claimed a maximum of 3-5 days to deliver. Took 10 days/
- Claimed that on the tenth day it would arrive between 10-12am, did not arrive until 2pm.
- Customer service was terrible; multiple different people called me with different stories. Each time I had to repeat my experience over and over. Difficult to hear them or understand what they were saying.
Overall terrible company, would not recommend using it in any capacity and if you do, multiply the expected time by 2.
I was to receive a package from JJsHouse. Everything looked on-track. I signed up for no signature delivery but asked for photo confirmation. Package was delivered and photo taken and sent to me saying it had been delivered. EXCEPT... it isn't my house! I immediately contacted DHL in order to try to track the delivery in a matter of minutes. They claim they delivered to my house. I explained I do not have the package and the confirmation photo is not my house. They take no responsibility and pass me back to the company I ordered the product from... who does not take responsibility since it was DHL error. Since filing the claim they have deleted all tracking and information on my package. DO NOT use DHL if you want you packages to arrive!
I shipped a bottle of cologne from england to canada from a brand name company. They would not ship the package out of England because my husbands name came up on a terrorist list - very common muslim name. And requested an image of my passport to prove that He wasn't trying to let a cologne leave the country for what reason I still don't understand.
DHL has to be the worst shipping company there is. The postal service is faster and more accurate than this place. Who ever is running it needs to be fired and this company should be on their knees begging for amazons help on how to run a successful shipping company. Complete trash, they're a joke
Please hurry up and go out of business. I had no signature drop off they can't follow directions of course. And they lying said they came by. Horrible. But we all know this. I knew when I saw DHl. Shipping I yelled out loud FUUUUUUU@#$&2+_. Y'all suck... peace everyone... let's please boycott DHL.
I live part time in Mexico and Canada, coming back to Canada I left my keys for my car and work in Mexico and had them shipped to me using DHLThey made us put a $1000 dollars insurance even though we did not want it, then when the keys arrived in Canada they tried to charge me $142.64 in duties and taxes for my own keys.
I had to file report with proof of my travels and more, big headache, after all that they sent my keys back to mexico after paying $80 dollars to ship them to Canada.
Been trying to deal with support but they are absolutely no help.
I still have not received them after 2 months, they provided a new tracking number and should be arriving, they will probably try to charge me more shipping fees on top of the $80 I already paid for them not doing anything except making me loose the use of my car for two months.

I have been waiting for my package that was on DHL's custody since August 17th. It was supposed to come in August 24. Okay, that's fine I guess. But then today, the day before the 24th, it got delayed 9 DAYS. So that means it is a 28 day overall experience assuming it's not delayed again. This package isn't coming from china or anywhere, It's coming from Monroe Township, New Jeresy. USPS would have already been here.
4 weeks... they are getting worse by the day. The expected delivery date on my package from Canada to India was august 22nd 2020. I paid $183 to get it shipped, its 9th September today and it still hasn't been delivered. I've gone to the level of including CEO John Peterson in my escalation email, and they still have no responsibility.
Be wary of made up charges that makes you tax-liable!
DHL added an extra 500 onto the freight charges onto the declaration (something which I did not pay). The value was plucked out of thin air, and added onto the declaration. This balooned the total value of my purchase to about 700, making it liable to import duties. The amount of taxes paid is even higher than the actual value of the product

Answer: Difficult. Automated system. Rip off phone charges. Cost so far to track our parcel, possibly missing has been around £25 in phone charges. Still trying. They wont phone you back and yet it is their error.
