This was my first time ordering from here and i was a little nervous about timing and how it would turn out. I had an order, it was shipped to me 42 days late. And i tried to get my money back, they requested to me ship back the goods however the shipping fee was too high from usa to china. I didn't it of course, to prevented my money in risk. Then the payment was released to the seller. Even though i contacted with the costumer service. They each time said the same story. All the costumer service representatives have the same story. That is. Be away from this terrible systme.

There are numerous sellers on your site who I think are less than honest. After ordering the products, they contacted me to inform me that the product is no longer available. They insist that I order another product from their shop. When I declined, they claimed that they will get it from another seller for me. However, after waiting for several months, I didn't not get the merchandise. But the payment has been released. I can no longer ask for a refund by then. Hey dhgate users! Dhgate is developing a new product Socialshops. You can get it via socialshops.com or appsore. They are at their promotion stage and you can get a powerbank for $1.
Don't be fooled by Dhgate positive reviews like I did. Ordered dress from the seller Elegantdresses/Order no: ******* and everything about the dress was wrong(material, size and craftsmanship). The dress was Inside Out! Opened a dispute, seller said they will make a new dress if I close it. Dhgate will never give you full refund unless you send the item back even though it was useless. It was gonna cost over $50 to ship it back which was ridiculous. I emailed dispute to close it believing that seller will keep to their word and also the person who handled the dispute said "If you have any problem later, or seller do not cooperate and help you solve the problem, please do not hesitate to tell us. We will help you further. Please do not worry." They never made it and kept dragging on with lie after lie.
I kept emailing the analyst who handled the dispute - no reply. Emailed customer service - no reply. Then I contacted the live support multiple times and spent hours. First person said "ask seller leave a message saying "I agree to give you a refund of $**"". How can this happen when seller does not respond to you! Then every time after all the representatives kept saying hat they escalated the case and dhgate will email but that never happened. I chased this for over 6 months!
This seller was exploiting the system and committing serious misconduct and they literally took no action & showed a blind eye to this! DHGATE CUSTOMER SERVICE & SELLERS ARE ALL LIARS AND ULTRA GREEDY SCAM ARTISTS. No matter what even if they send a completely useless item they will make money because the return costs are so high. What a complete waste of time, money and energy. Learnt a valuable lesson not to trust anyone so easily.
Don't be a victim, AVOID THIS HORRIBLE SCAM SITE LIKE A PLAGUE!
